Yikes: What this black pastor just said about Trump will make a LOT of folks very nervous

As you’re probably aware, Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump met with about 100 black pastors yesterday. The liberal media was gleefully reporting that a scheduled press conference was cancelled because there was no unanimous agreement among the pastors to endorse Trump. In fact, watching the news yesterday, you would have gotten the impression the meeting was downright acrimonious – because that’s the narrative the left desperately needs to cultivate.

One pastor made a comment afterwards that will strike fear into the hearts of those — on either side — who try to portray Trump as an obnoxious blowhard.

Darrell Scott, a pastor at the New Spirit Revival Center in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, said “Nobody at this meeting came out with negative reaction in any kind of way. Everybody in the room likes Donald Trump.”

Uh-oh! There goes THAT narrative.

The Hill reports that Scott stood by Trump’s side on Monday, saying that the meeting was “productive” and “constructive” and that the group of religious leaders are a “united front.”

“We voiced concerns sensitive to the African-American community,” Scott said. “We’re all satisfied with the answers.”

Scott said there were a number of pastors who endorsed Trump, but didn’t have an official number. He said the religious leaders who remain undecided are “praying about it.”

You can watch Trump’s comments here – of course he says the meeting was “amazing. And take a look at the woman on Trump’s right. You might recognize her as the “villainess” from the first season of “The Apprentice,” Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, who is now a minister.

At least where this presidential race is concerned, truth is stranger than fiction. (And as far as Democrat frontrunner Hillary Clinton is concerned, truth is RARER than fiction, but that’s a different story).
