Massive government cover-up? Obama border policy likely caused deadly virus epidemic

It’s becoming increasingly apparent President Barack Hussein Obama will eschew our constitutional system of separation of powers and coequal branches of government to implement immigration reform by executive order — completely unconstitutional and represents rule by edict, not governance by rule of law.

This isn’t just bad policy, it’s a complete violation of policy due to abject belligerence and tyrannical rule. However, it wasn’t too long ago I posed a question — what if the Obama administration policy of allowing an influx of tens of thousands of illegal immigrants into America this summer and subsequently dispersing them was related to the mysterious respiratory illness afflicting American children — known as the Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) – in effect a form of biological warfare?

Of course, yours truly was pummeled by those who just don’t want anything to be questioned — even if it’s a policy that has led to the deaths of American children.

This week, Judicial Watch reported, “The “humanitarian crisis” concocted by President Obama to let tens of thousands of illegal immigrant minors stay in the U.S. has fueled a deadly respiratory virus epidemic that’s struck American kids across the country and killed at least nine. Virtually nonexistent in the U.S. before the recent influx of illegal alien minors, the lethal Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) is associated with severe respiratory illness and is known to come from Central America. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from mid-August to the end of October state public health laboratories have confirmed a total of 1,105 people in 47 states and the District of Columbia with respiratory illness caused by EV-D68. What the agency conveniently omits is that the deadly virus was first discovered in cities with large numbers of relocated illegal immigrant minors, officially identified by the government as Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC).”

I’m utterly amazed by the media’s complete lack of coverage on this. And in the case of a possible executive amnesty order, this issue takes on a whole new meaning — a policy that has resulted in spreading an epidemic across our country. It’s as if we’re being distracted by the “Ebola crisis” while we’re not heeding what’s happening to our children.

Here are the facts not being promulgated.

Judicial Watch writes, “The EV-D68 epidemic coincides with the barrage of Central American minors that entered the U.S. through Mexico over the summer. Hundreds of American kids have been sent to hospital emergency rooms in more than 40 states with unprecedented polio-like paralysis associated with EV-D68. By September 8 hospitals in a dozen states were reporting cases of EV-D68-like infections and by mid-September 153 patients were confirmed as having the virus in 18 states, the news site reports. By October 538 victims-mostly young children-were confirmed to have EV-D68 in 43 states, according to information provided by the CDC, and by the end of the month confirmed infections reached 998. That’s 300 times the infection rate during a period that spanned more than three decades, from 1970 to 2003.”

Over at the Daily Caller, they’ve postulated on the issue of relating this epidemic to the Obama open border policy saying, “The question can be settled if federal researchers study the genetic fingerprint of the EV-D68 viruses that first hit kids in Colorado, Missouri and Illinois to see if they are close relatives to the EV-D68 viruses found in Central America. Officials ”have to do the genetic analysis” to disprove or prove the link, Nora Chapman, an enterovirus scientist at the University of Nebraska, told The Daily Caller.”

This topic represents a huge elephant in the room that health specialists don’t want to discuss. The Daily Caller says, “a series of government researchers, health experts and academics refused to comment, or else urged self-censorship, when they were pressed for statistical and scientific data that would exonerate Obama and his deputies. “I would just steer away from that— it is not helpful, so why bring it up,” said Lone Simonsen, a professor at George Washington University’s Department of Global Health and the research director of the university’s Global Epidemiology Program. “A better angle [is] ‘We’re just learning what this outbreak is all about,’” she told The DC. Columbia University researcher Rafal Tokarz, one of the nation’s top experts on the EV-D68 virus, declined to comment to TheDC about the impact of Obama’s border policies. “I cannot comment… and at this time it would not be appropriate for me to do so… I would really rather not comment,” he said in email conversations.”

Could this truly be a massive cover up by our own government — while our own children who are being sickened? Why not do the genetic analysis and confirm or deny the originating point for this current EV-D68 virus? Can this be just another instance of politics overriding policy in America? Failure to rectify this situation through genetic analysis only spurs on the growing mistrust of the Obama administration — and this is a valid inquiry, not “tin foil hat” speculation – isn’t the health of our own children worth resolving this issue?

Or can it be that no one wants a “panic” moment at a time when it seems the president wants to push amnesty — and who approved the dispersion of these UACs across our country in the first place? Shouldn’t they have been quarantined, checked for health issues and possibly vaccinated?

We’re so focused on the Ebola issue and while the EV-D68 virus is far less dangerous than Ebola, it also may be harder to counter because it has now spread throughout the United States. There is no vaccine for EV-D68, so health experts expect more victims.

So just look at the picture of Jayden Broadway, 9, who was diagnosed with EV-D68 in early October. Is this what we have become in America?

This is shameful.

Okay, who doesn’t know where this virus came from, anyone, anyone???? That’s what I thought. If you raised your hand you are dismissed from this discussion until you learn to read, or at least listen and comprehend intelligent conversation.

Epidemiologists call it the Honduras flu because that is where it originated, call it that instead of Entirovirus

My whole question is what are we the people going to do. I have screamed and hollered but to no avail and I can’t do it alone. Why aren’t these sites pouring this kind of info to lets say Hannity or O’reilly or Megan Kelly or Sustren.

Been wondering the same thing. Unlike Col West, maybe they fear too much.

