What O’Reilly just said about the SF murder NEEDS to be heard by everyone

Since we first reported the story to you last Friday, the tragic murder of Kate Steinle at the hands of Mexican illegal immigrant — and seven-time convicted felon and five-time deportee — Francisco Sanchez has captured national attention, providing a case study of sorts to color the debate over illegal immigration. Now, mixed in with continued flak over Donald Trump’s comments over Mexican illegal immigrants is outrage over what — and who — is responsible for taking the life of one innocent woman.

Adding his own fiery voice to the chorus, Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly sounds off in the video below about who’s responsible. Even for O’Reilly, who’s never once to mince words, this is EPIC.

O’Reilly directly calls out both the city of San Francisco and the Obama administration for their support of so-called “sanctuary cities” — of which San Francisco is one — which provide safe haven even for convicted, illegal criminals. And, in this case, can be tied directly to Kate Steinle’s murder, given perpetrator Sanchez’s admission that he kept coming back to San Francisco to avoid deportation, given its sanctuary policy.

Apparently, Sanchez has SEVEN felony convictions, has been deported FIVE times. Yet he’s still walking around the streets of San Francisco, this guy.

That’s because Mayor Ed Lee and the 11 members of the San Francisco city supervisors refuse to cooperate with the federal government on criminal aliens. The feds ASKED the city of San Francisco to keep Sanchez in custody. The city refused. Miss Steinle paid for that irresponsible and unconstitutional decision with her life.

San Francisco’s a sanctuary city and proud of it. And violent crimes committed by criminal aliens have happened there before. City authorities refuse to say how many because they know it’s a huge scandal — a black mark on the history of San Francisco, the most tolerant of cities.

O’Reilly goes on to detail the legal history which led to the tragedy and concludes, based on these facts:

  • In 1996, President Bill Clinton signed the Illegal Immigration Reform and Responsibility Act, which stipulated that local and state authorities were to cooperate with the feds in apprehending illegal aliens, especially criminals.
  • In 2007, then-mayor Gavin Newsom issued an Executive Order stating, that as a sanctuary city, San Francisco would NOT cooperate with federal authorities on illegal immigration matters and WOULD PROTECT even criminal aliens. The Feds did nothing.
  • In 2010 the Obama administration OPENLY SAID it would not punish cities who refuse to obey the 1996 immigration law.

Interesting twist where the usually-overbearing Obama administration is hands-off on this policy. But of course, it’s all in the name of furthering its own agenda — not protecting the Constitution or the nation’s rule of law.

O’Reilly concludes:

So here’s the deal: The mayor and city supervisors of San Francisco are directly responsible for the murder of Kate Steinle, and the Obama administration is complicit.

Putting aside the details for a moment — e.g., questions over federal vs. local authority, etc. — let me ask this: in what universe does it make sense for a convicted, illegal felon to have more protection than an innocent young woman? For our government — which is constitutionally bound to protect citizens from foreign intruders — to provide SANCTUARY for proven, foreign criminals while trading the life of an innocent young woman?

Sadly, this universe is Obama’s America.
