Obama’s 40 alarming quotes about Islam and Christianity

Over the past week, we’ve shared the blessings and remembrances of Passover and Easter. Of course this is a very special time of reflection for Jews and Christians. And in America, there cannot be any debate that this nation was founded upon a Judeo-Christian faith heritage — notice I did not say religion.

And so it was yesterday afternoon that I came across a very interesting piece written on April 17th by Thomas Lifson in the American Thinker that I’d like to share. It’s a comparative listing of 40 quotes from President Barack Hussein Obama, 20 each on Islam and Christianity from a blog called Now the End Begins.

As Lifson states, “Collectively, (the quotes) create quite an interesting picture. I admit that there may be instances of the president speaking as favorably of Christianity as he does of Islam, but I am not aware of them. I do remember in the 2008 campaign that he said he had accepted Jesus Christ as his savior, and that was in response to public awareness of his attendance at Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s church, Trinity United. What the president left unsaid is the nature of Jesus as understood in Black Liberation Theology.”

Here are the first five about Islam:

#1 “The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam”

#2 “The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer”

future-must-not-belong-to-those-who-slander-prophet-islam-mohammad-barack-hussein-obama-muslim

#3 “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world — including in my own country.”

#4 “As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam.”

#5 “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”

#6 “Islam has always been part of America”

You can read the full list here.

I am offering no commentary other than this: I don’t recall anywhere in my Sunday school studies or Biblical teachings any story of Isra where Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed joined in heaven in prayer. But this is how we can be easily co-opted into believing something if we fail to understand our own faith and actual history. I read all the quotes several times and remember when many of them were spoken.

In my assessment, there is a very clear and evident bias, and when combined with certain actions — as in Libya, Egypt, and towards Israel — well, you assess for yourself. Be an American Thinker. And then be a Guardian of the Republic.

  1. America has lost it’s way and it’s mind. 100 years of creeping socialism has made it’s mark. Mr. West is the first, truly noble man to come to Washington since our beloved President Reagan. If our country and our world are to be saved it will only be because of men that live from a Christ within them like PM Netanyahu and Mr West. The 3-5 billion Communist and Muslim sympathetic ideologues of the world, many who think they are Americans, like our current Administration in DC which is really a criminal enterprise, are gathering a threat against freedom, family, common sense loving people of the world. Being good people is not going to be good enough. Men must rise to be noble and fight for what is right and confront what is wrong just as fervently 24/7. Allen West 2016

    • Mr. Netanyahu is Jewish, so I doubt he has Christ within him, unless he’s a Messianic Jew (which would be great). I highly respect him as a world leader. The current administration has really let Israel down!

      • Thank you for your input, Jim. I believe that the Old Testament Patriarchs and mystics like Abraham, Moses, David, Ezekiel, etc had a “Christ” in them as well. They all lived from the Light of God within. There is a difference between ‘good’ or ‘nice’ men like Mitt Romney and a righteous man like President Reagan or PM Netanyahu but to the passive there is not. Mitt is a very good and nice man, but he is a Ronald Reagan knock off and not truly authentic.

      • I also think by this time in his life, PM Netanyahu has fully realized who it is that has been following him around all of his life and like President Reagan has kept his personal common sense/faith a secret verbally but lives it out as an example of nobility.

  2. Obama is a Muslim, Why is this something that the Liberals deny. It’s all lies about Obama. His whole life is a fraud

      • Robin, I didn’t mention Rev Wright so I don’t get your humor.Maybe you should learn to read better

      • You didn’t mention Rev Wright, because it doesn’t fit your lies, little guy…

        LMAO !

Maybe, you should learn honesty, especially after Easter.

      • Listen if you were a guy I would give you an earful. I ddidn’t mention Wright. If i did i would mention the down low club that Wright had for gay blacks.thats how Obama met Michelle and if you go on youtube /Michelle Obama is a man you will at least have some knowledge to give

      • If you meant “read”, that would make you seems less moronic, but U-tube nonsense is childish….so, you lose again.

      • For a girl you are nasty. Youtube for children??? your so far off base. I’m done with you.Your a waste of time and energy. go back to work at your lemon aide stand

      • So how long have you had this inferiority complex? Your low self-esteem is as obvious as the noon day sun on a cloudless day. You should really seek help.

      • They are only moronic to you, because you cannot bear the thought that you aren’t that intelligent, that you aren’t as well put together as you imagine, In short you are a legend in your own mind

      • Most of your replies ar insults to the previous post with nothing to prove any point. I, as of now, stop reading anything you post.

        Twit!

      • You may experience an spiritual (perhaps even religious) experience with those suppositories. They are made with a combination of Obama, Pelosi and Harry Reed’s crap.

      • They don’t teach that in Common Core courses. They are taught to estimate and do approximations.

      • I read some of your other quotes Robin, you sound like a broken record ,Baggers, Faux. Those quotes are a couple years old . You have nothing original to say so say it somewhere else

      • Take a minute to do a tad of research on the ties that bind The Nation of Islam (Louis Farrakhan)) & Black Liberation Theology (Reverand Wright). Keep on LYAO. Ignorance is bliss. If I could only be that blissful.

      • If Ignorance is bliss you are the happiest man on the planet. You obviously never read what you type.

      • You need to meet or read the decent and honest black men and women. Dr. Ben Carson, Colin Powell, Clarence Thomas, Allan West, Tim Scott, Herman Cain, Condoleeza Rice? But the turdheads only want to listen and associate with the scum like Pinocchio Obama, Holder, Cummins, etc.

      • Deflecting is all you’ve got. No one free of desperate intent or flawed logic could possibly equate my linking Rev Wright to the Nation of Islam as an attempt to deny a person their individuality by clumping them all together.

Obama set in the pews worshiping Rev Wright’s Islamic inspired interpretation of Black Liberation Theology for two decades. That is fact, not a bigoted or racist opinion that you allude I harbor.

No, all black Americans are not alike. Protestant churches abhor and condemn the teachings of this violently racist, separatist theology. Surely you are well aware that there is a very large number of black Americans on the member rolls of that congregation.

Please continue to twist and obfuscate the truth & sling hateful fodder. Your lack of credibility is revealed with every inane & divisive comment you post.

      • Is that what happened or is that what you need to believe to fit your narrow preconceptions…

IF that’s what happened, EXACTLY HOW has it been manifested ?

Devil is in the details, dear.

      • More deflection? Really? A simple research session will support my assertion. “Exactly how” has it been manifested? Lol, another deflection trap. We’ll just let our audience follow up with their own research & come to their own conclusions. Rome is burning & you’re tossing lit matches. You will not be graced with another response from me. Good day.

      • Appreciate your candor, but you haven’t written anything intelligent so far, now have you ???

Do YOUR research, then return & apologize, OK ?

      • Progressives…never look back (“a couple years old”) and see the consequences of their destructive ways.

      • You mean like Trayvon Martin, where barry and holder tried to divide race and incite racial violence?
“if I had a son he would look like Trayvon” Race bait much barry? Your bigotry knows no bounds

      • the more you spew your dumb rhetoric, the more childish you seem. grow up little boy. your Mother will be a man before you

      • Those quotes were PUBLIC statements made by Obama on TV, so don’t express your profound ignorance and stupidity and lie like a dog to your betters.

  3. “The future most not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”
    Taken out of context much?!
This comment was part of a speech the president made at the UN General Assembly on Sept. 25, 2012.
Stirring the pot of hate accomplishes nothing.

    • Every quote is taken out of context. What’s your point? “Stirring the pot of hate” accomplishes Obama’s agenda.

  4. number 4…we are in debt to the Muslim world by paying ransoms and appeasement since the start of our country. Barbary Pirates to today. Peace in the Middle East would mean they would lose billions of dollars a year.#3 Yes it shaped things on how we deal with them, basically after Jefferson, our country went back to paying their ransoms and appeasement money, as did many other countries. #5..Killing those who do not convert to Islam and to kill those who convert from Islam is not tolerant.

    • “Islam has always been part of America” – want to clarify this one… we have fought the Barbary coast pirates (islamists) since our independence. Why do you think its in the USMC hymn?

  5. “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

      • Really? Please post links to speeches and actual commentary (not the made up crap the wrong nutters spew like this page has), where Obama has ACTUALLY done so…I would love to see it.

Please, put your money where your foot is but take it out of your mouth first!

    • And what, pray tell, does he consider “slander” of the prophet? Maybe falsely accusing a Muslim video of being the cause of violence? Oh wait, that wasn’t a Muslim video, was it? It was nothing more than satire, yet Caesar Obamus was more than happy to falsely blame its makers for 4 murders. That is the definition of defamation of character.

The future will not belong to liars and deceivers.

      • LMAO !

The baggers cry Benghazi & the “actual terrorists” breathe a sigh of relief….

I remember hearing “terrorist acts”, but clearly you were Fauxed Up at that time…

        LMAO !

Morons arguing semantics & the killers are as free as Bin laden under Bush…

        LMAO !

      • LMAO!!!

And the Koolaid drinking, brainwashed dims cry racism and the actual issueS get swept under the rug!!

Idiots using smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that the enemy is already within.

        LMAO!!!

      • LMAO !

        LMAO !

Morons arguing semantics & the killers are as free as Bin laden under Bush…

        LMAO !

      • typical of a loser troll. Nothing worthy to say. You cannot think for yourself you run out of original material so all you can do is parrot yourself

      • LMAO … those terrorists sit at cafes in Libya without a single concern that Obama’s “promise” will be kept.

Obama:”But my biggest priority now is bringing those folks to justice and I think the American people have seen that’s a commitment I’ll always keep.”

And you can keep your doctor too!

      • Yep he was laughing when hillary abandoned by his word the four in Benghazi. Disappeared in the depths of the White House so he could do Reggie and some Coke. Everyone is covering for barry and his illegal gun trade to Syria, Not Assad mind you but AL Qaeda. If you didn’t know or realize it, that is a treasonous offence. However by Executive Order barry took a clause out of the law which allows him to give aid and comfort to our enemies. All the while taking our rights and liberties away. He hands over ATGM’s and AA missiles, fully automatic weapons and yet he tries hard to take away your 2nd Amendment rights. Yep that is a real laughing matter. When he crashes the dollar and riots start up you better be wearing body armor, because the DHS will be gunning down everyone and anyone

      • the following is taken from the link provided in response to the 1st quote by ellowe13.

“Let us remember that Muslims have suffered the most at the hands of extremism. On the same day our civilians were killed in Benghazi, a Turkish police officer was murdered in Istanbul only days before his wedding; more than 10 Yemenis were killed in a car bomb in Sana’a; several Afghan children were mourned by their parents just days after they were killed by a suicide bomber in Kabul.”

The president is the one who has stirred up the pot of hate, by making such comments as the 1st one on the list and this one; among others. Carefully read the speech, he favors the mulsims and will not see America, Chritianity or it’s citizens in a favorable light. That shows his heart,,, and the heart is very deceitful and wicked.

      • If there is one thing we have learned about Obama, it is that he is a master of camouflaging his Muslim faith in any and every way possible, and the fact that he uttered the words is enough. Discard the rest of the sentence which will give him the cover to claim he was taken out of context, and you get the real Obama.

    • So, you’re in favor of the gov’t determining blasphemy? What other parts of the First Amendment would you re-write?

      • What delusional part of your brain did that come from?
First of all the government isn’t rewriting the First Amendment and it’s also not determining blasphemy….geesh, where DO you people come up with this garbage?!

      • Sheesh, what does this mean?

“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

Why should Obama give a rat’s patootie who “slanders” the “profit”?

      • Why shouldn’t he? Caring about who slanders the prophet of Islam is no different than caring about who slanders the prophet of Hinduism or Buddhism or Christianity.

Those that would do so are extremists and a threat to all society. And the people that Obama is talking about ARE the extremists not the everyday law abiding citizens practising their particular faith. If you had taken the time to actually read the speech instead of jumping on the mob mentality bandwagon of condemnation, you might have realized that.

The following is the actual quote, not the cherry picked one Mr. West felt the need to misrepresent…
“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. But to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see in the images of Jesus Christ that are desecrated, or churches that are destroyed, or the Holocaust that is denied.”
NOW do you get it?! Probably not. (big sigh)

The sad thing about all of this is…not one of you here, who thinks or has made a derogatory remark about the Muslim religion does so from a place of authority or education. All of your remarks are based on mis-information you heard on some teabaggers blog or Faux Not News along with the likes of Limpbag and Hannity and Aleen West included…whose sole purpose in life it to stir the pot of hatred and make money doing it….all at YOUR expense.

      • “Why shouldn’t he? Caring about who slanders the prophet of Islam is no different than caring about who slanders the prophet of Hinduism or Buddhism or Christianity.:”

Caring? Oh, so he caaaares, that makes it all better, is that right? Should he do anything about it? If not, what’s the point of caring?

“jumping on the mob mentality bandwagon”

LOL, and here you are defending Obama on his bandwagon.

As for your context, WOW!, it is laughable. You & Obama are equating burning down buildings and the denial of the Holocaust with slander? Really?

“All of your remarks are based on mis-information”

        Quote me toad.

      • You’re the one who asked the question as to why Obama should care, I just tried to fill in the blanks for you. As I said, you don’t get it…perhaps it’s your lack of reading comprehension skills…people with your type of thinking…and I use the term loosely…seem to lack those basic skills…so sad.

      • Stuff it, Obama defends Islam meanwhile never said a dang thing about Federal taxes going to Andre Serrano.

Sad? That’s the hypocrite Obama and his [p]sycophants.

      • LOL…poor little sad boy, you will forever be stuck in place while the rest of the world passes you by. You have nothing worthwhile to say or contribute to the conversation, just a bunch of spitting and sputtering…you can’t even stay focused on the original conversation but instead wander aimlessly grasping at straws, trying in vain to change direction by bringing totally unrelated information into the conversation.

You are like the rest of your little sheep, unable to come to terms with the fact that you are incorrect, even when someone takes you by the hand and presents real facts and information instead of rhetoric, not to mention being able to do so without name calling…unlike you.

You really should have stayed in school and taken advantage of that free education system, that the red state you live in is so proud of. Run along now, no one cares what you have to say since you have nothing to say.

      • LOL, nothing but ad hominem? Really? From such an obviously educated person as yourself?

BTW, Ms. Omniscient I am from NJ.

      • What? Thought you’d said you knew where I was from?

LOL … another Obama [p] sycophant without half the wit she believes she has, hysterical hypocrite.

      • Sounds to me like you’re suffering from paranoid delusions…you might want to see a doc about that.

I’m not worried about the DHS shooting at me…I’m not breaking the law or doing anything I need to be worried about. But I can certainly understand why you might be.

  6. Sir, I do not believe that Mr. Obama is a ‘secret Muslim’ or has any special loyalty to it. Neither is he a Christian, Jew, Buddhist or anything else. Even Black. I believe that these are only special interest voting blocks that he may exploit in one way or another.
The only thing that has been a constant in his life and has held over time is his unwavering devotion to the Communist/Socialist ideology. He learned this at the knee of hie grandfather and has never abandoned it. It is the ideology at his core.

  7. As the 1st islamist POTUS, he got it all confused because he learned this propaganda from the muzzies…. we are the ‘bearer of the cross” which is why there’s a big target on the USA.

  8. Way out of context. He was stating that terrorists who claim to be doing the work of Islam by making jihad are slandering the profit and should not be rewarded for their actions. I am against a lot of what Obama does but misleading comments taken out of context do nothing to forward the debate.

    • “slandering the profit”
      “Profit” = financial gain.
In a nutshell, probably exactly what those who don’t know Jesus Christ are all about.

  9. Call it Islam, New Age, Secular Humanism or whatever; it is still evil. It goes against the teachings of God. It is quite clear that anything found in the Word of God is completely foreign to Barack Obama.

  10. “The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam”
What makes this one sooooo disturbing is that it is essentially a threat.
Saying someone does not get to have a “future” is essentially saying “kill them!”
Taking away someones future is why the death penalty is the ultimate punishmnet in our criminal just system.
So you have the President of the United States affirming the views of the islamists that those who critic islam must be killed.
    Truly Horrifying!

