What Donald Trump Said Just Days BEFORE Chattanooga Shootings Was Spot On

While many have been vocal in their outrage about our disarmed troops in the aftermath of yesterday’s tragedy, at least one GOP presidential candidate had been warning of this danger just days before. (Of course, we have been sounding this alarm for some time now, as noted here.)

Yes, a mere days BEFORE yesterday’s shooting, GOP candidate of the moment Donald Trump sounded off about the dangers of gun-free zones on military bases.

Here’s what he said in a recent interview with Ammoland.com:

As Commander-in-Chief, I would mandate that soldiers remain armed and on alert at our military bases.

President Clinton never should have passed a ban on soldiers being able to protect themselves on bases. America’s Armed Forces will be armed.

They will be able to defend themselves against terrorists. Our brave soldiers should not be at risk because of policy created by civilian leadership.

In addition to pointing out the insanity of the military directive which disarms our troops and leaves them defenseless targets for Islamic fanatics, Trump highlighted what may be one of the more dangerous — but less frequently highlighted — forces we face today as a nation.

Political correctness has no place in this debate.

Donald Trump is right. It’s clear that in addition to gun-free zones, the hyper political correctness — that renders the current administration unable to utter the words “Islamic terrorism” — are putting our troops, and our country, at grave risk. Indeed, political correctness may have played a key role in yesterday’s killing of four good American Marines.

Once again, love him or hate him, Donald Trump deserves credit for saying things other might not dare, but that desperately need to be said. Judging from the his rise in the polls, it seems that many Americans are hungry for more such political INcorrectness.
