This morning at about 8:00 am local time, an attacker stabbed five people at a California university campus before being shot and killed by police.
Fox says, “two of the victims attacked at the University of California, Merced, were taken by helicopter to hospitals for treatment, spokeswoman Lorena Anderson said. The three other victims were treated locally, she said.”
Thankfully it appears none of the victims’ wounds were fatal.
And thankfully, a good guy with a gun was able to stop a bad guy with a knife.
Will there be an outcry for knife control? Why is the media not calling this a “mass stabbing?”
We’ll have to wait for more details before the story is given its inevitable spin. In the meantime, we pray the victims recover quickly from their wounds.