  11. It’s been quite clear to me from the beginning where his loyalties are. If we could fast forward 20 years maybe we could then see who the heck this man was. We had never heard of him until John Kerry’s nomination convention. And, even though hardly anybody had ever heard of him, he had written two books about himself! And, supposedly, those books sold so well that he became a millionaire. We may never know the forces that promoted him but we will forever know the destruction that his administration wrought to our republic. We cannot trust leadership of America to just anybody that comes along and makes a good speech.

  12. The problem with the O’media being in the bag for this feckless clown is that he is never forced to defend any of his shovel-ready rhetoric. Regarding #1 above, why has Jay Maddow-Carney never been asked for an example of what the POTUS has in mind regarding slander of the prophet.

  13. THERE WERE WARNING CRIES BY THOSE WHO WERE HATED, VILIFIED AND SHOUTED DOWN. WE SEE NOW …IN HINDSIGHT! THE RUINS…SOCIETY NOW LIVES WITH CHAOS AND DISMANTLING OUR USA AS WE KNEW IT! GOD HELP US! N.

  14. The reason Obama was elected President has nothing to do with him at all. He was put there by the Dims to further their agenda. They knew he would draw in voters who had never voted, or those who had not voted in years.

He knows nothing about running a business much less a country. He is only the figurehead, the mascot shall we say, of the Democratic party. The funny thing about it is he doesn’t even know it!

The reason the entitlements( welfare, food stamps, WIC etc) are out of control is the building of a voter base (essentially buying votes) and nothing more. The Democrats have enslaved MILLIONS with their entitlements and the joke is on those taking it, as they are too brainwashed to even realize it!!!

    • Those welfare states are red, hon…

Probably on SSI yourself, which according to your party, makes you a “taker”.

      • LMAO !

Yep, on your “planet” the redneck racists, nanny staters like Bundy vote Obama, right ??

        CHORTLE !!!

      • Democrats began and run the KKK. So saying a democrat is racist is very correct, they just go about it differently now lol

      • You need to inform yourself on history, democrats were the party of the confederacy, Lincoln was the first republican, democrats vehemently opposed civil rights, dems voted against the 14th amendment, Lyndon B Johnson (democrat) is on record saying ” I’ll have those n1&&ers voting democrat for the next 200 years” , democrats were the party of the KKK, and no the parties did not switch. The conservative ideas are still with the conservative right. Dems just want to muddy up history to hide these facts

      • You’re referring to dead folks, right ??

        LMAO !

Yep, nothing to prove a point, that saying folks who are gone …are here ???

      • Hall of Famer Hank Aaron has been receiving racist letters following comments he made seemingly comparing Republicans that oppose President Barack Obama to the Ku Klux Klan.

The 80-year-old Aaron told USA Today Sports last week: “Sure, this country has a black president, but when you look at a black president, President Obama is left with his foot stuck in the mud from all of the
Republicans with the way he’s treated. We have moved in the right direction, and there have been improvements, but we still have a long ways to go. The bigger difference is back then they had hoods. Now they have neckties and starched shirts.”

Since the comments went viral, USA Today Sports reports that the Atlanta Braves front office has been deluged with racist letters and emails regarding Aaron.

      • Ok those are assumptions that they were from conservatives. Again no proof. And just because someone does not agree with his policies does not make them racist. To make that assumption in turn makes you racist. Was every black man in the country that disagreed with a white presidents policies racist? If you can’t say yes to the latter then the former is an assumption made on yours and theirs own racist mindset

      • You mean the guy who renounced 40 years ago & said

joining the Klan was his “greatest mistake”.

All ya gotta do is read the comments here, to see partisan racists…. TODAY !

      • projecting stupidity doesn’t become you. Deflecting on every post yet do not answer any point of topic typical of a loser troll

      • Sorry but SSI is paid into by the receiver. The true definition of entitlement. But welfare states are blue and the worst areas such as Detroit, Chicago, and Washington DC are very much blue and are disgusting cesspools.

      • So, you DON’T know the difference between states & cities, huh ???

        LMAO !

MY favorite part is your “party” hates unions, THAT WORK HARD & PAY CONSIDERABLE TAXES !!

Looks like a waste of time talking to you, bagger begger….

      • wow hand the one truly pathetic thing you don’t realize is that these are the epicenters of the failed liberal and democratic states they reside in but you point to semantics thus proving you are a retard of the highest order

      • LMAO !
Look at the dummy cover the moronic post !

Be sure & tell Bill Gates in liberal Wa, he’s broke, consewertative JOKE !

        LMAO!

I remember George RawMoney closing American Motors & doing an outsourcing deal with Renault…

        Yep, liberal RawMoney…

      • Wow you just are really not worth a squirt of pee. Obama sand his saving of this country is actually making this country go down fast. Unions are only interested in taking the money from the workers to give themselves a way to get rich without actually producing anything. I’ve seen a union start a strike for better wages but all workers wound up with a lower wage, but that union got their money though!!! If unions really did anything besides bullying and terrorism I’d be shocked

  15. This is probably not the President’s actual quote, but he must have been speaking a quote from another as a reference to something within the context of the current situation. Islam has always been part of America? There is insufficient data to support this claim.

  16. obama is an idiot. he can believe any history he wants. the bible is a history book also. it tells the storys of peoples lifes that god spoke to. it tells gods teachings. and if people can not understand that then they have mental issues. and how dare obama say islam is peaceful. screw him and the islamic sword he flew in on. obama needs to be impeached for bengazi and his administration selling weapons to terrorist who declaired war on the united states people………. they are slowly taking us out and no one does a damn thing about it.

  17. I’m sorry, I’m a devoted Christian and served in the Army at an Arabic Linguist fighting against Radical Islam. Yet I agree with all 6 of the quotes provided above:
    A) The future shouldn’t belong to people who insult Mohammed anymore than it should belong to the people who insult Christ. All people who slander other’s faiths should be ashamed of their “close-minded” natures and are not role models for any future society.
    B) Having been in Islamic countries, I have heard the Islamic call to prayer. Indeed, it is one of the prettiest sounds I’ve ever heard. It is awe inspiring to see the devotion and faith those people have that they would stop everything they are doing to devote themselves to prayer. Why doesn’t Christians do that?
    C) Islam has done a lot for the world and especially Western society. Almost all of our principals of mathematics and many of our principals of science take root in the Islamic world (where free study of science wasn’t suppressed by the Church like it was in medieval Europe).
    D) See item #3. And if you don’t understand how much our mathematics, science, and technological achievements are indebted to Islam, you don’t know much at all about history.
    E) Islam does have a proud history of tolerance. While Christianity was leading Crusades against Islam, one of the great ironies is how over 50% of the people they killed in their drive to “oust Islam” were Jews and Christians, because the Sunni branch of Islam didn’t persecute non-believers. These people lived side-by-side at peace with Islam in their own empire and cities.
    F) Islam has always been a part of America. John Adams wrote himself in the “Treaty of Tripoli 1797” (and you can look this up): “America is no more a Christian Nation than it is an Islamic or Judiac nation.”

    • A. You are off Mohammed was nothing more than sleazy merchant who saw an opportunity to take control of Mecca and thus the profits of the religious pilgrimages to there that were happening before the advent of Islam. So he deserves no special consideration.

      B. The call to prayer blasted over everywhere is annoying.

      C. Most of the accomplishments associated with Islam were developed by the Persians before the advent of Islam.

      D. See C.

      E. Islam has been violent from the start and Jihad has been far worse that The Crusades that lasted only 100+ years. The recent beheadings and mutilations of non-Muslims are not isolated events in Islamic history.

      F. John Adams statement does not indicate that Islam has been part of the United States from the start. The United States has been a predominately Christian nation from the start and to state otherwise is pure idiocy. I’m an Atheist by the way.

Islam and Sharia has no place in free societies!

      • The U.S. has not be predominantly (the correct word – not ‘predominately’) Christian from the start. It was founded as a secular country. Read some history. There’s plenty of books about the founding of this country and the people in the 18th century. About 17% of them attended church. How is it possible that it was predominantly Christian? There is a reason the First Amendment states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”. We wanted religion to stay out of government and government to stay out of religion.

      • Just because you keep posting this over and over doesn’t make it true. “Based on” means the moral fabric of, not forcing people to observe a religion like Islam does.

      • Oh, is that why church services were conducted in the Capital and other buildings close by in the early years of the nation?
“Congress shall make no….”, meaning that no particular religion would be established as the “state” religion, as England did when Henry VIII was refused a divorce or annulment from the Pope, so he established the Anglican church as the “official” religion and Catholic priests then had to hide… the reason England and Ireland fought so many years with the Irish being Catholic and the British being Anglican?
Separation of church and state was in a letter from Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists. It was/isn’t in the Constitution.

    • James, I get what your saying but some of these examples don’t hold water today. The advancement in mathematics is 3,000 years old. They have done nothing for hundreds of years. Israel has thousands of achievements in just the last 30 years.Islam might have had a history of tolerance but that’s gone. The Clerics are the Problem. They are raising terrorists in the name of god. That is where the problem lies.Personally I think what the Clerics are teaching are ruining the chance for the peaceful people of that faith. But blend into America is whats going to happen and the kids will change their course with no help from above

    • Answers.
      A. 1) You cannot coexist with people who want to kill you if you don’t believe what they believe. 2) It may be shameful to slander someone else’s religious icon or Savior, but it is part of the Freedom of Speech we have in the USA. Your speech does not have to please me.
      B. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:17. The One True God and His Son Jesus Christ gives us the LIBERTY to choose when we want to pray and in what manner. I wonder how much praying the muslims would do if they were not under the threat of violence for *not* praying.
      C. If the izlamic world has done so much for our society, why in the world don’t they do something for their own society? Most of their people live in another century long past.
      D. I owe no debt to izlam for anything and even if they contributed anything to society besides bondage and violence (consider their treatment of women for just one subject matter), it still does not void Freedom of Speech to call them out for their barbaric customs.
      E. It’s nice you can mention a moment or two of tolerance. I see precious little of it anywhere at all. To the contrary, wherever muslims are, violence, intolerance and bondage soon follow.
      F. I hope you go back to high school and study a little bit more on the “un-re-written” American history.

      • When we (US Army map service) made maps of IRAN in 1963, Iranian society was set up as a FEUDALISTIC society wherein the nobleman (Mullah) OWNED the local village and everything in it down to each person’s TOOTH BRUSH. When we finished mapping a region (county) we’d call in our local workers and pay them in cash but they kept right on going since their Mullah’d come to their home to conviscate pay.
When their Mullah came into our camp with his police force brandishing AK47 popguns to protest he was met with a hail of criss crossing tracer fire from our belt-fed Brownings and ordered to leaveso its no wonder IRAN’s leaders hate US

      • John Adams said it, but Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, George Washington, Ben Franklin and any one of hundreds of leaders who founded our country could have said it. We were founded as a secular nation. Period.

      • Why are you forcing your religion upon society? Secularism is just as much a religion as any other.

    • Great comments but R U saying we should ignore the statement made on ALL of our currency that indicates
a Christian belief- ie “IN GOD WE TRUST” ?
Maybe it should be ” IN ALLAH WE TRUST” now that
      we have a MUSLIM president

    • Wow! Your thought process and understanding of Islam, or lack thereof, is shocking! Maybe you shouldn’t voice that you are a “devout Christian” because you’ve shown nothing devout to Christ and His word in your statements.

      • Wow! Your thought process and understanding of Christianity, or lack thereof, is shocking. Maybe you should learn that being a “Devout Christian” means demonstrating the COMPASSION, UNDERSTANDING, and LOVE toward ALL people! Or do you forget that he showed just as much love and understand to the Hethen Roman Centurian, or the sworn enemies of Judiasm: Samaritans” as he did toward the Jews.
That is TRUE Christianity. It means LIVING a Christ-Like life and not just praising him in words or going to church.

      • I cannot show compassion and understanding for anyone who rapes 9 year old little girls or boys, I cannot show understanding or tolerance for any theology or religion the beheads and murders people because they do not convert to the muslim faith.
I cannot show tolerance to a religion that wants to take over our country by any means possible.
While I respect your serving our country you are NOT doing us any favors by having tolerance for the very same people that want to kill you and me

      • Wow! I don’t think that I have ever seen so many hate statements by so many “Christians” and “Patriots”. I personally do not care what anyone’s personal beliefs are regardless of their position. I do not admire anyone that would take things out of context to promote their own agenda be it religion or politics. This is blatant propaganda.

      • “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”

Is it the president’s job to talk about slandering the “profit”?

      • The President has a right and a responsibility to speak out against any type of hate speech. Hate speech is based on fear. I surmise that you are afraid of your own personal relationship so you must dictate the relationships of others to prove your own righteousness.

      • “against any type of hate speech”

No that is not the job of the president. He’s taken an oath to defend the Constitution, not people’s “feelings” over perceived slights.

Of course you leftists hate the First Amendment. You’d ban any speech that didn’t conform to your own views.

As for projecting your insecurities on others, try again.

      • You are calling me a leftist yet you know nothing about me. I voted Republican in the last election. You are speaking out of both sides of your mouth. I have never nor will I ever ban speech of any kind. Hate speech should be battled by intelligence and promoting knowledge.

      • “against any type of hate speech”

Have the integrity to stand by your words. Obama was worried about slandering the prophet, that is NOT his job.

Words can offend, even calling you a leftist, given your defense of Obama. Offensive words can then be called, “hate”. Sorry, that is not the job of any Federal official to decide.

      • “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”

Is it the president’s job to talk about slandering the “profit”?

Explain how quoting the president is out of context. The rest of the paragraph merely adds window dressing.

        Condemning hate speech? Where?

      • you’re kidding right? do yourself a favor and look up Mohammed, then look up Islam, then look up Muslim, Sharia Law, Isra, jihad, ….. Next look up consequences for missing muslim prayer. Next look up and watch muslims behead people of the christian faith, in the name of Allah. Allah ahkbar. I like the part when you can hear people gargle their own blood. don’t be ignorant look it up. I did, and it made me a believer. last one I saw they made a christian to denounce jesus and accept Islam. after he did they still beheaded him. You know what you can do with your propaganda!

      • I have studied many religions over the past thirty-nine years. It is my passion as is politics. I can site many abuses by many people under the guise of religion. Taking something someone said out of the context of which it is said to promote your own agenda is wrong. Teachings of hate and abuse is wrong period no matter what religion it is. Christianity is guilty of the same type of things in their history. I would not slander any religion as a whole. You will find good and bad people of all faiths. Inferring that I am ignorant as to the teachings of any religion is inappropriate.

      • Your choice of words not mine. You can read, all you want, but the evidence, in which, you can view for yourself should be a indicator that you either, do not understand or you chose not to believe. The crusades were carried on by people who were ignorant of the word. They accepted it, (the word),from the church at the time. If you want a real education because you think it’s propaganda go to Egypt and preach in the streets. Taking things out of context is according to who or where the information comes from. If you have not pieced the information together then the flaw is yours. If you were doing something harmful or wrong and someone finally pointed it out, would you keep doing it. I bet you supported Bill Clinton after the fact. I too have studied many religions and cults. Just remember your thoughts when you hear. Allahu Akbar

      • You speak of what you do not know. I am religious. I study all religions. I have never voted for nor do I support Bill Clinton. Not then and not now. It must make you feel superior to pigeon hole people and label them.

      • all I said was well stated where on earth do you get such a response? He had a excellent point. you need to reread or comment to the correct party

      • I am a child of God. I am constantly learning about all religions. There are good and bad people in all religions. People who use religion to as a means to get bolster their own agendas sicken me. It is not ok for Muslims or Christians to kill anyone for any reason. It is not ok to disrespect any religion for any reason. It is OK to hold those committing crimes accountable. Allen West has taken portions of the speech made by Obama to the UN out of context to bolster his own agenda. I believe in finding the true facts. James M is a true example of what a person of spirit represents just by the words he has used. On the other hand the Patriot does not show he is a patriot so he has to use it in his fake name. A true Christian does not have to tell me they are a Christian they will show me in their words and deeds.

