Carson suggests using drones on the Mexican border; liberal media IMMEDIATELY does this

As the national debate on our Southern border continues, Republican Presidential candidate Ben Carson is seeing extra media attention today after telling audiences this weekend he’d use drones to monitor the U.S. border with Mexico.

Carson said drones should be used primarily as a means of surveillance but added that the unmanned vehicles would also be helpful for destroying “caves” used by cartels. The candidate explicitly stated he would never allow drones to target people, Mexican or otherwise. The Southern border has long been a political football of blame tossed from party to party, but it seems this outsider understands something needs to be done, and done well. Carson also said the National Guard should be positioned along the border so it can truly “guard the nation,” as its name suggests.

At the event where Carson first suggested the use of drones, he said he imagined the media would twist his words in order to make him sound ridiculous.

As soon as Carson was live on CNN this morning, he was proved correct. In a response to CNN coverage of his border comments, Carson reiterated, “I’m not talking about killing people. No people with drones.”

He went on to say, “I said you guys, some of you, are going to go out and say, ‘Carson wants to use drones to kill people on the borders.’ How ridiculous. At some point I hope we have some responsible media, which actually focuses on the problem: We have a huge security risk there. And talk to some of the sheriffs down there on the border… listen to the frustration. You should have them on your show and let them talk about what is actually going on down there.”

The political outsider has been steadily gaining respect from Conservative leaders while at the same time drawing ire from the media ever since his performance in the first GOP debate. Relatively simple suggestions like these have fueled media attention, earning him supporters and opponents in the national political arena. Carson’s common-sense approach to America’s problems have long reverberated with common-sense Americans seeking change in various areas, including Health Care. (Carson is a proponent of health savings accounts, as he explains here).

Millions of Republicans who’ve been recently attracted to Donald Trump are likely to be impressed with Carson’s bold departure from established political norms. Carson is composed and compassionate and agrees that the current border national security risk that must be addressed. While Trump has been making headlines, Carson has been making sense – and that’s always a problem for liberals. Keep an eye out on how often the liberal media tries to twists his words. Clearly, they’re afraid of him.
