Illegal immigration in America is a multi-headed hydra. It affects our economy, education system, healthcare system, national security, and daily local criminality. It’s tough to feel “compassionate” about crime – and particularly murder
As reported by Fox News, “Two illegal immigrants from Mexico who were charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of off-duty U.S. Border Patrol agent, Javier Vega Jr., in front of his family in Texas have been arrested and deported numerous times, police sources said. One suspect has been arrested no fewer than four times for entering the U.S. illegally, according to federal court records. The other has been deported twice after entering the U.S. illegally, sources said.
And who was it that said our border is as secure as it has even been? Yes, Senate Majority Leader, Democrat Harry Reid – and that’s just one of many reasons why he doesn’t deserve to be Majority Leader in the U.S. Senate next year.
And to those who say we should just grant amnesty and citizenship to those who have come here illegally — I say no! How can we believe anyone will have allegiance to a country as a citizen when their initial act of entering our Republic was a disrespect of our rule of law?
The sad thing is I suppose we will now waste taxpayer resources on a trial, probably appeals and a lengthy incarceration. I know there will be criticism of me for being angry about extending our constitutional rights to illegal aliens and terrorists, but I don’t care.
Agent Vega was gunned down in front of his family by these animals and I don’t have compassion for two-legged animals.
When asked how the suspects reacted when they learned the victim was a Border Patrol agent, Sheriff Spence said, “shock and concern.” Santa Monica Sheriff Larry Spence said the two suspects were likely connected to cartels or other criminal gangs. “They claim to have been involved in other incidents, this means you’ve got stolen vehicles going into Mexico,” he said.
We are at the point where the United States is going to have to contend with the Mexican drug cartels one way or the other. The Mexican government certainly isn’t, actually seems to be turning a blind eye, enabling the transnational criminal organizations to thrive and undermine the sovereignty of the United States. Furthermore, the drug cartels are collaborating with Islamic terrorists in providing safe passage and illegal entry into America. So add another enemy into the bag, right along with IS, except this enemy is right on the border — and may enable the other to be as well.
The murder of U.S. Border Patrol agent Javier Vega Jr. is a sad loss, but it is part and parcel of a greater crime being perpetrated against our beloved Republic.