      • Actually there are times according to the Bible that is ok to kill, such as war. Lot of such things in the old testament.
Not sure what agenda you think Mr. West has because i have been following him for some time. Does he want Obama out of the white house yes but so does most of America and not because he is black though I am sure there are some that want him out for that reason. My guess is you support Obama so of course anything Mr. West says is going to rile you’re feathers. I am not against all Muslims but one has to look at their violent history and their desire to destroy America has been their agenda for eons. (radicals) Are their good muslims yes but i believe that is not the ones most on this board see when they think of Muslims. Most soldiers hate them. A good deal of the U.S. as well thanks to 9/11. I don’t trust them (radicals). I have to agree with Patriot because I don’t believe for one minute God condones rape in any form. If you feel that those atrocities are acceptable by anyone then to me you are no Christian

      • You don’t believe God condones rape in any form but killing is condoned because it’s in the old testament, regardless of the fact that the 6th commandment says thou shalt not kill? What the heck kind of idiotic logic is that supposed to be?!

And how is it you can see the violent history of Muslims but not Christians? Just a bit hypocritical. And how do you know most soldiers hate Muslims? I have several family members in varying branches of the service and not one had stated that they hate Muslims.

And Alan West for president? You gotta be kidding! If he ran today, he’d have exactly one vote, YOURS! Pathetic.

      • Then tell me why Muslims behead Christians and nonmuslims around the world today, oh that’s right you are a person that only believes what the msm tells you

      • And you’re a complete moron for thinking two wrongs make a right! Christians have evolved to be civilized people whereas Muslims are still practicing 7th century barbaracism. They also still have slaves. I can go right now on YouTube and look up Muslims killing people in the street. You can’t find any other faith doing that. Go live with your Muslim”friends” as soon as they get dominance they will slaughter you and your family in the street

      • hello you are stuck in the past there has been no christian killings for hundreds of years but look at the muslims today (radicals)

      • I’m sorry to tell you Gloria — you live in a fantasy world…..

…..And the article below is only a small part of it. Go educate yourself!

        20th Century Church Atrocities

        Catholic extermination camps

Surpisingly few know that Nazi extermination camps in World War II were by no means the only ones in
Europe at the time. In the years 1942-1943 also in Croatia existed numerous extermination camps, run by
Catholic Ustasha under their dictator Ante Paveli, a practising Catholic and regular visitor to the
then pope. There were even concentration camps exclusively for children!

In these camps – the most notorious was Jasenovac, headed by a Franciscan friar – orthodox-Christian
serbians (and a substantial number of Jews) were murdered. Like the Nazis the Catholic Ustasha burned
their victims in kilns, alive (the Nazis were decent enough to have their victims gassed first). But
most of the victims were simply stabbed, slain or shot to death, the number of them being estimated
between 300,000 and 600,000, in a rather tiny country. Many of the killers were Franciscan friars. The
atrocities were appalling enough to induce bystanders of the Nazi “Sicherheitsdient der SS”, watching,
to complain about them to Hitler (who did not listen). The pope knew about these events and did nothing
        to prevent them. [MV]

        Catholic terror in Vietnam

In 1954 Vietnamese freedom fighters – the Viet Minh – had finally defeated the French
colonial government in North Vietnam, which by then had been supported by U.S. funds amounting to more
than $2 billion. Although the victorious assured religious freedom to all (most non-buddhist Vietnamese
were Catholics), due to huge anticommunist propaganda campaigns many Catholics fled to the South. With
the help of Catholic lobbies in Washington and Cardinal Spellman, the Vatican’s spokesman in U.S.
politics, who later on would call the U.S. forces in Vietnam “Soldiers of Christ”, a scheme was
concocted to prevent democratic elections which could have brought the communist Viet Minh to power in
the South as well, and the fanatic Catholic Ngo Dinh Diem was made president of South Vietnam.
        [MW16ff]

Diem saw to it that U.S. aid, food, technical and general assistance was given to Catholics alone,
Buddhist individuals and villages were ignored or had to pay for the food aids which were given to
Catholics for free. The only religious denomination to be supported was Roman Catholicism.

The Vietnamese McCarthyism turned even more vicious than its American counterpart. By 1956 Diem
promulgated a presidential order which read:

“Individuals considered dangerous to the national defense and common security may be confined
by executive order, to a concentration camp.”

Supposedly to fight communism, thousands of buddhist protesters and monks were imprisoned in
“detention camps.” Out of protest dozens of buddhist teachers – male and female – and monks poured gasoline
over themselves and burned themselves. (Note that Buddhists burned themselves: in comparison Christians tend
to burn others). Meanwhile some of the prison camps, which in the meantime were filled with Protestant and
even Catholic protesters as well, had turned into no-nonsense death camps. It is estimated that during this
period of terror (1955-1960) at least 24,000 were wounded – mostly in street riots – 80,000 people
were executed, 275,000 had been detained or tortured, and about 500,000 were sent to concentration or detention
        camps. [MW76-89].

To support this kind of government in the next decade thousands of American GI’s lost their life….

        Rwanda Massacres

In 1994 in the small african country of Rwanda in just a few months several hundred thousand civilians
were butchered, apparently a conflict of the Hutu and Tutsi ethnic groups.

For quite some time I heard only rumours about Catholic clergy actively involved in the 1994
Rwanda massacres. Odd denials of involvement were printed in Catholic church journals, before even anybody had
openly accused members of the church.

Then, 10/10/96, in the newscast of S2 Aktuell, Germany – a station not at all critical to
Christianity – the following was stated:

“Anglican as well as Catholic priests and nuns are suspect of having actively
participated in murders. Especially the conduct of a certain Catholic priest has been occupying the public
mind in Rwanda’s capital Kigali for months. He was minister of the church of the Holy Family and allegedly
murdered Tutsis in the most brutal manner. He is reported to have accompanied marauding Hutu militia with a
gun in his cowl. In fact there has been a bloody slaughter of Tutsis seeking shelter in his parish. Even
two years after the massacres many Catholics refuse to set foot on the threshold of their church, because
to them the participation of a certain part of the clergy in the slaughter is well established. There is
almost no church in Rwanda that has not seen refugees – women, children, old – being brutally butchered
        facing the crucifix.

According to eyewitnesses clergymen gave away hiding Tutsis and turned them over to the machetes of the
        Hutu militia.

In connection with these events again and again two Benedictine nuns are mentioned, both
of whom have fled into a Belgian monastery in the meantime to avoid prosecution. According to survivors one
of them called the Hutu killers and led them to several thousand people who had sought shelter in her
monastery. By force the doomed were driven out of the churchyard and were murdered in the presence of the
nun right in front of the gate. The other one is also reported to have directly cooperated with the
murderers of the Hutu militia. In her case again witnesses report that she watched the slaughtering of
people in cold blood and without showing response. She is even accused of having procured some petrol used
by the killers to set on fire and burn their victims alive…” [S2]

As can be seen from these events, to Christianity the Dark Ages never come to an end….

        References:

      • oh brother wanna try again ! this is not exactly accurate stuff your spouting btw you fail to list your reference (copyright infringement.)

Please explain to me why Catholics were also in concentration camp.? The holocaust either way was not instigated by any religion in fact though their were participants including muslims which is kind of the point you are arguing for. They are not exempt again so you kind of fail in that.

        Quote

There are only loose estimates for the number of Croats murdered by the Ustaša. This group included political and religious opponents of the regime, both Catholic and Muslim. Between 5,000 and 12,000 Croats are believed to have died in Jasenovac.

Try researching on how many Catholics died in the holocaust please. So do some research then get back to me. By the way just because one source declares it does not make i true if you are true to your research and can leave your bias out of it.

Either way still you are talking about well over 50 years ago. You still cannot show anything today yet one could go to youtube and pull up all kinds of muslim atrocities today.

      • Alright — I give up. Why do I even try to talk to you people? You cannot stand to be in error. Fine.

And, if you would learn to read — the references are at the end of the main article I posted here, of which this is a small exerpt.

        Goodby.

      • LOL figures you would. Violating copyright infringement for starters. I don’t just read one source a good person who is not biased will research multiple resources. Guess you can’t!. btw I know a lot more about the subject then you think

      • here is another link for you! http://www.catholic.com/magazine/articles/catholic-martyrs-of-the-holocaust

see their are multiple sources and btw I found where you got yours at one point. just wanted to see if you could be honest but apparently you cannot. Your argument fails, You have not proven any recent history of christians killing, beheading etc. You had to go back quite a ways and used something that condemned the muslim side you chose as well. The holocaust was caused by an evil man which had nothing to do with just religion. Nice try though!

      • you don’t know your history do you? when in the last 100 years has a christian killed anyone ? be careful there don’t make yourself look a bigger fool

      • Gloria — Whose the fool? One who tries to educate or the one who refuses to even read? Sorry for you…..

      • I read it and it is not entirely true and I responded to this on another post so who doesn’t read? perhaps you ought to quit being biased and learn to look at many sources. You have not cited yours yet why? let me guess you can’t!

      • being Christlike is good but you are not showing your true beliefs. In essence I see you supporting Islam and denying Christ and I think that is to what you she refers

      • When everyone in this world loves, forgives, and prays for the people that offend us, what God wants us to do, then we can call ourselves true Christians!!!!!

    • I am deeply offended by what you say here. Especially B. The Bible says to pray without ceasing. 1 Thess 5:17 We (meaning most of my Christian friends) pray constantly. I don’t need a “call to prayer” to pray to Jehovah. He wants me to talk to Him all the time and I do! Wherever and whenever. We just don’t make a spectacle of it. And if we did we’d be shouted at to shut up! Told to keep our religion to ourselves, because we might offend the muslims. What would happen if a muslim didn’t answer the call to prayer? Hmmm? A flogging or two maybe? You sir, are the one that needs to brush up on your history.

    • you focus on the few founding fathers that were not christians. as far as public prayer read Matthew 6:6 6″But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

    • So as a Christian, you support girls being married as young as six years old, consummated marriage at 9 years old. Women being treated like substandard humans. Mohammed was guilty of these 2 alone, not to mention many more. It is evident while you were an Arabic linguist, you were Not an Arabic Historian. How many wives are you allowed to have? Obama is more excited and more expressive when talking about Islam/Muslims, then about Christians. MUSLIMS, christians. Mohammed Rode, GET THIS, the traditional heavenly steed Called what? Buraq. ( name means lightening ) on his ISRA journey. Mohammed visited heaven and talked with Abraham, Moses, John the baptist, and Jesus. as Muhammad stated “The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying…” If your a christian and not a muslim follower, then the earth was not made for you. you can not be a christian. You and John the baptist will have last final moments in common.

  18. As usual, Allen West has omitted parts of these speeches to create a libelous post. Here’s a link to the actual speech he gave at the UN General Assembly. I’m not an Obama fan, but please don’t buy into propaganda just because you hate the guy. Plenty of REAL things he does to earn your enmity.,

    http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/09/25/remarks-president-un-general-assembly

“The future must not belong to those who target Coptic Christians in
Egypt — it must be claimed by those in Tahrir Square who chanted,
“Muslims, Christians, we are one.” The future must not belong to those
who bully women — it must be shaped by girls who go to school, and
those who stand for a world where our daughters can live their dreams
    just like our sons.”

    • Please, why is Obama still funding the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda in Egypt. Why is he not allowing Egypt to take possession the helicopters they purchased and need to stop attacks on Israel, Jordan and the Egyptian people. (Note looks like Putin will be happy to give Egypt Copters to protect themselves and Israel)

Why is he funding people in Syria who have literally put living Christian Children into commercial ovens and baked them

Did he talk about Christianity at his Ramadan Celebration– No.. But sure talked about the virtues of Islam at the White House Easter Celebration

      • Pretty easy answer there. Obama isn’t funding anyone. I don’t know if you ever took a government class in college (or high school?), but the President doesn’t unilaterally decide the nation’s budget. It’s not in his power to do so and Congress could de-fund the Egyptian army if they ever grew a pair of balls.

Hell, I’m wondering why Israel is being granted free nuclear technology, laser technology and tens-of-billions in military hardware. This was all “donated,” courtesy of BOTH political parties over the past 70 years. We’ve been funding terrorists on both sides of that conflict, arming the Egyptians and the Israelis.

It’s a case of war profiteering. Keeping both sides weak and making money off of the hardware while John Q. Taxpayer picks up the bill. Been going on for decades and isn’t likely to stop as long as the media has a strangle hold on politics.

      • Then explain why John Kerry took a shipment of money to the muslim brotherhood. Congress had no knowledge of the transfer until after it happened. Or were you sleeping when that happened

      • Actually, I wasn’t “sleeping”. I’ve just read the entirety of the articles surrounding this “scandal” and wasn’t alarmed. Seems like people on this site are allergic to reading and prefer to believe whatever conspiracy theory the GOP cooks up. I’m done.

      • You’re done alright as in cooked through. You pretend to be a Libertarian but you talk like a liberal. You aren’t fooling anyone with your rants. Try questions barry’s motives instead of sticking up for him

      • You’re exposed. The only opinions you will accept are those that defame someone, even if the statement is false. You’re the kind of idiot who distributes fake memes over the internet, believing martians will invade because a 300×300 jpeg said so. lol

So sad you’re able to vote.

      • “Your exposed” Really? Just because you say so? That’s about as accurate as saying the moon is made out of cheese. Projecting what you ar a how you feel as to what you think I am and what I am, Isn’t working. You failed miserably. I am surprised the let you out of the nut farm

      • Congratulations, you understand the basic principal behind Article I Section 7 Cl 1- and it works that way, up to a point..

Congress quit worry about the details of how the money was actually spent long ago.. If you recall the President has from time to time threatened to do things like not pay our military, .. Additionally some fairly large sums go into thing like USAID and other discretionary accounts.. Seems the administration has a lot of flexibility as to how the money, once appropriated is actually spent.

Reality is all to often at odds with the Constitution.. Something neither Congress or the courts are in any big hurry to fix

If you Google Obama Diverts Money, you’ll get over 2.9 Million hits

    • barry has never done anything to earn respect in any form. You cannot name anything good he has done for this country, I know I can’t. He talks a good talk but never ever walks the walk. He gives billions of dollars to the muslim brotherhood but cuts our military, He gives weapons to Al Qaeda but refuses aid to Ukraine. He spends frivolously on vacation but when it comes to jobs he puts people out of business and work. There is a story in todays news the amtrak is going to have to change routes because there isn’t any funding to upgrade track, but barry can take 110 million dollar vacations. Empathy for barry? not from me

    • Oh please, the First Amendment should be honored by every president. Why should the Feds get involved with blasphemy laws, are you seeking to remove the wall between state and mosque?

      • Where did he advocate blasphemy laws? I’d love to see your citation on that from the speech.

      • Why is Obama talking about blasphemy at all? Can you answer the question, or not?

“Now, I have made it clear that the United States government had nothing to do with this video, and I believe its message must be rejected by all who respect our common humanity.”

BTW, Benghazi had nothing to do with a video. Why did Obama apologize in Pakistan?

      • I answered that in another post and summarized that part of the speech. Not sure if you read that before posting this since the time codes are a bit off.

      • No, you didn’t, you merely mentioned that it was about tolerance. As though tolerance and blasphemy belong in the same speech.

“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

What, precisely did Obama mean by that sentence?

        “churches that are destroyed”

How many times has Obama mentioned that theme?

      • Precisely, he meant that all religious backgrounds must be respected. Slandering the Prophet is a very serious sin in Islam and one they will stone or execute you for in Islamic countries. They took great offense and have a fervent belief that all Americans are blasphemers and terrible people. Obama was specifically addressing that fear.

Your point only holds up if you quote single sentences in isolation. Even a simpleton could read the paragraph and glean the true meaning. You’re blinded by hate and WANT to believe this, so you will omit any facts you can to make your point. And you have.

      • Horsefeathers. First, free speech trumps Obama’s BS regarding slander.

Sin in Islam? Sorry, that’s not for the president to determine.

Blinded by hate? Stop projecting your own insecurities.

BTW, did Obama’s feathers get ruffled by the NEA ( tax dollars ) funding Serrano’s work?

Get back when Obama’s not a full blown hypocrite, ok?

    • Those things have nothing to do with the quote in question and I don’t have an issue with them. Maybe YOU can tell me what Obama meant by “slander the Prophet of Islam?”

