Obama to Congress: You can have an opinion on Iran but don’t DARE try this…

You don’t want to cross the king! Over the weekend, in his royal audience with the New York Times, his excellency Barack Obama made it clear to Congress that they’re free to have opinions, but they better not try to stop him making a “deal” with Iran.

“My hope is that we can find something that allows Congress to express itself but does not encroach on traditional presidential prerogatives and ensures that if in fact we get a good deal that we can go ahead and implement it,” he said.

Right, Congress can have “free expression” but better not try to use any powers granted by the Constitution (that crusty old thing).

However, maybe for once our elected representatives might actually represent us. Even the Democrats!

Amazingly, New York Senator Chuck Shumer ‘has endorsed passage of a measure opposed by President Barack Obama that would give Congress a chance to reject the administration-brokered nuclear framework deal with Iran,” according to Newsmax.

“Schumer, who is also one of the most influential voices in the Iran debate, told Politico on Monday that “I strongly believe that Congress should have the right to disapprove any agreement” dealing with Iran’s nuclear program.”

“Schumer threw his support behind legislation introduced by Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker to allow Congress to vote to suspend the lifting of sanctions on Iran.”

Can Congress get anywhere on this one? It’s going to be tough.

First, Politico reported, Corker would need to win the support of all 54 Republicans and 13 Democrats for his bill. Obama would presumably veto it and send it back to Capitol Hill for what would be a high-stakes override vote.

After that, the Republicans could file a “motion of disapproval” that would also have to withstand another Obama veto. The entire process “could easily take until late May, and all along the White House would be free to continue ironing out the final technical document governing the deal,” Politico said.

All the while, Iran will be spinning those centrifuges. And we still have about 21 more months of this tyrannical presidency.

He’s a thug with low self esteem coupled with an out of control ego. Not a pretty ending.

I’m surprised that Obama didn’t make a Book of Yeezus for himself like Kanye’s

or he’s brilliant for controlling most of the population like an army of zombies. It’s hard to call a tyrant stupid when he is so wildly successful….

Someone needs to blast this SOB off of his throne and get someone in there with a bit of talent.

I was getting sick of life anyway. Bring on the fucking Apocalypse! It’s not going to fare well for the liberals when society collapses following Iranian and Russian nuclear strikes 🙂

It really is amazing how far we have come.

The man ignores the constitution and half of his constituents on a daily basis. While capitulating to sworn enemies and thumbs his nose to our allies.

I guess we get what we deserve when you put a community organizer in the most powerful office on earth.

Must be tough knowing that wherever he goes he has the least skill set of any one in the room.

Whether it be a Girl Scout meeting or addressing the UN.

I hope so – read a short story titled, “When it came”, by Francis Porretto about that exact subject. I was cheering while reading the article.

Hey, Obama, it’s called the constitution and it doesn’t need to be found….

Obama really hates that old document called the Constitution of the United States… but he not only hates it he abhors it because it gives the people rights. It keeps him from becoming a dictator… and protects the citizens of the US from a tyrannical government.

Actually it is the armed citizen that keeps Obama in check. The constitution states our position on the matter.

Isn’t it about time that the Military came to the White House to arrest Obama for being incompetent? They are starting to talk about it for what he is doing to the military and all the high brass. I just wish it was yesterday, a done deal.
