It’s always interesting to make comparative analyses in order to uncover hypocrisy. On Monday, the South Carolina legislature voted to remove the Confederate battle flag from a monument on the State Capitol grounds. This is part of a reactive liberal progressive frenzy of a manipulated crisis resulting from the actions of one racist sociopath who killed nine black churchgoers in Charleston SC. We all came to know those nine beautiful souls, who were sadly and demonically taken away from us. However, anyone heard of Amari Brown?
As reported by the Chicago Tribune, “After a relatively quiet start to the Fourth of July weekend in Chicago, a burst of gun violence overnight left three dead and 27 people wounded in just eight hours, including 7-year-old Amari Brown, killed after returning from a celebration.
“It’s crazy,” said Vedia Hailey, the grandmother of the boy. “Who would shoot a 7-year-old in the chest? Who would do that to a baby? When is it going to stop?” From 9:20 p.m Saturday until 4:45 a.m. Sunday, 30 people were shot across Chicago, three of them fatally, including Amari. The other victims included a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl shot shortly after midnight as they walked in Old Town, and a 19-year-old man shot around 10 p.m. Saturday as two groups fought near Navy Pier after the fireworks display. Several of the shootings across the city involved multiple victims: Four people shot in one incident in Austin, three shot in Albany Park, and two victims in shootings in the West Chesterfield, Humboldt Park, Old Town and Fuller Park neighborhoods. The worst burst of violence last Fourth of July in the city occurred during a 13-hour stretch from Sunday afternoon through early Monday morning: four dead and 26 wounded. So far this holiday weekend in Chicago, seven people have been killed and 41 people wounded by gun violence. Last year, the toll was 82 people shot in 84 hours. Sixteen of them died.”
The final toll for Independence Day 2015 in Chicago was ten killed and 55 wounded.
But hey, don’t worry, it was the Confederate flag that made them do it, and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is doing everything to have the Confederate flag removed from Chicago. Illinois GOP Governor Bruce Rauner is calling for a special session of the State legislature to remove any flags and monuments reminding anyone of the Confederacy.
Yep, that will solve the problem.
So where is the outrage and press statement from the first black president, Barack Obama? After all, he is from Chicago. Any marches planned or rallies with signs saying, “black lives matter?” Louis Farrakhan is also a Chicago resident — guess this all happened because of the American flag, huh Louie?
Yes, this is all about white privilege and white supremacy. That’s why little seven- year-old Amari Brown was shot in the chest. I suppose President Obama will deliver the eulogy and sing “Amazing Grace” for this young black child who lost his life – but not because of a gun. Amari and so many others in Chicago and all across inner cities in America have lost their lives because of the failure of liberal progressive socialist policies that have broken down the black family and robbed the black community of educational and economic opportunity. Chicago has the most restrictive gun laws so obviously this is not about gun control.
And this ladies and gents is why you will not hear about Amari. That beautiful little child does not fit into the manufactured political agenda of the liberal progressive left. If the deaths of nine in Charleston garnered media attention and outrage, then why not the deaths of ten in Chicago? The answer is simple: the left can leverage a sick demented white kid for their nefarious purposes far better than accept what is happening in the inner cities, the hell holes that the liberal left have created.
So, will the first black first lady start a hashtag campaign? And to think, there’s been a 25 percent increase in gun violence in the city of the president. David Axelrod, does he care? Valerie Jarrett, does she care? David Plouffe, does he care? Hillary Clinton, who is also from Chicago, will she use roped off families as part of a structured media photo op?
Yes, comparisons are useful in evidencing hypocrisy. And there is no and I mean no excuse for this, and the response. Now, of course, yours truly will be the target of condemnation because that’s just how the progressive socialist left rolls.
Saul Alinsky, another Chicagoan, instructed them well to never accept the failures of your own principles, just attack those who do not conform or point them out. Well, screw y’all!
You of the elitist liberal progressive left who are sitting back and watching the black community kill itself off, I will not allow you to escape being castigated as the liars and hypocrites that you are. Someone has to speak up for Amari so his death is not completely vain. How many of our black children must be killed by the policies of the liberal left before we awake? They kill them before they are born. They are killed after being born. This is genocidal, and the leftists and their complicit media has this country running around chasing our tails about a damn flag. They are canceling TV shows like the Dukes of Hazzard while the left are the dukes of destruction, despair, despondency and death in the black community.
Shame on y’all NAACP, National Urban League, Congressional Black Caucus — y’all are nothing more than the lapdogs of these white liberal progressives. You are the true “sellouts.” How many more Amaris must there be before you give back the pieces of silver you were given to betray your own people?
You are disgusting, despicable individuals with no sense of honor or any character whatsover. I am quite sure when Missy Hillary comes around, you’ll line up to kiss her arse, such as Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee did at Texas Southern University recently. Y’all can hate me all you wish, but I am no one’s bondservant.
Amari, my heart cries aloud for you and all I can wish is that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has wrapped his loving arms around you. You deserved so much more than a bullet. You deserved the American dream, the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. You should not have lost your life, your liberty, your pursuit of happiness as we celebrated those unalienable rights on this 239th Independence Day weekend.
Requiem en Pace Amari, Vaya con Dios.