      • No. I won’t read and summarize the entire speech for you. Take 5 minutes out of your day and become educated on a subject instead of blithering like an idiot.

      • Did you just quote Pee Wee Herman to make a comeback? lol Gloria done got herself some fancy book-learnin’.

      • Oh, and please tell me why the full text of what Obama actually said has “nothing to do” with the meaning of what was said?! I’m.. really at a loss. Either you’re incredibly dumb or you’re a very smart, satirical writer from the Onion.

      • I love how liberal thinking people only can come back with snide remarks. that was not in context to what he was referring to

      • Actually, not a liberal at all. I’m a libertarian. And by that I mean member of the actual Libertarian Party; not the hijacked libertarianism the GOP falsely promotes. We’re about as “conservative” as you can get while actually meaning it.

I just don’t buy into propaganda from idiots like Allan West.

      • If you can pos that other people are idiots, you make yourself look like one, You don’t buy into what west says but you buy into what Barry says, that does not make you a libertarian that makes you a puppet

      • lol What the hell are you even TALKING ABOUT?!?! I don’t “buy into” what the President said. I strongly dislike Obama.

I’m saying that Allen West PURPOSELY extracted small bits from his speech to make him resemble a “Muslim sympathizer,” when the speech had NOTHING to do with appeasing anyone. If I’m going to hate on Obama, it’s going to be for a good reason — Not some bull$hit propaganda piece from the GOP’s token black guy.

      • Perhaps you shouldn’t bring race into a subject devoid of the topic? BTW, it would be you applying for that internship as you’d fit right in with the comment you’d made.

      • You seem angry. Perhaps that’s contributing to why you’re at a loss? Anyway… the quotes you added – apparently to detract from the “slander” quote – are not controversial to me. The “slander” quote is. I’m simply asking you for an example of it that would justify it coming from the mouth of the POTUS.

      • That part of the speech was about tolerance and acceptance. (Yes, if you read it he actually SAYS “tolerance” about two paragraphs down). He is referring to the outcry from the Islamic world about the video which supposedly slandered the Muslim prophet; the one which supposedly incited the crowd to violence in Benghazi.

In the specific quote in question, he was telling the Muslims that if the world is expected to respect their religious laws, then we expect them to do the same. That they will only be taken seriously when they respect the existence of the Israeli state, the border between Palestinian Authority and Israel, the existence of non-Muslim communities within their borders and that the United States is not “anti-Islamic” by necessity.

In essence, he was combating the propaganda being put out by the Muslim clerics calling the mob to action. When you read more than a few sentences, it’s pretty blatant and obvious what the speech intended.

      • So you’re going to stick to the victim routine for the Benghazi attack? right, You might want to know that barry had the CIA running guns to Al Qaeda. The Russians didn’t want that happening They sent the Turkish ambassador to Chris Stevens.
Stevens use to be a CIA operative in AFrica for some 20 years, The Turkish Ambassador was his adversary before he became an Ambassador.
The Ambassador set up Stevens and Rebels groups attacked the compound to kidnap Stevens for Ransom. It went all wrong and the rest is history
So it has nothing to do with your theory.
        Nice try though

      • That wasn’t my “theory.” Benghazi was an organized attack by militants within Libya. An attack our state department purposely avoided confronting in order to ‘bow’ to Islamist pressure.

FYI – Al Qaeda is a VERY small network. Most of the men facing our troops in Iraq were (a) former Iraqi army, (b) Jihadists from other countries and (c) mercenaries hired by wealthy men in neighboring Syria, Jordan and Saudi Araba. According to intel, they would be paid by bringing back US dog tags to their employer.

The war is a fundamental misunderstanding of Islamic values and who the true “enemy” is. Islam itself is civilization’s mortal foe and nothing short of banning their presence in the western world will advance our cause. They cannot be allowed to establish a foothold in any civilized country and must be contained.

There is no “radical” Islam. There is only Islam.

      • wow the president told me there were Islamist and radical Islamist. those are words taken out of his mouth, but wait, if you look further you will see he is a lier and you can not trust anything, coming out of his mouth. Except, you evidently, did so. By your own statement, There is no “radical” Islam. There is only Islam. It places you in contradiction of yourself. If there is only Islam, Then All Islamic people are muslim and all muslims behead those who do not praise Allah. Then Islam is responsible for Hate which makes you responsible for defending them. There have been many movies made before this one yet, this one deserves attention.

      • No. That’s the meaning you wanted to read into it. I’ll expound further.

Islam’s sole purpose is to force the entire globe into submission to Allah. It has never been a “religion of peace.” Some Muslims choose to pick up the rifle, others go to their job every day. But the jihad is universal and the unofficial 6th pillar of Islam.

No, I didn’t “contradict myself.” I just didn’t spell it out for you clearly enough.

      • For someone that “isn’t exactly a fan of Obama,” you sure do go to great lengths to apologize for him. Because I’ve concluded that you are completely f.o.s. and are, in fact, a fan of the feckless One, I’m ignoring your stupid (sorry, but they are) comments. There is no convincing a zealot and I value my time too much to try.

PS: It was the Benghazi lie that outed you.

      • “the one which supposedly incited the crowd to violence in Benghazi.”

The attack in Benghazi had nothing to do with a video. You are simply a shill for Obama.

      • So, why not try answering the question?

What did Obama mean by “slander the Prophet of Islam?”

      • I have zero respect for a religion that has no tolerance, that kills its own men women and children in cold blood or beheads those who do not convert to their faith. I do not have tolerance or respect for a religion that rapes little kids and do “HONOR” killings, there is no such thing as an honorable murder

      • Really, do tell. Like a typical troll you can not do anything but offer criticism. Babbling as you go trying to hurt others when in reality you make yourself look foolish, childish. “Grow up” that’s the best you can come up with? Your morality is bankrupt

      • Just ignore “Robin”. He/she is solely on here to promote Obama and this administration. Click on his name and it will send you to his profile. You can see the stamp of a liberal in every post. 🙂

      • You ARE speaking about Christianity aren’t you? The religion that has killed hundreds of millions over the past centuries, and still kills in the name of Jesus. Lots of recent examples if you want to look.

      • No I am speaking of the muslim religion, Name one in the last 100 years that christians have run around killing anyone in the name of God, for that matter to convert anyone to christianity. You can’t

      • Wow! So you have NO knowledge of the last 2000 years of Christian history? Why am I not surprised, someone who calls himself “The Patroit.”

      • It is astounding to me that you folks will comment on stuff you have not read and know nothing about. OK, here — I’ll spoon-feed you. Good grief! please make mature comments.

And this doesn’t list all the killings in the name of jesus that have happened THIS century. I’m done babysitting. Go look it up yourself.

  19. Mr. Allan West thanks for link to those statements by Obama, in story of Isra its in the Koran. The sqme koran that incites them to Jihad against us, says yes Moses, Jesus Christ and Mohammed prayed together but then Mohamed jumped on magic bull went to far away mosque and talked to God and had to come back and relay what God said to Jesus and Moses. Such blaspheme and arogance. Name of the majic bull Baroq yes like barrack.

  20. #1 “The future must not belong to those who slander the Christ”

Meanwhile the gov’t funded Serranno via the NEA.

#4 “As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam.”

True, if not for Islam conquering Constantinople, Columbus wouldn’t have sought a new trade route to India, around the scum of the Middle East. Plus without Islam, there’d be no vampire movies today.

#5 “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”

Laugh out loud funny, Obama’s a stand up comedian. Tolerance is cutting off the heads of English soldiers and worse, journalists.

#6 “Islam has always been part of America”

True, our first war outside the western hemisphere was with Islamists and their treachery.

  21. America was founded as a secular nation with separation of church and state clearly in the front of our founding fathers’ minds and spelled out in the Constitution. We were not founded on Judeo-Christian anything. In the late 18th century, approximately 17% of Americans attended church. This country wanted religion to stay out of government. That’s why it was designed that way. To write anything else is a lie and Allen West knows it. Those of you who wish to give your religion more influence over our government or our laws or anything else do not like this country. You certainly don’t love it. You love your idea of what you wish it was, but watch out what you wish for. If you get your way and religion gets control of our government, it might not be your religion. What are you going to do then?

    • “separation of church and state clearly in the front of our founding fathers’ minds and spelled out in the Constitution”

Care to quote that spelled out? Don’t bother, it’s not there.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

    • Your information is way out there LarryCook…if you do your research you’ll find our founding fathers usually prayed and sought out GOD’s wisdom before putting anything on paper…If you do your research you’ll find even Christphoer Columbus was a believer… It wasn’t until some time later that those in power decided they didn’t need GOD nor HIS knowledge to govern anything…they were/are sooo wrong. Before you count me off…do some research, real research…

      • PCGRAEF, Not sure where you’re finding our information, but it’s common
knowledge that several of the Founding Fathers (Washington, Adams,
Jefferson, Madison to name a few) were extremely skeptical of religion.
Religion was largely viewed as a private affair between the individual
and the Lord — not as something to be paraded around and used as
leverage for making laws. As for Christopher Columbus, he was a
thief, liar, murderer, enslaved people, created a sex trade of young
boys and girls, and encouraged his crew to rape and pillage. I’m not
certain I would uplift him as a Believer. I think you need to do the real research.

      • Of those you cite, Jefferson is a skeptic. Odd you’d cite the rest, especially Washington, given the preponderance of evidence he believed Providence was at hand helping establish the nation. Odd too, he also started a tradition of Thanks Giving via a proclamation.

        Adams?

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and RELIGIOUS people.

        -President John Adam

Madison? Odd, he went to a seminary later called Princeton.

      • Regardless of what any of them (Washington, Adams Jefferson, etc….) believed, it’s what it states in the constitution that counts. It’s does not say separation of church and state; does not say freedom of religion; it just states there won’t be a state sponsored religion and that they wouldn’t infringe on what your religious practices were. keep in mind that England had the Church of England… the head of that Church was the English monarch….. thus they did not want a state sponsored religion, like in England. Enough said. Just don’t try to read in “what they meant. It’s what it actually says.

      • geez you are looking for proof to back your opinion not looking honestly at both sides nor can you say all those involved felt the same as Jefferson etc. There are far to many quotes about God to ignore it as not part of the founding of this country. Just because a few men may or may not have had personal belief in christianity does not prove the country was not founded by such. the reason this country came into existence was so people could have freedom of religion. (choice) not sure why you feel all men had to believe the same in order for the country to be Christian. I am going to quote here:

Fact: of the 55 men who drafted the constitution, 52 considered themselves to be evangelical Christians.

Fact: when TJ was appointed president of the Washington, DC school system, he installed a copy of Isaac Watt’s hymnal and the Bible as the two primary reading texts.

Fact: When our founding fathers decided to organize our government, they did it based upon Biblical principles.

At the time, Russia had a czar and Britain had a king.

Because of the excesses of absolute monarchs, our founding fathers knew no single individual was competent to rule a country.

Therefore, they operated upon two premises: “There is none righteous, no not one” (Romans 3:10) and “For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

That is why we have three opposing branches of government: each is supposed to keep the other two in line.

It is absolutely irrelevant what any individual believed or did not believe. It matters not that TJ may, or may not, have owned slaves. It matters not that Grant was an alcoholic. It matters not that Kennedy was a whoremonger and drug abuser. The nation is more than an individual.

America’s greatness has always been because she is a Christian nation. And without her Christian moorings, she will not survive the coming storm.

      • Can you quote some citations for those “facts?” Maybe something from the Federalist papers or… anything? And no, don’t come back with some angry BS. 🙂 I want to see actual citations stating that the United States was intended to be a Christian country.

      • Also, how is Russia surviving? Saudi Arabia? France? These certainly aren’t “Christian countries” and are doing quite well. You’re mixing religion and politics in the GOP cocktails again, aren’t you? lol

      • Russia is surviving, but you may want to ask her citizens how they are faring. The mean standard of living is not where it should be, many go hungry, many are alcoholics and drug users, the rate of HIV from needle use is the highest in the world, and Russian females must look for men in other countries due to the unequal ratio of males to females (wars, drugs, prisons, premature deaths have made this possible). The Oligarchs live well, yes, but the average Russian citizen, no.
Saudi Arabia – all one has to do is look at how they treat their women, as chattel. The country is covered with morality police, anyone who steps out of line must pay – literally and figuratively. Saudi’s are surviving, their Royal Males do well, everyone else is on the margins.
France is having problems with their Muslim population who do not want to assimilate to France’s culture. They want Sharia Law invoked (see Great Britain), and have rioted in the last several years, as Muslims are unhappy with the French government. When you move to another country, it is rather rude and arrogant to believe that your adopted land would change their ways to accommodate you.
These 3 countries aren’t doing as well as you think they are…

      • According to Frank Lambert, Professor of History at Purdue University, the assurances in Article 11 were “intended to allay the fears of the Muslim state by insisting that religion would not govern how the treaty was interpreted and enforced. John Adams and the Senate made clear that the pact was between two sovereign states, not between two religious powers.” Lambert writes,
“By their actions, the Founding Fathers made clear that their primary concern was religious freedom, not the advancement of a state religion. Individuals, not the government, would define religious faith and practice in the United States. Thus the Founders ensured that in no official sense would America be a Christian Republic. Ten years after the Constitutional Convention ended its work, the country assured the world that the United States was a secular state, and that its negotiations would adhere to the rule of law, not the dictates of the Christian faith. The assurances were contained in the Treaty of Tripoli of 1797 and were intended to allay the fears of the Muslim state by insisting that religion would not govern how the treaty was interpreted and enforced. John Adams and the Senate made clear that the pact was between two sovereign states, not between two religious powers.[15]”

      • big deal one document doesn’t prove anything. considering the signers of the declaration of Independence were Christian minus 3 you’re thinking is a little off

      • Yes; one document presented to the Senate by President John Adams & ratified unanimously by the Senate & signed into law in June of 1797…

Nope that doesn’t prove a thing…so sorry to interrupt your uninformed ranting with facts…

      • There were some who were more Deists than Christians, I’ll grant you that. That said – they still knew that the Judeo-Christian faiths were and should continue to inform the morals and values of the country. Really read what they had to say about religion – they didn’t run from it as members of the government – they just didn’t proclaim one particular religion or denomination that was sanctioned and supported by the state, as the Church of England was in England.

      • Reguardless of their adult opinions of religion. They most certainly were raised and schooled in Christianity. And even though some lossed/changed their beliefs due to college education or life changing events. They believed that religion was important enough to ensure everyone would be able pray to the god of their choosing without government control or manipulations.

      • nice thought but I doubt he is sincere enough to research. he is living in his bias and what others have stated

  22. Once and for all, People. The phrase, “The Separation of Church and State” is NOT in the Constitution! Get your own copy of the Constitution and READ IT!!

The 1st amendment to the Constitution:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

      • He is a demon-human..
“Who is the liar if it is not the one that denies that Jesus is the Christ?
THIS is the antichrist, the one that denies the Father and the Son.  Everyone that denies the Son does not have the Father either. He that confesses the Son has the Father also” 1John 2:22,23

  23. Don’t forget his ‘my muslim faith’ statement, which Stephanopolous corrected and he went along with, all those years ago!

  24. He is Muslim and supports the Muslim Brotherhood.. Which means he is a traitor. And should be arrested and tried for treason…

  25. I’m still not ready to call Obama a Muslim although he very well may be. I think he’s a statist or “Obamist”. He’s all about himself and his power and the power of the state to dictate what people can and can’t do. He doesn’t like the idea of liberty, but a control freak. Islam is condoned because it is a statist religion, unlike Judaism and Christianity which hold that leaders are accountable to God and just as fallible as everyone else. Black Liberation Theology is Communism dressed up in Christianity. The fact that Obama has embraced both screams statist.

  26. Obama is and always has been a troll. He says all sorts of crazy stuff knowing the reaction to follow will give him many laughs.

  27. Sorry, no one hates Obama worse than me but I have never heard him say anything about not slandering Muhammed. I’d need a web site to go to so I can hear his voice saying that.

      • Me on the contrary think conservatives have their purpose every ying needs a yang that’s what America was built on. But at least try to pretend to be half-serious that piece sounds like a joke. 40 quotes taken out of context does not determine a man’s faith. And that’s any man not just Obama.

