50 shades of brown: New book shatters stereotypes about Hispanics and conservatism

We are in a perpetual state of identity politics as the progressive socialist left prefers to divide and conquer American along collective lines of race, gender, income and behavior, because the left doesn’t see us as individual Americans endowed with the certain unalienable rights from our Creator of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Instead liberal progressives embrace the concept of a government guarantee of happiness. I’ve personally witnessed the left’s divisive exploits advocating the welfare nanny-state and the adverse effects it has had in the black community.

And now the left is fully turning its sights on the Hispanic community. Conservative blogger and friend, Javier Manjarres, has begun sounding the clarion call for his community in his new book, Brown People: Hispanic Politics in the Disunited State of Amigos.

Javier’s book is a must read if we want to become aware of the goals and objectives the progressive left has in store for the Hispanic community – extending their dependency society.

Javier’s book isn’t about “outreach,” it’s about policy inclusiveness and the recognition that constitutional conservative values such as faith, family, freedom, education, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance are in alignment with the values of the Hispanic community. Javier’s book clearly reminds us of that fact.

Frankly, these are the same values embraced by the black community, as I wrote about in my own book, Guardian of the Republic.

We are all more unified than the left would have us believe. We cannot allow them to divide us.

Javier’s book is funny and incisive. I hope you’ll give it a read.

Thanks, LtCol West. I would love to read what this American with Hispanic roots, as myself, has to say. “Hispanic” is not a race, it is a culture. There are all sorts of races in Hispanic countries. Latino, don’t even get me started on that, is an even broader universe, that includes countries like Romania, Portugal, Italy, France, Spain and most countries in South and Central America. Most of them came to America fleeing failed (Read “Regular”) socialist and communist run countries with ravaged economies. The last thing they want is a re-play and nowhere else to go. Explain them… Read more »

I believe the hispanics are good people, hard working, and are christians of catholic faith. But then they want to bring more muslims over here (syrians). I rather have the hsipanics here anyday then syrians. At least they won’t blow us up.

Hey, Ruckus Blah Blah, why don’t you add some intelligent constructive comments to the argument instead all you ever do is your usual Blah Blah Blah.

Thank you Col West for the heads up on this great book, it’s funny and ironic that people want to call you a hypocrite and yet we have the Divider-in-Chief in the white house (what a joke). BTW, you are right, the Dems are the ENEMY – enemies of freedom and morality (for crying out loud they voted God off their platform and then forced him back in – what an embarrassment!) any way Col, keep up the good work!

BTW, you are right, the Dems are the ENEMY – enemies of freedom and morality (for crying out loud they voted God off their platform and then only added Him back because they weren’t sure what to do – embarrassing!) any way Col, keep up the good work!

Funny how American group all Latinos together and have no idea Puerto Ricans are American citizens. Or Cubans have a sweetheart immigration deal. To make it worse, those Cubans who claim liberty and freedom, get their green card almost immediately, go back to the island with suitcases full of goodies for their relatives on the island to sell.

What’s wrong with that?… shows that capitalism works AND what luxuries WE have to the people there. Maybe when the time comes they will fight harder to get rid of their dictatorship.

Their sweetheart immigration deal goes to those who want to escape communism, these people go back in. It’s an abuse.
Plus, capitalism has nothing to do with freedom. american capitalism is all over China( human rights violations), Africa ( blood diamond), Mid East ( women’s abuses) and nobody cares.

There are good & bad issues with every ISM…But I’ll take it over any other. Capitalism has NOTHING to do with Human rights issues. You can have capitalism WITHOUT abuses. That’s a problem with the home country..WE have ti and the Unions are GOOD at protecting the worker AND lining the leaders pockets, like any Good Progressive/socialist would.

Capitalism supports evil governments. Look the other way while workers get abused. Unsafe work environments, child labor, low wages.
Unions are the backbone to this country. They keep big business from rolling over their workers. There are people who cheat, but as YOU put it, ” there are good and bad” . Obviously you have never Incountered issues that kept you from doing your best at work. Where do workers go for help? For representation?
Wake up!!!

And what country would you approve of???? Unions started out for good, now they are thugs who bully companies while ling their pockets. DO you know how long it takes for a worker to catch up with the wages lost in a strike??? I was a grocery clerk and HATED HAVING to pay dues. Iwant to give MY $$ to whomever I wish to NOT to who a union goon boss wants to give it to. You’re a Liberal who wants free choice as longs as it’s the choice YOU think is right. If it’s not that choice then I… Read more »

If the company treated their workers fairly, that worker would have had to strike. How much money would he have lost if they didn’t strike. ???
I donMt know many unions where you have to join. Mine is open. Answer the question- where do you go to protect yourself from unfair treatment at work?

My husband is in the contraction business and the WORST workers have been the union ones…They work SLOW and are dirty with there trash. It’s NOT their job to pick it up, that’s the janitors job. A car assembly line worker while earning his $50.00 an hr, goes out at lunch drinks beer and smokes a joint because they know they can’t be fired. A teacher puts his sperm on a cookie and feeds it to 6 yr olds. WHY?? because he gets to retire with FULL benefits AND no prosecution. Take your commie ideas and MOVE to a communist… Read more »

I can’t help the fact your husband’s work picked terrible workers. It’s not anyone’s fault they can’t stand up for themselves.
Why bring up the handful of situations where something goes wrong and claim it’s always like this? Why not bring up the thousands of people whom unions helped?
Finally, why should I leave? All you did was yap about Obama, commies, dems ruining this country. . I don’t see YOU leaving. I didn’t ask you to leave.

My husband DIIDN’T pick horrible workers…they were UNION, therefore according to you they should be exceptional due to the protection and wages they get.
Unions have LOST THOUSANDS of members because MOST are onto the joke they have become….they served a place YEARS AGO…no more. A HANDFUL of claims????WHAT A JOKE. there’s a teacher in the news EVERY week molesting a minor

This is a waste of time for both of us. And BTW YOU NEVER DID answer my question…just pulled the Progressive Saul Alinsky rules…
Bye I’ll let you have the last word

Then your husband should have filed a grievance with the union and reported the terrible emplyees.
Teachers that molest kids go to jail, sweetie.
Please show me where your claim of low numbers for Union rnrollments is coming from …
I would gladly spend time with Alinsjy over you. At least he did something abt the issues he cared about. All you do is whine and make up stories.

What difference doses it make as to WHY????? …People DON”T want to be FORCED to pay dues. They were tired of THEIR $$ going to support political parties THEY don’t agree with.
They finally realized they could do more with their $$ than the unions were & they weren’t getting much for their money over the LONG term….much like the gov’t. (BOTH parties)

That’s not how u up a work, dear. As usually you people are so misinformed. And it does make a big difference why unions are in decline.
