4 terrorists went from Syria to Israel; Israel shows why that was a DUMB idea

Recently we reported about the Hezbollah leader who stated it won’t be long before they’re so close to Israel, they wouldn’t need long range missiles. Along with that report came the words from the Iranian Basij militia’s leader who claimed that “Israel’s destruction is non-negotiable.” If you’re paying attention to the trappings of Middle Eastern foreign affairs, you know Iran has extended hegemonic dominance in Lebanon where its proxy military Hezbollah reigns. And also, Iran has its tentacles well-established in Syria supporting Bashar Assad.

And with that being said, Israel knows it must stand and defend its existence. As reported by the Jerusalem Post, “The IDF said in an official statement that it will not “tolerate any attempt to harm or violate Israeli sovereignty.” The Israel Air Force struck and killed four terrorists who crossed into Israel from Syria and planted explosives near an abandoned IDF post on Sunday night said, a senior IDF source. The source declined to say which organization the terror cell belonged to, saying it was too soon for such details. The incident, which occurred at 21:30 in the northern Golan Heights near Majdal Shams, began when Combat Intelligence Collection Units identified four suspects planting the explosives on the eastern side of the border fence, within Israeli territory. The suspects were placed under a top priority observation for several minutes, before action was taken. The IDF confirmed that the terrorists were in fact planting bombs, before ordering an air strike, the source said. “We could see them planting the explosives clearly,” he added. At least three terrorists have been killed, and a fourth has most likely been killed as well, but that will be confirmed after day break on Monday, he added.”

This is what happens when the enemy is emboldened as it sees our “allies” being abandoned. Of course there will be those detractors who will accuse Israel of being an “apartheid state” or other absurd assertions. I just have to ask, do we still believe Israel is a sovereign state with a right to exist? It’s obvious Iran and Its Islamist affiliates do not.

Just in case you need a reminder, “back in January 2015, according to foreign-media reports, an IAF aircraft fired missiles at a military convoy in the Syrian town of Quneitra, on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights. Six senior Hezbollah operatives, including Jihad Mughniyeh, son of the late Hezbollah operations chief Imad Mughniyeh, and six senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard officials, including Brig.-Gen. Muhammad Ali Allahdadi, were killed in the attack. Mughniyeh was “the head of a major terrorist entity” who was setting up a base on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights with Iranian help and was planning deadly cross-border attacks against Israel, including infiltrations, rockets and border bombings, a Western intelligence source said. Hezbollah retaliated days later by firing five Kornet missiles at an IDF convoy traveling 2 km. away from the Lebanese border, striking an Isuzu D-Max vehicle and killing two IDF personnel inside.” So if anyone is under the misconceived perception that all is quiet and peaceful on Israel’s northern border, there’s nothing farther from the truth.

And remember this is happening while the Obama administration is just dying to enter into a nuclear “deal” with Iran. This is what I find so very interesting — Iran is advancing its interests all over the Middle East and in a most nefarious manner. It is a slap in the face of Israel that President Obama would seek an agreement with the number one state sponsor of Islamic terrorism while Iran is backing terrorist attacks against Israel. The fact that six senior Iranian Revolutionary Guards officials were killed in the January 2015 attack is quite telling. And we all know that Hezbollah probably received its Kornet missiles from Iran.

The Middle East is falling apart, especially since President Obama stated that America was pivoting away from the region. This has had and will continue to have severe detrimental effects. This is not about policing the world or nation building. It is about recognizing the enemy, Iran in particular, Islamic terrorism as a derivative, and developing the strategies and alliances to defeat this scourge. Seriousness and resolve in this matter would go far in sending a message to Russia, China, and others such as Qatar and Turkey.

But if Saturday night’s White House Correspondents dinner was any indication — seriousness and resolve aren’t evident qualities, unless it’s against one’s political enemies.

  1. Israel will prevail, she always does. Israel has endured wars and contant terrorism in its short history so there’s no doubt it will survive the Obama administration. Compared to what the Jewish people suffered during our almost 6,000 year history, Obama is more like a speed bump than an obstacle…we have to slow down a bit and just take big step over it. No problem.

    • Yes Isreal will survive because they don’t play around. Now the USA under this admin. Not sure we can hold out 18 months to get someone that takes all this BS seriously. Enough political correctness and do what’s right!

  2. Yes, we believe Israel has a right to exist, and wouldn’t it be lovely if we had a president who agreed with us? The ME is going to hell in a hand basket and he’s busy roasting journalists.

  3. The only way we can stop these monsters is to deny them what they want; Paradise in the afterlife. The method is evidently obvious, cheap and easy.