      • (H)ey hood(comma)do you ever read what you type(comma) or are you really that Illiterate?

Yep, I read what you (snicker) type, too.

        LMAO !

        Bagger brains = BS blathering.

      • Hey, We have a Grammar Nazi! Go blather your pointless illiterate rants else where, you are boring at best, at worst you are a danger to yourself

      • Has nothing to do with grammar & lots to do with PUNCTUATION, Illiterate tea twit !

        LMAO !

        LMAO !

Poor bagger, you brought an empty pumpkin head, to a battle of wits & that’s not 1/2 good enough….

      • Fake laughter, fake intelligence, the only real thing about you is you are a really poor excuse for a troll

      • You mean, like a poster that blathers about another poster endlessly, right ….nagger low IQ bagger ???

      • Are you really that Illiterate ?

(H)ey hood(comma)do you ever read what you type(comma) or are you really that Illiterate?

Yep, I read what you (snicker) type, too.

      • He can’t formulate any other argument but to rinse and repeat after one or two comments… Must be the tight tights he’s been wearing, cut off the blood supply to brain…

      • elsewhere is one word, tea twit.

In your use, the “meaning” become as moronic …as the author.

      • You can always tell when you have won the debate… when defeated can’t attack the message anymore, as they have no way to counter it, they attack the messenger’s style of writing and grammar… or them personally…. Good job Patriot!

      • I always figured the first person to wave their arms madly & say I won was the quitter…

        HMMM !!

        LMAO !

Got a copy of your rule book, that say demonstrated stupidity wins ???

      • A man’s actions dictate who he is, not his words. He acts like a Muslim, he supports muslims and islam, he invites them to dinner at the white house and yes the are directly connected to Terrorism.
He has been photographed wearing muslim clothes and a turban that can only be worn by a devout Muslim

      • Does he pray 5 times a day facing Mecca? Does he observe Ramadan? Are his kids or his wife veiled? Since the Mecca pilgrimage is mandatory for every Muslim at least once in their lives did he ever take one such vacation among the many other vacations he took. And please tell me why would a Muslim spend so much time in Jeremiah Wright’s Church?

      • What he does behind closed doors is different than what he says in public, Like pot smoking and doing coke. he probably does pray to Mecca

      • Speculations my friend. You can’t be a secret Muslim. It’s not like being a Christian where you go to Church on Sundays and call yourself religious.

      • Yes, you can, In the Koran it states that you may take on the demeanor of your enemy to defeat him

      • Seems odd, you’re saying lack of proof is proof, SO…you’re a Muslim, too, according to YOUR proof…..

      • Why should I have proof, you don’t offer proof for anything you say. The only proof you have or need, is the obvious lack of intelligent to say

      • Never heard of taqiyya?

Imam Jafar Sadi said: “Associate your opponents only outwardly and oppose them inwardly.”

      • Seems odd, you’re saying lack of proof is proof, SO…you’re a Muslim, according to YOUR proof…..

      • Seems odd, you’re saying lack of proof is proof, SO…you’re a Muslim, according to YOUR proof…..

      • Stand by your own words.

“You can’t be a secret Muslim”

        vs

        taqiyya

Imam Jafar Sadi said: “Associate your opponents only outwardly and oppose them inwardly.”

      • RawMoney shows no signs ???

        Must be Muslim….

Thanks Pal, SPREAD THE WORD !

Lotta folks showing no sign, SUSPECT EVERYONE !!!!

      • Raf.. he has lied to everyone about everything why do you find it so hard for him to hide that in order to see that his agenda is followed out? His primary function as President now is to destroy this country from within… and he is doing it as the blind continue to stay blind willingly…

      • Because to me it doesn’t make sense that the Muslim Brotherhood who could not hold on to power in Egypt would be sophisticated enough to infiltrate the White-House.

      • He admitted publicly to the pot smoking and the coke. You wouldn’t know about if it wasn’t in his books. You have one picture of Obama wearing a turban I have countless of him eating pork.

      • Really? What do you say to him bowing to the KIng of Saudi Arabia? No President Bows to anyone.

      • lowering your head to have a meda put around your neck is different the bowing as a salute and kissing the ring of the King

      • It is customary when greeting people mostly in europe and the middle east to basically rub cheeks not really kissing. It is a gesture of respect and has nothing to do with being gay

      • The Saudi king gave Bush the customary embrace; Bush here is the recipient and is not kissing him. Look closer, Bush isn’t even kissing, his lips are simply parted.

      • The Saudi king gave Bush the customary embrace; Bush here is the recipient and is not kissing him.

      • Last year, during ramadan, obama was at a dinner and refused to eat. He said it was because his “taster” was not there! Pork loin roast was the meat. Besides, who the hell is he to even HAVE a taster?

      • He may not observe these muslime rituals in public, but he is a master at taqqiya, of which you have swallowed the entire deception ! !

      • Raf… if he did that in public how long do you think he would still be in office… He always seems to find a way to praise Islam but never Christianity… And the questions you ask… Why would a Muslim spend so much time in Jeremiah Wrights Church… because he hates Whites.. because it was a cover up to pretend to be a Christian so he would seem to this country to be one… open your eyes.. I really don’t believe you are that blind…

      • Bush dressed in a serape (Mexican) & Vietnamese garb, & kissed a Saudi…

So, according to your “logic”, Bush was a Half Mexican/Vietnamese gay dude ???

        HMMM ?? Seems “logical”…

        NEXT !

      • Lol bringing up Bush? What a joker you are. But you see with Bush we did know he was for America, I wish we could see that in Obama and i just do not. That is truth.

      • On two occasions during his tenure, Bush was greeted by foreign dignitaries at reception who gave him their traditional garb, and out of good gesture, he donned the garb briefly. This is vastly different than Barry Soetoro who actually was a Muslim in Indonesia. Those Hussein quotes are from his finest self-evident beliefs.

      • Under Obama the stock market is at an historic high, unemployment is dropping, the country is awash in weapons, the deficit is half what it was and dropping, the pentagon is the biggest in history, the 1% has more money than 80% of the population, unions are almost gone, deportations are at an historic high, drones are killing LOTS of people, we are threatening war again in the mid-East, unlimited money can buy any election, poverty is at an all time high, as is hunger. And you are complaining? This is your dream President!

      • Obama invited the Muslim Brotherhood to the White House. He’s a Muslim. He’s on youtube talking about the Muslim prayer and how beautiful it is, he’s a Muslim. He’s letting Muslim Terrorists who only supplied materials for terror but weren’t caught actually killing Americans into the USA. HE’S A MUSLIM. AND MUST BE IMPEACHED

      • Wrong Rafael, the only people that don’t know or care that Obama is Muslim. Are receiving food stamps and have 6 kids by 5 different fathers.

      • You mean like the octo-mom Suleman, who was married from 1996 to 2008, has never publicly identified the father of any of her children. She has said it wasn’t her ex-husband, but a friend who donated the sperm used to create the 60 embryos that authorities say Kamrava implanted in her over the years.

Ah GEEZ, the timeline started PRE-Obama, too bad, right ??

      • You’re wasting your time with RH. Seriously, it’s not worth the effort. Ignoring him is the best option.

      • Something like that. I was talking about pushing people’s buttons, but either way. He’s posted so many personal attacks on me in the last 12-14 hours, it’s actually pretty amusing. I guess life is good living in his mommy’s basement.

      • Fortunately, I’m not a part of that department, I didn’t qualify. Something about having too much logic and common sense and too much oxygen making it to my brain. I guess I’ll have to leave it up to you!

      • Yeah, I can see you’re not qualified for much, tiny minded troll.

Want a comma tutorial or are you fine being a moron ?

      • We could keep this up, but it is a demonstration of how ridiculously easy it is to fluster a Liberal.
Just know this: When November has come and gone, you will finally realize how desperate the uphill battle will be for Progressive Liberals in 2016. They managed to baffle enough people with B.S and lies for a while, but the Hope is gone and the Change hurt enough people. I almost feel bad because there are some decent Democrats…almost.
No need for a snarky comeback, as already demonstrated I revel in digressive…discussions.
If, however you feel the need to offer a verbal ambiguation or just the last word, by all means.

      • No stupid you are they are not recieving SSI you dumb ass hole they recieve welfare not SSI you ignorant jackass! You pay SSI in your check for hopeful retirement help which obviously your brain is already retired not knowing the difference! Stupid ass!

      • It is his life. But I don’t want to pay for lazy liberals to get SSI when they are not working and not doing anything.

      • No dumbass obama wants it but he did not earn it as did Ron Paul! He was a Medical Doctor for years and paid his and his employees SSI! As if you even know what SSI truely is you imbecile! And it is not welfare like you collect I can assire you!

      • It sure as hell is not the lazy assed liberals paying SSI! And assuming you are one you are living off the system of freebies paid for by the working conservatives that pay the majority of the taxes! So why don’t you bury your head back up your stupid ass from which your gas blew it out! Go breath more methane you idiot!

      • Yep, Bill Gates, Paul Allen, & Warren Buffet pay less taxes, than Nugent & you’re GRAMUTERTED from High School, too…

      • Be careful and do not laugh your ass off you will lose your resting place for your head that is where you keep it buried!

      • Take from the rich , give to the poor. It’s never worked in any country and never will. Obama is the liar in chief.

      • Given the proof you’ve provided, you’re my “idiot expert”.

        LMAO !

Kinda like a truffle pig, porky !

        LMAO !

    • I can imagine you with pig lard that is pig grease you ignorant POS, rubbed all over you and ignited and just before your last squeal I can imagine your head being lopped off your muslim scum bag shoulders!

    • Why would we need imagination about this subject when its pretty plain.. although some of these may be “out of context” you combine them together it makes for a good argument that Obama is more Muslim/Islam friendly and very little Christian friendly…

      • Because conservatives been riding the Obama is a Muslim bandwagon for over 6 years and it hasn’t got them anywhere. There’s plenty to criticize about Obama, resorting to that line now is intellectual masturbation. I can take 40 quotes from Bill O’Reilly and turn them into a rap song that doesn’t make him Jay-Z.

  28. I believe a person has the choice to believe however they want. That being sad, Islam is the most intolerant religion I have ever encountered. They treat women as a piece of property and they will not tolerate anyone who has different beliefs than they do. Obama saying what he said about them just proves one more time that he is a liar. Like your insurance? Keep your insurance! Like your Jesus Christ? Keep your head! It is time to impeach this fraud!!!

    • Tara you are so right, Christian way is the only way anybody IS GOING TO ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD no if’s, and’s or but’s if you don’t believe me just read your KING JAMES BIBLE…Very first bible ever written the true bible… God bless.. <3

      • While I agree with most of your statement you are completely wrong about the King James Bible being the “Very first bible ever written the true bible.” Either you are “trolling” or just don’t know what your talking about. The King James Bible was written in the 1600’s A.D. and there are copies of the bible written in the fourth century A.D. that is a big deference unless you think the King James version was written and then somehow transported back in time to like the 3rd century where it was copied and then destroyed and all known copies where destroyed and someone else heard about it and decided in the fourth century to re write it but in Greek instead of English.

      • excellent point… since the original scriptures were only allowed to be copied by the scribes from original texts that no longer exist today… http://irr.org/todays-bible-real-bible

King James had a lot of things omitted from the King James version and didn’t want it spread through out the kingdom, one way they were able to keep so many people in “control” was to put the fear of God in them literally… I may be wrong but it was this fear of the unknown that kept them in subjection until the days of enlightenment…

  29. One thing people continue to DISCOUNT as a flub on his part,, but REALLY WAS NOT. “I’ve visited all 57 states”. He was referring to the 57 states/nations of “Islam”. People just haven’t figured that one out. HE IS A MUSLIM, THROUGH AND THROUGH folks.

  30. They say that history repeats itself. The first religious conflict in this country grew out of the early settlers attempting to convert “the savage natives”. There is tolerance and complacency, and they are not the same thing. And by the time those who are complacent realize the price of their silence masquerading as tolerance, it will be too late.

  31. Muslim & Tolerant, this may take me more time to come to any understanding of than I have left in days on this earth.

    • If you were born yesterday you would not have enough days left on this earth! For 7 Centuries all they have contributed to society was death and destruction to civilized people! They are Satanic Perverts that kill their own offspring in the name of allah and islam and all they demonstrate is demonic Satanic lifestyle while satisfying Satans lust for blood! Islam is arabic for Satan I believe this to be true!

      • You know, you are exposing your ignorance by posting such things publicly. I almost feel embarrassed for you!

      • Not only that but he admitted to his 9 year old wife Aisha that his “revaluation” was from satan himself. Soooooo yeah. Cult of satan by his own admission.

      • Muhamed was a murdering psychopath, who lusted after a six year old girl. Quite sick.

And what do the feminists in the US do? Seek to shutdown an atheist speaking out against the true misogynistic religion, Islam.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali was denied by feminists a honorary degree at Brandeis.

      • A “critic.”

That’s a lukewarm description for someone who has expressed her supportfor defeating Islam (not extremists, but the entire faith) by military means if necessary. Let’s be clear: Such measures do not constitute “criticism.” Instead, they are dangerously close to advocating genocide.

      • So, like Obama, you’re a Muslim apologist too? LOL, do you go in for genital mutilation as well?

Did you marry a six year old boy, Mr Tights?

      • Not too quick on the uptake, eh? The age of consent according to pedophile democrats ( Ginsberg ) should be 12.

The age of consent should be at least 16.

BTW, do you have reading comprehension problems?

Muhamed married a six year old girl.

      • Robertson is four years older than his wife, Kay and he married her when she was just 16 years old, back in 1966. But this was not when he started dating Kay. In fact, he began dating her since she was 14 years old.

So, one speculates, your party goes for it ???

” But Ginsburg was noting with approval only the measure’s gender-neutral language; she never directly addressed the clause regarding “age of consent.”

      • WOW !

Do you misquote on purpose ? No wonder you’re scatterbrained, you believe complete crapola…

      • Facts are like sunshine and democrats are like vampires.

Fact:“Justice Ginsburg is indeed on the record as having endorsed lowering the age of consent to 12. When she was a law professor at Columbia, she, Brenda Feigen-Fasteau, former director of the ACLU’s Women’s Rights Project, and 15 law students put together a report for the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights”

        http://www.volokh.com/posts/1127335040.shtml

      • First line /lie…

Since posting this, I have concluded that Justice Ginsburg was likely the victim of a drafting error, and the report’s critics, including me, themselves erred in not seeing the error.

      • I’ve read several posts & consider none of it conclusive proof.

I see, you’re simply covering a huge AZZ,,,

      • ” . a typo? A typo that, mysteriously, was transposed from Ginsburg’s 1974 paper to the 1977 booklet? That would be too rich.”

As it happens, I have just today found another version of S. 1400 § 1633 (excerpted in 13 Crim. Law Reporter 3011, Apr. 4, 1973), which did set the age of consent at twelve. This must be the version to which the Ginsburg report referred.”

Ginsburg = all democrats, right ?

Yep, bagger flake, changing the subject & probably a Muslin, according to YOUR proof.

        LMAO !

      • He also lusted after his adopted son’s wife and told him that Allah says he should divorce her so he could marry her. He did but of course got a “revalation” about it before he did it.

      • Christian and Jews practice honor-killings. If I’m looking for a religion of pedophilia there’s always the Mormons who are strictly American.

      • You’re the most uneducated commenter on this thread. No question. Clearly too stupid to learn. A waste of time. Wallow in your ignorance fool.

      • those were not mormons of the LDS faith. they are offshoots who left the actual mormon faith. The LDS do not practice polygamy

      • I know they are Mormons of the FLDS faith. They are an offshoot who still practice what they see as the fundamental interpretation of the Mormon faith. Who still practice what they call The Principle. But see all it takes to tell the difference is a little reading. Same thing with Islam. With just a little reading you can tell the difference between Muslims and terrorists. You will find out that one doesn’t have anything to do with the other.

      • LMAO !

You mean your religion, proven Muslim ?

        LMAO!

I guess, Catholics are ALL pervs, like some priests, huh ?

      • If you believe in the Christ, then you must know that there is an anti-christ. Since the beginning of this earth age there have been to elements at work, good and evil. It will remain that way until the end of time.