I am on page 77 of Sharyl Attkinsson’s new book. Based on what I have read so far the government is not being truthful and is using it’s power to stop the media from reporting the truth. I will never give the government the benefit of the doubt ever again.

I bet Allen West looked pretty silly typing this up while wearing a tin foil hat.

“Not near as silly as you pea brain imagines .”

It’s amusing to be called an idiot by someone who writes like this. You should have a blog, too.

That’s OK Gail some folks can only pick on minor typos or grammatical errors. They seem to think notes on FB should be constructed like a formal paper. Hard to fathom how anyone who cares about their country can be a liberal Democrat! They have to be ignorant of what the party stands for, (or for what the Party stands) for those who insist on no prepositions at the end of the sentence! lol

GaylePutt

Right..,. a preposition is something you shouldn’t end a sentence with.

Just another lame brain liberal out on the prowl ! They could take off those free Obama glasses BUT they love them because they can’t see a darn thing out of them and the love it that way ! Kudos John Graybeal .

Those who have something of importance to add to a conversation do .Those who have nothing to add ( like liberals ) drag out their old worn out correcting pencil and hut for a flaw to correct . They miss the whole point of the message but get to feel superior about themselves ….like their messiah Obama .

JMHunt

Give us a break with the whole, “you’re bringing down the level of conversation” routine. Your post was: “Not near as silly as you pea brain imagines .What’s REALLY silly is the delusional idiot named JMHunt.”

Perhaps you feel ^ that rivals Shakespeare, but it doesn’t. I make plenty of grammatical errors myself, no big deal; I was simply pointing out the irony of using such a poorly written sentence to call someone an idiot. You can relax, I don’t know you, I don’t actually think you’re stupid.

GaylePutt

Typical liberal ploy….redirection. Move the “debate” away from the issue to something totally insignificant. JMHunt….tell us why you believe that the issue of which Col. West writes is silly. Tell us why you believe the correlation between the enterovirus and Obama’s open borders is bogus?

JMHunt

Why do I believe this article is silly? Good god, the question should be: why do you take it seriously?

GaylePutt
Guest

I’d rather take it seriously and be wrong than ignore it and get sick. It’s always smarter to err on the side of caution.

JMHunt
Guest

Right, you should take the disease serious. You should error on the side of caution when it comes to disease. West’s article is about politics, not caution. The premise is ridiculous.

Andy Martin

Then why do you care so much?

JMHunt

Don’t worry about, no one is addressing you.

GaylePutt

There you go again, JMHunt…another diversion. I asked you a reasonable question. If you’re going to make such a silly statement then you need to be able to back it up, I don’t believe anyone has conclusively determined the cause of this outbreak and until they do, I think it’s a reasonable assumption that the increase in cases from practically none to so many could be due in part to the influx of ill, illegal children. The two cities (Kansas City and Chicago) hardest hit by this virus happen to have higher numbers of these children living there. Coincidence? Maybe.… Read more »

It’s reasonable to you because you’ve accepted the premise of the article. I find it silly because I know what the article is, a load of political bs designed to incite fear. Where is the coincidence that you refer to? The only coincidence is the one West is selling. Central American minors have been coming here illegally for years. “The EV-D68 epidemic coincides with the barrage of Central American minors that entered the U.S. through Mexico over the summer.” Which is untrue. The “barrage” of Central American minors began in 2011. The rate at which it has been increasing has… Read more »

You mean ‘post’, right? I said talk and I meant talk. Unlike others, I post the way I talk. Now how’s that?

If you don;t care about my thoughts, ignore them.

Hate to break it to you, buddy, but that doesnt make you unique. I feel sorry for you if you actually talk to people in the same manner that you’ve been posting.

Save the pity for yourself ‘buddy’. If you or anyone else wish to approach me with a mouthful of snark or attitude, you’ll get it in return. That’s how real life works. Snide prix like you have this sanctimony about themselves whereas
they feel the rules they lay out for others are not applicable to them.

Bringing people, diseases, hiding these people, refusing to disclose this information to the American citizens, releasing prisoners who are enemy combatants, forcing healthcare purchase on citizens who never wanted it, exchanging a trader for 5 enemy soldiers, reducing our military making our country venerable, using the IRS against our citizens, turning on our allies, causing racial strife and bigotry among our citizenry, the list goes on and on. And the Republicans tend not to blow this “trumpet” of facts. This should have been the running commercial for every Republican running this past election, would that have made the difference in VA?

I try to see the good in people but, to this day I still cannot forget how the hair on the back of my neck stood up when obama said he was going to fundamentally transform America. Everything about the guy is the definition of “nefarious”.

Col West, thanks again!

Please tell me that the people in power (outside of the Obama influence) know about this stuff? It seems like no one will stand up to this crap the administration is dumping on our country. It just keeps going on and on. Someone needs to rein in this pathetic President.

I had already drawn the same conclusion as Judicial Watch as soon as the first reports came out. Study History and you know you should expect an introduction of new diseases with mass arrivals of immigrants. Ellis Island knew this when they required a medical exam before releasing immigrants into the community. Obama knew this as well, just like this so called professor of our constitution knows our constitution and has completely disregarded it, I expect the same from King Obama on this issue. As for a cover up, isn’t that what this whole administration has been about?
