You might be familiar with (now) 13-year-old activist, C.J. Pearson. His video rants about President Obama’s supposed love for our country and George Takei’s racist comments have made him somewhat of a YouTube sensation.
But away from the camera, C.J. is an ordinary eighth-grader who attends an ordinary public middle school in Grovetown, Georgia just outside of Augusta.
Which is why, what C.J. sent me today is so disturbing. We write here often about how the liberal progressive agenda permeates our public school system. Here’s the latest example.
C.J. emailed me, “this morning, while sitting in Business Science, I had a bit of free time so I decided to browse the web. I needed to access something from tedcruz.org, but after multiple attempts, the page kept coming up as blocked.”
“Needless to say, I was intrigued, C.J. writes, So, I thought, why not try Planned Parenthood. And to my astonishment, there it was, not even blocked.”
Does it concern anyone else that Planned Parenthood (i.e. contraceptives and abortion) is being served up to 13-year-olds without any parental oversight, while a political site is forbidden?
C.J. didn’t say whether Hillary Clinton’s campaign website was also blocked, but it just seems to me getting young people engaged in our system of governance should be at least as important as getting them engaged in sexual activity.
But I guess I’m old-fashioned that way.