      • If you believe in the Christ, then you must believe that there is an anti-christ. Since the beginning of this earth age there have been to elements at work, good and evil. It will remain that way until the end of time. There are no shades of gray—Good and Evil.

  32. Check that massive oxymoron in #5 – “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.” Of what, having no moral conscience ? Killing non-muslimes ? Getting their own to be suicide bombers ? Supporting terror ? Deceiving weak-minded leftists and loony liberals and democRATS ? Using our own laws to insinuate islam into our society, which is the total antithesis of islam ? Abusing women ? Demanding ‘tolerance’ while being 100% intolerant of non-muslimes ? Destroying Christian Churches in the Mideast ?

    • The Quoran gives the Muslims permission to lie to anyone considered an infidel. So Obama has lied his way to where he is. He came here as a foreign exchange student, two, maybe three social security cards and a phony birth certificate. I could have made him a better one in PhotoShop. I believe his was made using a combination of PhotoShop and Adobe Acrobat.

      • The extremely rich Saudis may have contributed to him as a good choice to become president of the US. His parents were Muslim and mother’s parents were socialists (Marxists).

His bowing to the Royalty of Saudi Arabia was because they hold the Muslim Holy Land (Mecca) in their region and take care of it.

And lets not forget George Soros. He has tried to be a nation destroyer all his life. He began by selling out his Jewish friends to the Nazi’s when he was young. He tried to break the bank of England causing them to have a very bad financial problem with the value of the Pound Sterling.

He also broke another country’s bank—I think it was Malaysia—I’m not sure. But he is worth over 500 Billion dollars and has spent a lot on getting Obama and the Democrats elected. All of the Democratic Socialist websites are funded by him. I think Arianna Huffington gets funds from Soros to hire writers and reporters.

According to my research the Democrats have outspent Republicans and other conservatives almost two to one.

The laws governing where politicians get all their money for campaigning are to vague to be enforceable.

  33. #3 “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world — including in my own country.”

He must be referring to Kenya, since Islam has little to do with shaping America.

#6 “Islam has always been part of America”

Almost true. The Barbary pirates were capturing and enslaving Americans within a couple decades of the nation’s founding, prompting Jefferson to read the Koran to know his enemy better. I wonder if he considered having that copy bound in pigskin?

#14 “Throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.”

In a perverse way, true. Everyone is equal when dead. Other than that their demonstration of religious tolerance is that they don’t tolerate anyone other than Muslims. As for racial equality – they enslaved all other (non-Arabic) races equally.

  34. LCOL West, you didn’t musremember! At NO time did Jesus pray in Heaven with Muhammad whi MUST, by HIS own choices, reside currently in the place the Bible calls Gehenna, or the place of the dead, awaitung the judgment. It was Elijah who prayed with Jesus and Moses during the transfiguration, the only trio, or time, connected to any such meeting, to date! O’s GLARING lack of comprehension of the profound difference in the Nature and Character of Jesus, and those of Muhammad prove conclusively he has never known the Jesus Who is the only begotten Son, and 2nd Person of the Triune Godhead as presented in the Bible! As for the “early contributions” of Islam, I don’t consider piracy, kinapping for ransom, and/or murder which eventually led us into the Barbary Coast Wars, a “contribution” any more than I do skyjacking our airliners, kidnapping and/or killing our citizens, and even damaging American owned property to be contributions to our modern life, which they began doing again un the early ’70s

    • I agree with you although LCol West wasn’t saying that Jesus prayed in heaven with Muhammad, but said that he doesn’t remember ever being taught that in Sunday school… in other words he was being sarcastic 🙂

      • I know, he said he didn’t recall any such prayer, and I was confirming his memory as accurate that Jesus never prayed with Moses and Muhammad, only with Moses and Elijah.

      • No problem; that happens with hot-button issues on occasion. I have no doubt if there was to be such an event planned, there would have been mention of it somewhere in the Word. God was very careful about such things.

    • Muhamed Ali, Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Malcolm X are all Muslims. Jawed Karim one of founders of Youtube is Muslim. So yeah a lot of American Muslims you ignoramuses don’t know about.

      • Given that less than 1% of the US population is Muslim, I can understand why most people would wonder about Muslims being apart of American History. Now, 15-30% of African slaves that were brought over to the US were Muslim, but many were unable to keep their religion (although some did practice it). I’m sure there are more instances of Muslims in American History, but it is not discussed much thru most media in this country. As for the three that you mention, they were already well-known figures NOT known for their faith but for their sporting prowess and activist stance.
By the way, the same could be said for other minorities in this country. I have Basque heritage in my family, does this nation celebrate or even talk about the Basque culture in this country? No, most people don’t even know who they are, nor do I expect them to…

      • AngelQ, until you provide something other than hearsay, your words are just words. You state numbers but do not provide how you arrived at your conclusion.

      • Well, I didn’t realize that I was in a college course needing to cite my work. Have the parameters changed? Are you the professor?

This link comes from the Census Bureau and shows Arab ancestry and where in the US:

This link discusses the number of Muslims (2.8 Million) in the US which is approximately 1% of the total US Population (The first two are 2000 population estimates, the third is a more updated estimate):

        This is just a starter…

      • The Basque have a very long, proud heritage. Because of being part of a Basque family by marriage, I know they celebrated their heritage every change they got… at Christmas time they set up Basque Christmas Trees (yes they were actually called Christmas Trees) along with Christmas trees from other cultures in downtown Phoenix, and had my daughter and her cousins dressed in Basque ‘costumes’ leading little lambs (yes, they were part of the Wool-Growers association and only hired Basque herders to take care of the sheep because they knew what they were doing… the same ones came back year after year) There are a lot of people who know about the Basque people and their fight for independence from Spain (which I assume is still continuing today)

      • AzLady – My original comment was to make a point – that there are many, many people in this country of different ethnicities and heritages that fly under the radar in this country. You may know who The Basque people are, but many do not. I explained my Heritage 95% of the time, compared to the 5% of those who had actually heard of The Basque.
Now, is it cool that you have heard of The Basque? Yes, it is. But do I need to go around calling people who have never heard of The Basque ignoramuses like the prior commenter did? No (and hence, my comment to HIM.)

      • GJSmith_62 – Hmmm, I’ve been doing some reading and found a couple of sources that state some of the African Slaves were Muslim. (One is from WhyIslam.Org)

      • It might not have been the norm, but there were African Muslims that came over on the slave ships. We can’t discount them…

      • oh myyy… so only from the ’60s huh? Geez such a history… all four converts with one questioning it after going to “mecca”…

      • Rafael X….We, ignoramuses KNOW enough to know that WE DO NOT embrace the anti-America that You & those like You VOMIT out in Your language!

      • Representative Don Young of Alaska launched his appeal
to bring more Latinos into the “Big Tent” of the Republican Party. “I
used to own — my father had a ranch. We used to hire 50 to 60 wetbacks to pick tomatoes,” he said. “You know, it takes two people to pick the same tomatoes now.”

      • Islam was not part of American history until the latter part of the 20th century Rafael. It was founded not on Islam but on Christianity. You need to check your history. For anyone who can offer something other than what I’ve stated, please provide proof so that everyone else can know.

      • America was founded on freedom from religious persecution not Christianity. It wasn’t until the 1950’s that “under God” was placed into the Pledge of Allegiance. Even then it still doesn’t say “One nation under the Christian God” The majority of early settlers were Christians, they were also Caucasian.

      • So does that infer the Founders meant ‘any God but the Christian God’ ?? Don’t try to rewrite history by saying just because we have religious freedom, that means we are free to tear down or misconstrue the foundation of the Founding, the Declaration of Independence, and the US Constitution !
And can anyone out there point out one, just one instance of the influence of islam in the Founding, or the Constitution, or any laws in place in this country ? Or maybe lessons from history class ?

      • Aside from Malcolm X, the names you listed are not relevant at all to “history.” Malcolm will be known for the murderous thug he was and not for being a Muslim, btw. Now if you don’t want to be here and insist on insulting people, take a walk little fella.

  35. I hate to tell you Colonel Clark but Liberty Alliance has a posting policy against free speech so I was unable to follow your “read more” at the bottom of this article.

  36. I repeat myself but I believe Obama is a front man for the Muslim Brotherhood. Perhaps they have promised him the caliphate?

  37. He does not even hide anymore he thinks his surrendering of America will keep the Islamics away! Total wrong when a group of people follow a pedophile, a rapist, and an animal molester as a prophet they deserve to be dead!!

      • Just like obo did in Afghanistan he announced when and how many troops he was sending to war. then he delayed it and cut the numbers giving Islamics of all areas time to flock to the killing grounds he set up!
He changed the rules of engagement just to cost American lives!!

      • And Ft. Hood was “workplace violence”, as if our troops hadn’t suffered enough, now they suffer for nothing!

    • For generations we Americans have taken it for granted that we are, in fact, a Judeo-Christian Nation. We became complacent. NOW that belief is under attack from Militant Atheists and all of ISLAM. The latter engaged in a violent WAR to become the only religion on Earth! WE are only just awaking, as a nation, to this threat we face from within.
Regardless of Barry’s lies Islam CANNOT LIVE IN PEACE WITH ANY OTHER RELIGION! Even among themselves they kill and maim for supremacy! ISLAM is a cult that should be driven back from every other nation before there are NO others but theirs!

  38. The record is clear and the President has always professed his adoration of Islam and some Muslims. He kills the Muslims he does not like. Most Democrats have made it clear that the President’s attitude, most Muslims and communists are just fine for them. Some Democrats will be surprised when they find Muslims and communists they are supporting will persecute and kill them when in control. Keep on voting these folk in office.

  39. having not voted for Barak Husane Obammme i can say he kept 1 thing right Change I think it would be even better for a change for the better in 2016.

  40. Pardon the commercial, folks, but I would recommend reading Robert Spencer’s book, “Politically Incorrect Guide To Islam”. There, we can find truthful comparisons between Christianity and Islam.

    • Will have to read his book but given the fact that he hates Islam and is a friend of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, so far I’m liking it.

      • I think if any of us want truth we should all be open-minded to read and judge for ourselves… never take one source as gospel but research many sources. I would say that the best source would be to read the Qu’ran and research from there. Just as people should also research the Bible if they are talking about Christians.

      • Unfortunately, the koran isn’t the be all & end all of the religion. the important stuff is in the hadith & sunna. they are supposed teachings of mo written down by his followers, quoting those who were either his close allies or wives, especially the child Aiesha. the koran is a jumbled mash up. It reads by the length of the verses as opposed to a narrative like a book in the Bible. So it is repetitious & can be confusing if you don’t know about abrogation. It basically means that allah changed his mind. If there is a conflicting statement, you go with the one that came last because it invalidates the first because allah changed his mind. Thats why there is “no compulsion in religion” and also “fight them (the unbelievers) until there is no more fitnah (belief in other faiths)”. The 2nd one is the later one. Hope this makes sense. It is rather complicated, especially once you get into sectarian differences like sunni vs shi’a

    • He also has a book, whose title escapes me right now, that compares and contrasts Christian teachings with islamic teachings.

  41. I am nauseated from the magnitude of ignorance and/or wickedness in some of you Zionists. You make so many lies about Islam and and this is against the teachings of Moses and Jesus peace be upon them. You are the servants of the Antichrist and the devil.

    • I am nauseated from the magnitude of ignorance and/or wickedness in all muslims that allow child marriages, honor killings, killing of women raped by men (instead of killing the rapist), the lack of condemnation against jihads killing innocent people…..and the list goes on!

      • Just want to make a point. We in the western world are at a very different timeframe ideologically & technologically. We have the good fortune to be born in the US (or at least partaking of all the benefits of living in the US). Many of the people you are talking about have tribal knowledge (literally) & may not have seen/heard more in their lives than their fathers, etc. for millenia; they & their families may have little or no knowledge of the things we take for granted – hot/cold running water, free education, etc.
When we look historically at the many peoples in the Middle East, we see repeatedly that those in Iran (from the ’70’s to now), & other more cosmopolitan areas of the ME have modified their daily practices to ones more in line with what we in the west think of as ‘normal’.
In general, the more ignorant/backwoods people in those nations are like the ignorant everywhere, more prone to violence. What is normal to us is very different than what is normal to them. If you had grown up herding goats & no one in the family had any education so to speak, except how to herd goats & find water, or what was told to you by your Imam (muslim priest) then you too might behave in that fashion & think it normal.

I agree w/you that it’s wrong – no way round that one. But then you & I are products of our Christian heritage/values as they are of theirs. Just remember that it takes time to change people & peoples… Look at us, people have fought & died for our freedoms…& we often take them for granted here & now.

      • With all due respect, England was in the ME, India and N. Africa long before they came here.
A lot has changed, especially in the last 4 decades, and you will have a hard time convincing me that people that know how to enrich uranium are somehow at a disadvantage.

    • Please enlighten us as to where there is a lie about what is told here about Islam. I am not trying to be rude or mean but I would like to hear from someone who seems to be more versed on this subject that us. So please explain where the lies are so that we may understand what lie is being told.

    • Please then, enlighten us as to the real truth regarding islam, and help us to understand why they are persecuting Christians in the Mideast, and chanting ‘death to the USA’, ‘death to the “Zionist entity ” – –
If we are ‘against the teachings of Moses and Jesus’, does that mean what muslims in the Mideast are doing is following the true teachings of islam ? Also, does islam permit the use of suicide bombers or car bombs ?

  42. Perhaps one of THE MOST alarming of obama’s quotes was when he said “we are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States…” That one made the hair on the back of my neck stand on end because no real American would ever say something that offensive or threatening. Right there I knew he hated America and would try tearing us down.

  43. by now all the people should know that the president is a Muslim, and more than that, he is a murder, and a liar, and many more

  44. I don’t get it. Judaism does not recognize Jesus as the messiah or even a prophet. The Muslim faith does, but Christians hate and fear Muslims.

    • Jews do not want to murder me while muslum do. That simple. muslums are taught to hate and that anyone not muslum it is okay to murder, they believe in rape and that women less than animals to be used at whim and when tired of they can be gotten rid of very easily. They are taught to lie to get what they want. Jews do not think it is okay to rape a woman and stone her to death because it was her fault that she was raped. so many differences but then ignorance is bliss.

    • I’m unclear, are you saying that “Christians hate and fear Muslims” is a normal thing? If so I’m a very abnormal practitioner of my religion, because all the Christians & Jews that I know & have talked w/extensively do not hate or fear Muslims. Many of them are wary of the nutters that do things like 9/11 – Boston marathon, but those that I know are sensible enough to know that the crazies, in every religion, are (thank God) a small quantity.

Maybe sweeping comments are not the best?

  45. Honestly? I am christian and have no hatred towards any one person, or any religion. When the attack on the twin towers happened and people were talking about how that particular race of people should be wiped out; my answer was “Why? Because there were a few bad apples? Does that really mean you have to destroy the whole bunch?” Judgement and hatred confuses me. Who am I to question how someone is raised, or what they are raised to believe in? They don’t demand I take part in their beliefs, and I don’t believe they’re a monstrosity just for having different ones. Back in the day the whole world would marry at young ages to start a family as soon as possible. Raped, murdered, pillaged, arranged marriages. There were countless heinous events that went on. America is, and has always been just as bad as any other country, and yet now we judge others? I did not vote for Obama, but I didn’t vote for the other guy either. Most of you made your choice, all you can do is deal with it’s outcome. But all I can say is the racism I see in these replies makes me sick to my stomach to be associated to other Americans. Most people fear US now, for how America has made their racism towards anyone different obvious. But my theory is, if we were all meant to be the same, we would live in a very boring, very grey world. I welcome difference.

    • Are you kidding? Here you are stating asking “When the attack on the twin towers happened and people were talking
about how that particular race of people should be wiped out; my answer
was “Why”? … then go on to state.. “the racism I see in these replies makes me sick to my stomach to be associated to other Americans”… isn’t that being a bit hypocritical as in one breath you are asking why judge the lot by a few, then do it yourself later in your post….

