Based on President Obama’s comments at the recent Poverty Summit — everything seems to be the fault of Fox News. And silly me, I thought that he didn’t watch Fox! So, I suppose if the current Iranian nuclear “deal” goes south, that will also be the fault of the number one watched cable news station.
So, as I was scanning one of my favorite sites, Algemeiner.com, I came across a story I’m quite sure is also the fault of Fox News. Algemeiner reports, “An official close to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei asserted that his government has a godly ordained right to annihilate Israel, Al Arabiya reported on Tuesday.
The “government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has divine permission to destroy Israel,” said Mojtaba Zolnour, a Khamenei representative in the elite Revolutionary Guards. According to semi-official state news agency Fars, Zolnour said that, “the Noble Koran permits the Islamic Republic of Iran to destroy Israel.” He added that, “Even if Iran gives up its nuclear program, it will not weaken this country’s determination to destroy Israel.”
I just have to ask, why are we sitting at the table with these Islamic nut cases? Can there be any more clear reason why Prime Minister Netanyahu does not trust the Obama administration, or that Saudi Arabia’s King decided not to attend the Middle East summit being held by President Obama. Can we not all agree that if the policy of the Obama administration is to continue to pursue a “deal” with Iran, we are effectively advocating the demise of Israel?
And please, spare me the drivel that this has nothing to do with Islam — seems this fella is justifying the destruction of Israel by the Koran. And isn’t it high time we take our enemy for their word — unless don’t consider Iran our enemy?
We recently shared with you the words of one General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, the commander of Iran’s Basij militia – a volunteer paramilitary organization under the command of the IRGC – who said that, “wiping Israel off the map is not up for negotiation.”
And there has been a history of these types of statements from Iranian leaders — which should certainly disqualify them from any consideration of being partners in peace. As Algemeiner reminds us, “Iran has raised the specter of “wiping Israel out of existence,” since Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini seized power in the country in 1979. Khomeini’s animosity towards Israel was based on an ideological and religious opposition to Zionism, amplified by the challenge Israel’s military and economic strength posed to Iranian regional expansionism.”
And if you fall under the spell that it will take Iran some 15 years before they can develop a nuclear capacity, you must understand their demand for an immediate lifting of economic sanctions will result in billions of dollars flowing back to the militant Islamist regime. There can be doubt that those revenues will somehow end up financing their two Islamic terrorist proxy armies — Hamas and Hezbollah, as well as the Houthis.
Why does the Obama administration not come out and say, based on the continuing violent and vitriolic rhetoric of Iran, we have determined that they cannot be trusted and negotiations with Iran are now ceased. And that doesn’t mean we’re going to war folks — that is the false fear tactic to force capitulation to the whims of President Obama.
Place yourself in Israel’s shoes — these are statements made against its very existence. And just yesterday we learned the Vatican has decided to recognize a “Palestinian State” — in other words an Islamic terrorist state. Be it Fatah or Hamas, they are both Islamic terrorist organizations — just varying degrees of combativeness.
So why does President Obama want to hold a Middle East summit? I have no idea either.
One thing is for sure, Israel is searching for friends and allies, because its supposed best ally, America, is being led by a definitive Islamist sympathizer who is appeasing the wolves of Islam. And sadly, not only does Iran chant “Death to Israel” they also scream “Death to America” — tell me, what kind of American president would accept those declarations?
My recommendation is to walk away from the table and if Iran’s mystic mullahs and absurd ayatollahs continue with their belligerence — you crush them in every way using every aspect of our national power.
