Ok, here’s my prediction: the Obama administration will go to the United Nations Security Council and drop its veto against the establishment of the “two-state solution.”
Mind you that was originally supposed to be Israel and Jordan, but it wasn’t good enough for Yasser Arafat. And the whole Palestinian thing? Well, go back and do a little reading about the second Jewish Bar Kokhba revolt, and what Roman Emperor Hadrian decreed afterwards — changing the region’s name from Judea to Palaestina. The root word of Palaestina came from Philistia and their ancestors were Greek.
Sadly, when we in the West are historically ignorant, the manipulative can kidnap a designation and use it for their own nefarious purposes. You see, the real Palestinians are the Jewish people. The word was introduced to punish their failed revolt against the Romans, which began the Jewish diaspora.
I just wonder who will give the president of the United States that history lesson? AIPAC? ZOA? It certainly won’t come from J Street or Debbie Wasserman-Schultz or Ted Deutch. I would be more than happy to do so before the United Nations — maybe one day I’ll get that chance.
However, the greater honor would be to state this before the Knesset and firmly pledge my support. Today, I will be speaking at a luncheon in Irving, Texas before over 200 pastors sponsored by Pastor John Hagee’s organization Christians United for Israel (CUFI). And why is this the time to make this stand?
Simply, as it states in the Bible, Genesis 12:2-3 (NIV), “And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
That is pretty self-explanatory if you ask me. And that message couldn’t’ come at a more dire time.
As reported by The UK Times, “Iran is close to putting its forces on Israel’s northeast border for the first time, as its allies crush rebel groups in the Golan Heights area of Syria. The prospect of Iranian troops being posted on a frontier that has been calm for decades is causing alarm for Israel, and comes as international negotiations over Iran’s nuclear ambitions near a climax within the next 48 hours.”
“Iran will be so close to the Israelis that it will no longer need long-range missiles to hit them”, said Abu Ali, a fighter with Lebanon’s Iranian-backed Hezbollah organization who has served multiple combat tours in Syria.”
Now, I would tend to believe this is why President Obama’s efforts to undermine Prime Minister Netayahu’s election bid failed. Unlike the American people who are too busy with iPads, iPhones, and reality TV — the Israeli people know that high rent prices mean nothing if you are dead. The Israeli people know how dangerous their neighborhood is, and realize they need a strong leader who will honor the words, “never again.”
Let’s not fool ourselves, it was the Obama administration who threatened to cut off Hellfire missile support — used by Israeli attack helicopters — during the last conflagration with Hamas.
Can you imagine living in a country where you have an enemy to the south that has as its charter your destruction? And now, to your north and northeast you have another proxy Army force, Hezbollah, closing in on your border? And how did the Obama administration just two weeks ago deal with Iran and Hezbollah? Why, they were removed from the terrorist list.
Now, I can easily explain why American blacks are enthralled by the leftist liberal progressives of the Democrat party — it is the addictive crack cocaine of government dependency and the opium of the welfare nanny-state that has destroyed the black family and our inner cities.
I do pray, as Steven A. Smith stated recently at Vanderbilt University, that blacks will vote Republican and not just be tools of the liberal left.
But I must ask, what will it take for the American Jewish community to remove their collective heads from their “fourth point of contact” and recognize that this complicit anti-Semitic leftist progressive socialist Democrat party led by one President Barack Obama has abandoned Israel?
Perhaps that is fine by y’all — but not for me. As a Christian, one of the greatest experiences in my life was to set foot in the Holy Land, where my personal salvation was born, and died…but in this Holy Week, rose again.
I remember the day when my wife Angela took off her shoes and walked into the Sea of Galilee. My eyes welled up as I watched this daughter of Jamaican immigrants — legal mind you — weep openly as she bent down and touched the waters just as Jesus had done. I want my two daughters to have that same experience. However, that is not the experience that ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, Fatah, or Al Aqsa Martyrs brigade have for their children.
And sadly, it would seem that President Barack Obama doesn’t have the same hope for his two daughters, based on his actions. I will not allow ANYONE to take away the hope and dream I have for Aubrey and Austen to set foot in the Sea of Galilee and walk the streets of Jerusalem and visit Bethlehem — where sadly the Christian community is dwindling — so much for tolerance and coexistence.
The barbarians are indeed at the gate, but there are also traitors within our ranks. If Barack Obama goes to the U.N. Security Council and drops the veto support for the two-state solution — I believe we will see the latter enable the former.
If that is the case, the promise of almighty God to Abram, who became Abraham, the father of a great nation, will come to fruition for America. And I am not for allowing America to lose its blessings.
And just in case you were wondering about that promise for Abraham’s seed born of Hagar, Ishmael, turn to Genesis 16:11-12 (NIV), “The angel of the LORD said to her further, “Behold, you are with child, And you will bear a son; And you shall call his name Ishmael, Because the LORD has given heed to your affliction. “He will be a wild donkey of a man, His hand will be against everyone, And everyone’s hand will be against him; And he will live to the east of all his brothers.”
Hmm, seemingly prophetic.