You are wrong to say that “they don’t demand I take part of their beliefs” as they will kill all those who are non-believers and have been doing so through out the world if you watch the news at all. Christians are being attacked daily due to their beliefs, not to mention any of them who choose to learn western culture and especially any female that does not follow sharia law to the t…

And then you ask “who am I to question how someone is raised, or what they are raised to believe in?” Well I have nothing against anyone raising their children how they see fit, but when the raising of their children crosses the line of abuse or even being subjected to “honour killing” then we all should have a problem with that. No child should be abused and especially murdered because of religious freedom. If it were non-Muslim children being beaten or killed would you have a different look on this? Lets say, the Casey Anthony case?

Yes there were countless acts of heinous acts that went on here and world wide in the past but we have become more civilized, or at least I hope we have, and yes we should judge others as people are being killed, raped, disfigured in the name of Islam. Should we just turn our backs on the victims of these crimes just because it was done on the past and was the norm back then?

No one is saying we all need to be the same, no one is denying anyone to be “different”, but we can’t allow some actions to continue, whether its a jihad against non-Muslims or if it were Christians committing these same acts… it needs to be stopped.

      • Firstly; the who case? I won’t choose one side over another, which is why I only watch enough of the news to be absolutely necessary. Secondly, I didn’t say anything about anyone turning their backs on anything. I’m just saying it’s cruel for people of one country to judge someone when we have the same thing in our history. From what I’ve seen, humanity progresses in stages. Some countries are just a few steps behind. And yes it’s horrible that people die while we wait for them to learn, but where was all this fight when we had out own failures? To gang up on and attack is just as bad as doing the attacking personally. And so hatred disgusts me, so what? I admit I got so flustered in writing out a reply that I said one thing and then another. But it’s one thing for me to judge people of my OWN country, when all I see from anyone in the states is hatred. I see more open minded people from other countries, and It’s all just…so sad, that people can’t be who they are anymore without worry of condemnation. If one person can reply to this with arrogance and racism, I have the freedom to reply with hope for change, and believing that there is a POSSIBILITY that humanity could fix itself, given time and a lack of jumping down one anothers throat. Impatience never got anybody anywhere.

      • Do you see any “racism” in what I wrote? And to only go by “enough of the new to be absolutely necessary” what would that amount be? Could it be slanted in one direction that has caused you to see only the “hatred” in it and not the love and concern it also hopes for? You are not alone in this and this is why we are fighting this issue now and here and abroad. If we don’t stop it in these countries don’t you think we are being un-Christian by turning our backs for now, even if it means some will die?

Where was all this fight when it was our failures? Really, do you read any of the history books? Who fought to stop slavery? Do you think we just suddenly woke up one day and said oh this is wrong we need to stop it? No there were people protesting and fighting these things back then as well.

Tell me Patti, how long should we just let it go? Until all Christians and Jews are wiped out in those countries? Until they spill over into our country and start to kill us?… Oh wait Patti, it IS happening now… to us… HERE in our own country as they have placed a jihad against all Christians and non-believers and want to wipe the Jews out completely… it is in their Qu’ran and commanded that they kill the infidel.. which includes you for being a Christian.

      • I don’t fear death. My first lesson was not to fear death as long as I have faith in the lord. And nowhere did I say you personally–or that any ONE person personally for that matter– in terms of racism. I implied for the racism I have SEEN. I watch people day in, day out. I’ve yet to see the love, that doesn’t turn around into backstabbing five seconds after a person is out of earshot. And nowhere did I say to “let it happen.” There’s a difference between saving the people, and killing to save people. And yes, I read history books; I remember being so angry reading about slave owners and wondering how one person could do that to another. To every one person fighting against it, there were three more fighting FOR it. Now here is a question: How is it perfectly alright for everyone else to have their own views, except for someone who wants peace instead of violence? I can freely accept when someone disagrees with me, and call it “Agreeing to disagree.” But I’m not the one trying to pound what I think into someone elses skull. I came here to voice an opinion and distaste for how people treat eachother. That’s it. But whatever. The arguments are exhausting and to be honest, a waste of time. I generally hate to back down, but I prefer to not leave so much spam all over the page, when I can’t even word it properly when frustrated.

      • There’s nothing wrong with voicing your own opinion, we are all entitled to that but when you say silly things such as using the past to excuse the present and future there is a bit of a problem. It’s like you want to live with your head in the sand and expect that it all to work out for the best when many leaders do not have the best intentions for us.

I don’t fear death either, however, I’d like to live as long as possible. I’m not looking to get killed by some extremist just because we had a bad past just so they can “get it out of their system” so to speak. Thats not how society works nor should it, not even in Gods eyes. Apparently you haven’t really read the Bible to know this, but yet you claim to be some sort of Christian. What Christian would turn their back on someone in need just because your country had a bad past? You don’t make any sense at all. I’m not trying to make you feel bad or stupid but I’m trying to get you to reason this out rationally.

With your reasoning it would then be OK to allow all criminals go because we all have some sort of past. You claim to be Christian but you ignore that the Bible says we are all born into sin, so what would you do if you saw a child being beaten by someone, or a woman being raped, or a man about to rob a bank? Would you let it go because we have a past and have no right to judge?

      • Correctly stated, Rena. (I just love that name . . . from the novel Green Mansions) I would only add another factoid to consider, that is, the Negroid Race is approximately 10 thousand years BEHIND in terms of “Evolution”.

      • Thank you, but what scientific proof is there that Negroid are that far behind us when they can learn as fast as we can when given the proper education to do so? Just a question as I like to see studies and facts when things are stated as fact.

      • yeah you’re smelling something alright LOL you’re so cute, you’ve got your book of little rank outs next to you, huh. Just to let you know, you used that wrong LOL

      • Nope, that’s the saying & I caught a troll, with it.

Yeah, is a good “comeback” …at least for you.

      • you’re right, it’s a saying…but not for that. Now just so you know, trolls don’t comment on pages they are agreeing with. Trolls go to sites…like yourself….and harass people who are fans of the ideas or publishers of the page. NOW if I was on an MSNBC site (which I am not) and ranking out all those posters (which I never do), THEN you can call me a troll. but….

    • I’m all for live and let live but you have made a decision on Muslims based on your own personal beliefs. I have many friends who are Muslims and I have studied their religion and I’m here to tell you that if given the chance the radicals would wipe us off the face of the Earth. I work at a university where there are a great many foreign students who are Muslim and most, not all, but most treat us as if we are beneath them. And GOD forbid that I, a woman, tell them what to do. I would welcome anyone of any religion or race to come here but not unless they pledge allegiance to our flag and our laws . If you come to change us you are not welcome here.

      • I come to change no one. My only thought was to voice my own opinion, since everyone else is allowed to. =/ But the fact purely is that it’s speaking like that: “You are not welcome here” that breeds so much negativity. I have no issue directly with any one person. I don’t side with one over another, as I said, I didn’t VOTE, so I don’t complain about Obama.. There are things Obama shouldn’t have done, and things I praise him doing. Yes, I may make a decision based on personal belief: That a race doesn’t need pure hatred for what you see from other people of that race. Didn’t we have enough of it with slavery?

      • What slavery? Okay, a few colored folk got cuffed around a bit. I’m certainly not a slavery denier. Slavery was the best this country had to offer, FOR ITS TIME, FOR ITS TIME. Everything is relative, field slave yesterday, wage slave today. Great Britain had its slave period. Peasant farmers of Imperial Russia were slaves. Jews were slaves. The very word, Slave, comes from the word “Slav” as in Slavic countries, all SLAVES. Today’s Africa does a thriving business in the slave trade. Open those eyes, Nina. “There is more in this world than dreamt of in your philosophy”. Remember, too, there is no prophylactic for stupid.

      • For its time. I believe I said “Didn’t” we have enough, it’s an example. For that fact, I admit I suck in debate, I take past lessons and put them in present terms, and think people will take the same things I learned from them. What I didn’t expect in giving an opinion was starting a war. So even though probably one one person will see this, since it’s in reply to one message and I don’t know how to directly reply to all at once–or if you can– as it has already been stated, There’s obviously no place for someone like me here. So rest assured, I’ll remove my comments and my account, so people can move onto someone else for now.

      • FINALLY! Someone else knows what Slav means! We were untermenchen, didn’t have to be locked up, we had to be the slave labor because we were sub human. Slavic women were especially favored by the muslim slave raiders for the harams. They collected african slaves and castrated them to guard the women. Everyone has been enslaved by someone at sometime or another. The west actually ended the practice. Muslims didn’t officially outlaw it until the 1980s. It still continues

      • The part that bothers you is ‘you are not welcome here’. Maybe you didn’t read the whole paragraph. We are America, our fore-fathers built this country on a set of laws that has made us the biggest and baddest country in the world. If you want a better life come here and live by these laws. If you can’t tolerate our laws then stay out of this country. YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE! I did vote! I did ‘not’ vote for Obama! I do have a right to complain about the way he is trying to change what has worked well since 1776. Slavery was abolished, thankfully so, and America stands all the better for it. But I will not stand by and allow Muslims to place not one rule on OUR nation.

      • Pledge all you want, but, as Teddy Roosevelt said, “Carry a Big Shotgun just the same”.

      • From one point of view, the Nazis were Christian extremists bent on world domination and the extermination of the Jews. Bad people are bad people. Thuh End.

      • I’m sorry but calling yourself a Christian doesn’t make you a Christian. Those are not true Christian values and that is not what the Bible or Jesus taught. Being labeled by the actions of people like Hitler, Westboro Baptist Church, etc. are the things that I spend my life fighting against. A true Christian doesn’t have to shove their beliefs down someones throat, the light shines bright through a true follower of Christ.

    • yes IN THE PAST being the key words, history is littered with it but we have condemned that. As a nation the founding fathers condemned the unfair political subjugation of the European Kings. As a nation we fought a war to abolish slavery. As a society we protested against unfair treatment. We have a LONG history of standing against abuse. The same CAN NOT be said for Muslim nations. The barbaric acts of their history are still widely practiced today. My grandma always said, “never let a jealous person eat at your table”. It’s beautiful you have no hatred, a MASSIVE number of Muslims is picking up your slack and hating you for being Christian. Don’t be blind. That’s just foolish.

      • Unaffected? Hardly. I had friends in those towers. I cried for them, I cried for strangers. But I wasn’t going to be lowered to the same level as the same hatred that caused it all.

      • I think there’s a middle ground between your 2 extremes that we are missing. There’s a huge group of Muslims in the world, going about their biz like you or I & being good members of the community – throughout the world.

BUT, there are many that have a ‘hard on’ to break the “West” or western world for its’ decadence, $, etc, etc, etc. We have those crazies in all religions.

Unfortunately, the problem here is that in Islam, the Imam (like a head priest/cardinal) is the end authority for what the Qu’ran states. So this guy on earth is THE be-all, end-all authority for what the Qu’ran states.
This Imam can twist the words of the Qu’ran to anything…& because the ‘congregation’ is often unread, unlettered, unlearned, except for the info the Imam delivers…well, I think you see that this guy is the only one telling a bunch of congregants what the Qu’ran is saying. So he can twist it any way he wants. And the Wahabbists (sp?) support that monetarily.

So yes, a majority of Muslims are great folks, it’s the ones as I’ve stated, that are the “bad guys”. They are often ignorant, or in some cases have been radicalized while in college, as they are at the perfect age to “break with tradition” & “show their family” what they are made of…

Just a bug in your ears…not everyone has the time to read & delve & digest the vast amounts of info on “what makes this sort of terrorist” background.

Hope that helps you both a bit…

      • I think what you’re missing is that I NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THE ENTIRE MUSLIM POPULATION. So please go lecture someone else.

      • Nope, no lecture…just a gentle bit of knowledge (which not everyone has) for many people that don’t know as much about the Qu’ran & all that.
I had intended it as gentle/helpful, but maybe it wasn’t?

      • I get your point, I am not an advocate for hatred. I am however not burying my head in the sand and pretending that there are not people who want to destroy my way of life and my country. I’m also not going to PC’ly fool myself into pretending that a good bulk of those people identify themselves with a faith that they feel gives them the right to kill anyone different. See there really is a major difference between Christian belief and Islam. At NO PLACE in the Bible does CHRIST EVER SAY go kill those people who are different. NOWHERE, NO PLACE, NEVER. Where as it is all over the Koran that the Prophet himself did say to kill anyone who is not a Muslim. The “radicals” are acting within their faith. Christians who are mass murderers are not. They are acting in contrary to their faith.

      • No Christ didn’t; but have you read the Old Testament? God orders a lot of people be put to death for a host of “crimes” against him or his followers. ..

      • We were taught by Christ that God is for all and that God is a loving Father not a vengeful God. It was within their right according to what THEY claimed God’s law was to stone a woman for adultery. Christ told them “he without sin, cast the first stone” they didn’t stone her. He came to clarify the word of God which had been warped and distorted. That is why His teachings are the way. That is why the New Testament is the main focus of every Christian’s life.

      • But its pretty sad when a lot of these “iman’s” are either promoting the jihad or not condemning the practices of these extremists, which makes is bad for the “good” Muslims.

      • So instead you bury your head in the sand and expect it to just wear its self out with and expect everyone to just lay down and die to satisfy extremist actions.

      • Long history of standing against abuse? We kill brown (non white) people. All day, everyday, illegally. If you really believe 9/11 was a product of Muslim hate, there is no help for you. Why do you think the middle east hates us? We kill 500,000+ of them to satisfy the 3,000 that died here? That they in turn had nothing to do with anything?
Our government would be satanic if you had to pick a religion. if Obama has to lie and switch religions to appease the American people, maybe the American people need to grow up and accept each others differences.

      • you are so full of crap I can smell it over the web. First you make a racist statement as if that’s what the whole world is about, then you lie about history. You state the “evils” of the government, EXCEPT, Obama. OBAMA oh now he is righteous. I’m not the one whose pathetic with no hope. You are

      • Thats a ridiculous statement. So you dont believe that these attacks were of Muslim hate? Why not, they are still killing in the name of Islam all over the world and you can’t see the hate they have for nonbelievers? Why do they hate us? Its because we are not believers and are ordered to by the Qu’ran. No not all of them are like that but a huge lot of them are and thats enough to keep causing problems all over the world when the rest of these “good” ones wont stand up and condemn the extremist for that they are doing.

  46. In recent years I have come to know a Muslim gentleman very well. Him and his family were here for Political Asylum. I too had fear and preconceived ideas about him as well as all Muslims. But what I found was a very respectful kindhearted peace loving individual that actually prayed to the same God I did but just called Him by a different name. I felt privileged to have met him and to have been able to call him my friend.

    • No one argues that there are probably many Muslims who are very good people, but the point of this article is how Obama is constantly defending the Muslims and condemning Christians or does not show them much favor where this country is the majority Christian here and are subject of their hatred. With all that has happened at the hands of Muslim extremists to Americans and others at the hands of Muslims it’s kind of hard to not to be leery of them, especially as they do not hide their hatred for western culture and non-Muslims.

      • For most of his life, O has grown up in Muslim heavy countries, learned that reality & in general, has had very little Christian upbringing (certainly as a child) at all.

BUT he has had a lot of Christian based upbringing in this country that is more of a militant based (a la Rev Wright), very early Malcolm X influenced diatribes, married lightly to Christianity. And through his family (grandparents) there is a very strong socialist bent – & in general, socialists are -very- down on religion – often excessively so. So some folks may say he’s a Christian, but I don’t believe it. I do believe that his first religion, that based on the Qu’ran, is his primary – regardless of what his mouth proclaims.

When we listen to the words he says & the ideas / ideals he espouses, it is clear that his heart is with Islam…I do not see any other rational explanation that marries all of his works together; deeds, words, ideals.

      • For most of his life, he’s been right here, in America,…

        Dismissed.

PS- Now West has been in foreign countries…

        LMAO !

      • Hawai’i is so far away from the US and the culture is so different it is almost like a different country. They were very mixed and bi racial and didn’t experience as much racial upheaval during the 60’s as the rest of the country. He spent most of his formative years in indonesia. He says that his step father was becoming less marxist and more capitalist & that is why his mother abandoned him with his grandparents. She left barry and went back to indonesia until she divorced lolo. This is all in his books. He was abandoned by his father, then by his mother & raised by his grandparents (one was a bank executive, his grandmother) he went to an exclusive private school. He was not raised in any way like an ordinary, regular, contiguous US American kid by any means.

      • “He was not raised in any way like an ordinary, regular, contiguous American kid by any means”

Ummm can you define what that would be? I have friends born & raised in different states here in the U.S. and their childhood experiences are all different than my own. So what exactly is it you consider an “ordinary, regular, contiguous, US American kid” experience?

      • Seriously?
Ok, in the 1960’s, they had this thing called “segregation” in the southern United States. It was enforced by what were known as “Jim Crow Laws”. These laws required separate facilities for black and white people, all the way down to which water fountains to use and places to sit on a bus. When black people began to fight back to gain their civil rights due them by the Constitution, they were attacked by dogs, fire hoses, clubs, anything you can think of.(BTW Condi Rice actually DID live through this in Birmingham Alabama & was friends with one of the girls killed in the church bombing, but because she is republican, she is considered to not be “black enough”. Col Allen West also lived through all of that in Atlanta, GA, but because he is a republican, he is not “black enough” same thing with Clarence Thomas in South Carolina, shall I go on or have you got it?) This did not happen in Hawai’i and Obama experienced none of this.
In many northern cities, there was an unspoken, unwritten segregation by not allowing black people to move into certain neighborhoods considered “white” They were also kept out of unions too. Those good jobs were kept for whites only, according to the union,( btw, still happens) This did not happen in Hawai’i & Obama experienced none of this.
In the 1970’s, the bus wars happened all over the US. Parents could no longer determine what school their child would attend by what neighborhood they lived in. Under performing, predominately black schools had students bused to better performing predominately white schools. White students were then bused to the under performing schools. It was great for the black students but it harmed the white student for no reason other than being white. So parents, who paid for homes and taxes in a particular place for the school district, protested against forced busing It wasn’t that they didn’t want they black students there, it was that they did not want to force their child into a disadvantage. This did not happen in Hawai’i. Obama did not experience this.

Are you getting the picture yet? When he first came on the scene, black people, including Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton, did not consider him “black enough” because he had never experienced what it was like to live through any of that. His whole life was privileged. Most black Americans don’t go to Ivy League schools either. He said himself that he felt like he had to prove himself to be black. This is one reason why he purposefully chose Rev Wright’s church. It was THE most popular black church in that area that he wanted to organize. He schmoozed Wright til he didn’t need him anymore, then threw him under the bus. He is very much like someone moving to the United States from an African nation, deciding to stay and becoming a citizen. They are black, they are American, but haven’t lived the black experience in America.
Notice I did not say Obama is not American, because he is. I said he has not experienced the black experience in the contiguous US of that time period. Hope this spells it out for you.

    • No Glynda, don’t fall for the falsehood that “Allah” is just another name for the same God. You need to do some searching of contrast and comparison between Mohammad and Jesus. They are NOT the same. I recommend starting with author, Dr. Mark A. Gabriel. He is a former Muslim imam, and spells out in very clear terms, the differences between them.

    • You need to educate yourself. Just one example, Allah says to kill anyone who doesn’t convert to Islam. Jehovah says to love your enemy and do good to those that hate you. These two commands are diametrically opposed.

    • ALLHA IS NOT THE SAME GOD IF JESUS WITH THE HOLY SPIRT ARE ONE WITH GOD HOW CAN OUR GOD BE THE SAME WHEN THEY DONT BELIEVE THAT JESUS WAS GOD ON EARTH

  47. There is a “Jews for Jesus” movement—now small but growing—which recognizes Jesus Christ as being the Messiah of Israel. See the Bible, Isaiah chapter 53. Also, Micah 5:2. There are many Old Testament scriptures which point to the coming of Jesus Christ. If Jews do not recognize Jesus Christ as their Messiah, they have not the excuse that God did not clue them in on His future coming. YES: Christianity is Jewish!

    • Lawrence, check out an author named Dr. Mark A. Gabriel. I heard of him shortly after 9/11. He is a former Muslim imam who found Jesus as his savior. He explains Islam from the perspective of an expert, having formerly taught Islamic studies at Al Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt. He is a brilliant writer and he has a love and passion for bringing his fellow Muslims out of Islam and into the light of Christ. I recommend his books highly.

    • Sorry about this, I have a very simplistic reply to this statement
      DUH!!
It sounds stupid, but if you read extensively as I do…to me Judaism was the “prep” work, the forerunner to Christianity. And, I’m not saying one is better than the other…just that one is prep, the other the result.
I never understood that other folks could not see that simple, direct, obvious (to me) logic…

  48. The Jews never sought to kill large numbers of Christians and destroy Christian civilizations the way Islam most certainly did.

  49. Another book I might recommend reading is Rabbi Daniel Lapin’s book, “America’s Real War”. There, he argues that in a Christian America, Jews have found the safest and most secure refuge for the free practice of their Judaism.

  50. In the early 1970s, I was in the Islamic country of Iran. I found many of the people there to be very generous, but they have one national vice, spelled out by Sa’di, one of their Medieval poets: “The expedient lie is better, than the truth which stirs up rebellion…” It is true that, in any group of people, the worst represent and speak for the rest of them. Or, as William Shakespeare wrote in his play, Julius Caesar: “The good that men do is oft interred with their bones, but the evil they do lives after them…”

  51. As far as lazy arguments goes this one takes the cake. If I take 40 quotes from Bill O’Reilly and string them together in a rap song. Does that make him a secret member of NWA?

  52. “Throughout history, Islam has demonstrated
through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial
    equality.”

    Really?
History’s take is a little different from yours, oBUMa! “Islam” translates as “submission” and that’s
what iSLIME has ALWAYS been about. “Live
by the koran or die by the sword!” has been their battle-cry since their
    beginning.

    Remember the Crusades??? 9/11???
The attacks on the American embassies in Africa??? The first WTC attack??? Beirut??? The U.S.S. Cole??? Mogadishu??? And many other attempts that were
    thwarted???

And what group was behind every one of these
    terrorist attacks?

    • The Crusades was instigated by the Christians.

And the attack on embassies (Iran, countries within Africa, etc.), the Beirut bombing, and a plethora of all other atrocities were all a reaction to actions exercised by the United States of America.

      • Learn your history …

First off the Middle East was predominately Jewish and Christian until Muhamed’s campaigns of forced conversions or death.

Second, the first war the US fought outside this hemisphere was with what group of people?

      • Learn my history? Brother, I’m the king of history.

Prior to Islam the Middle-East comprised of largely idol worshipers in Arabia. Jews and Christians were predominately situated in the Byzantine empire which then constituted Jerusalem – and again, this was located far up north-west from Arabia. The Persians to the north-east were then at war with the Byzantine Empire and upheld the faith of Zoroastrianism, plus, Jews also lived within, and still do.

Thus Zoroastrians and Christians were already killing each other for regional supremacy.

Now, Muhammad never forced anyone to convert; he practiced the teachings of the Quran which explicitly states “let there be no compulsion in religion” (2:256). Do you research ‘historian’.

Secondly, what does the first Barbary war have anything to do with this?

      • LOL … muhammed practiced the Koran? So, it existed before he did?

As for the forced conversions … true, the other choice is death.

Qur’an (8:39) – “And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.”

As for the Barbary Pirates, just another example of Islam being at war with every culture it encounters. Even newly formed nations.

      • The no compulsion in religion verse was when he was trying to get the Jews & Christians to accept him as a prophet. He said search your scriptures, I’m there. It was after they rejected him that all the war verses come. Whenever there is a contradiction in the koran, the more recent verse abrogates the one that came first. So when he said no compulsion, it was later changed to fight them until there is no more fitnah.

      • The Crusades were a reaction to HUNDREDS of years of conquering, rape, pillage, slave taking, piracy, and so on. HUNDREDS of years. They got all the way to the gates of Vienna as recently as the 1400s. Until VERY recently, once they realized their importance as “victims”, suddenly they were crying about the Crusades. They considered the Crusades a victory for THEM for hundreds of years.

      • I’m the dimwit. I said 1400’s instead of 1529. Copied from Wikipedia. In a manner of speaking, the defense of Vienna was a type of Crusade as it brought Christians from other parts of Europe, mainly Poland, to help break the siege.

The Siege of Vienna in 1529 was the first attempt by the Ottoman Empire, led by Suleiman the Magnificent, to capture the city of Vienna, Austria. The siege signaled the pinnacle of the Ottoman Empire’s power and the maximum extent of Ottoman expansion in central Europe. Thereafter, 150 years of bitter military tension and reciprocal attacks ensued, culminating in the Battle of Vienna of 1683, which marked the start of the 15-year long Great Turkish War.

The inability of the Ottomans to capture Vienna in 1529 turned the tide against almost a century of conquest throughout eastern and central Europe. The Ottoman Empire had previously annexed Central Hungary and established a vassal state in Transylvania in the wake of the Battle of Mohács. According to Toynbee, “The failure of the first [siege of Vienna] brought to a standstill the tide of Ottoman conquest which had been flooding up the Danube Valley for a century past.”[6]

  53. Are people really that ignorant to the fact the President Obama is doing one job quite well, and that is being inclusive of all diversity found in the United States? For all of you closed-minded people that believe all Muslims are terrorists, you could not be more wrong. A FACTION of Islamic religion promotes extremist views…not all members. Try to be a little more respectful to other people’s religious views instead of condemning them for not being in line with YOUR personal outlooks.

    • Obama is doing one job quite well: a snow job. He is perhaps the least inclusive President I’ve seen. Yes, he has embraced Muslims, gays, feminists, environmentalists, and others on the left. However, his disdain for anyone he disagrees with (anyone to the right of his views) is quite obvious.

      • LMAO !

Pretty sweet, they worked against him from the start, but you blame Obama for the animosity……

      • isn’t that the point of having an opposition party? Then the two parties work together to have a compromise. That is the way it has always been done until president stompy foot, btw he had the house, the senate & the presidency. He wants what he wants when he wants it and demonizes anyone who disagrees with him.

      • The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.

        Work together ?? LMAO !

      • again, the point of an opposition party. The party OUT of power wants to be back IN power. Do you think there was much cooperating with Bush when the dems had both houses since 2006?

      • Considering the Afghanistan war began in 2001 & the Iraq war began in 2003, I have to ask you can you read? Do YOU think?

      • Wow, you ARE a dumb troll lol
I said 2006, when democrats took over both houses.
You brought up the wars. I gave you the years of the wars which were BEFORE 2006. Guess you go by dumb ass rules.
You are too dull to play with. Dismissed child

      • You made a claim about working together, then set parameters ??

        LMAO !

        Your concession is accepted.

      • Sorry, but you clearly need a GED to comment intelligently.

The church forces their moral code, by denying BC to their workers, UNLIKE other businesses…

      • Simple question even an idiot like you should be able to grasp.

Were you forced to join a church?

Until you can answer that, you’re simply an ignorant troll.

      • He will never admit that the government never forced him to join a church or live by its mandates, however, the government does force us to join their programs and live by their mandates.
It is beyond obvious that you are talking about government force

      • You at least need to have a couple of brain cells to understand the government has no rights to dictate to businesses or churches to pay for BC. Have you no comprehension of our Constitution? “Amendment I – Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”

No where does it provide ‘taxpayer’ mandated funds to pay for your licentious lifestyle. Get a life, better yet get a job if one could find one in this economic abomination freefall courtesy of the administration and democrat party.

      • When the constitution was written, there were no cars, either, right ??

Cars are ILLEGAL & SO ARE ROAD TAXES !

      • The government “forces” very little, leaving is always an option. Especially, since you’re so UNSUCCESSFUL…you don’t even own a car.

        LMAO !

Guess, I’d be bitter, too. If I were as big a failure, as you.

      • Only one church that I know of is against birth control, not all of them. And when these people went to work for that church they knew ahead of time what the requirements were to work for them. They even signed a contract with them stating so.

    • Where is the condemnation against these extremist from the “good” Muslims then? If they are all good people then why aren’t they speaking up about this and doing something about it? And please tell me sir, where in the Qu’ran does it tell them to love their neighbor as themselves? How many times in the Qu’ran does it tell them to forgive and forget and to love and take them in and feed the non-believer?

      • Don’t you think they get enough grief simply for how they look?

Why ‘should’ they put themselves ‘out there’?

      • LOL, so no answer whatsoever. Keep trying.

Where is the condemnation against these extremist from the “good” Muslims then?

      • Where is the condemnation against these extremist, from the “good” Christians on this thread, then?

        LMAO !

        It’s like I have a straight “man” & you’re a dummy….

      • How they look? Really is that all they need to worry about? Perhaps if these “good” Muslims came out and spoke out against the violence then they wouldn’t look so bad would they? But instead they come across as being apathetic and in agreement with these extremist as they don’t or refuse to condemn these violent acts.

      • Do you meddle with the business of other Christians who disgrace your beliefs? If not, how can you ridicule those Muslims who have no connection with the extremist Muslims? And are you well versed in the Qu’ran’s content?

      • Religious leaders of any belief should condemn anyone who brings reproach to their name. Christian leaders have condemned violent actions against others such as bombing of abortion clinics who say they are doing in the them of God.

My opinion on studying it is something everyone should do if they wish to debate it with others, it makes no sense to debate something you know nothing about. I am studying the Qu’ran so that I am better versed on it and thus far I have not seen anything that shows compassion for non-believers but to eliminate them if they do not convert.

      • Christians condemn their own all the time. Everyone knows the westboros do not represent Christianity. When the preacher in FL wanted to burn korans, as is his 1st amendment right to do, he was condemned by Christians all over. Very few Christians think killing tiller the baby killer or bombing abortions clinics eons ago were ok things. Those that do need to read the Gospels again.
If the PM of Turkey and the Ayatollah of Iran can both say there is no moderate islam, there is no extremist islam, there is just islam following the prophet mo, then I have to believe them. You are right about the koran, there is no golden rule, it is muslim or nothing.

    • I can assure you that Jesus would not have ‘tolerated’ a dirty child raping slaver. The dirty Muslims are vermin and their disgusting slaving cult of child raping savages are a blight on the planet. Do not think for one minute that the Judeo-Christian doctrine is without the means and the God-given permission to bring the filthy cult of the kaaba and its disgusting minions to justice even if that means bringing their depraved and sick lives to an early end.

      • Was that Jesus? Was that a teaching of Jesus? No & No.
The priests were following the science of the time, psychology said that they could be cured. It was not until later that it was realized that this perversion could not be cured. AND, the overwhelming majority of cases were not pedophile. They were gay male priests and teenaged boys. That is a major part of the story that is never told because it doesn’t fit the narrative of “pedophile priest”.

      • Well, to put it bluntly, my people threw off the tyranny and self-serving idiocy of the Roman Church some 300 years ago. But even their dirty priests know that having sex with a child is a crime. Mind you there are plenty of dirty pedo teachers, carers in children’s homes, in the BBC all pumping away. Everyone, careful for their own careers, turning a blind eye. However, the child raping slaving cult of Islam don’t even consider it a crime, their own filthy ‘prophet’ was a child rapist. So, stop with your pathetic equivocation. The filthy cult of the kaaba regards child rape, forced marriage, buying and selling females and killing off kuffar men so as to take their women as sex slaves, is not only permitted, or even prescriptive but obligatory.

      • Are you denying that Mohammed was a dirty child rapist? Are you denying that dirty Musilms justify bonking little girls because their dirty ‘prophet’ did it? If so then you are either a liar or an apostate. Either way, it is you who is to be pitied, not someone from a civilisation that has made immeasurable contributions to Mankind in every area of intellectual and artistic endeavour. The ignorant Muslims are too busy raping babies and hacking people up. Dirty vermin.

  54. screw obozo, who really cares what this muslim, kenyan potus wannabe, says,i wouldn’t let obozo give water to my dog……….

  55. Well, I am an American Thinker.

If one starts out with the ‘Christianity’ foot first, thinking you have the ‘truth’ all wrapped up and then goes on to deride those of other faiths…I think you should start over from the start line.

    Respect. Other. Faiths.

    • Really where do you see Christians forcing their views on others? Have you been forced to attend a church?

Respect other faiths? How many churches exist in Saudi Arabia?

      • Why so many questions?

        It couldn’t be more simple.

        Respect Other Faiths

So what if POTUS was Muslim?

        So What?
