Reid calls out Koch brothers as un-American. Harry, ever heard of George Soros?

There are many definitions for the word “coward” but there is no clearer example than Senator Harry Reid. Reid hides on the Senate floor where he has “immunity” and hurls out insults and disparaging remarks.

If Reid had any moral courage, he wouldn’t hide on the Senate floor, but man up and make his assertions where he will have to defend them. So, in true cowardly fashion and typical of the Alinsky model of demonizing a “political opponent,” from the safety of the Senate floor, Reid attacked Americans for Prosperity and their benefactors, David and Charles Koch.

Reid referred to the two brothers as being “un-American” — so much for the whole “civil discourse in politics” Obama was hoping for. I find it ironic that Reid had nothing to say about George Soros, who ranks far higher than the Koch Brothers in political contributions. Soros undoubtedly funds organizations like Media Matters and Center for American Progress, whose former director, John Podesta is now a White House advisor.

It’s ironic that Reid said nothing about groups such as AFL-CIO, SEIU, Organizing for America, NEA-AFT, Planned Parenthood, and others that contribute heavily to progressive socialist politicians. Reid also made no statement about the top 15 political donors in the country being Democrats. Nah, that’s the truth, and we all know truth is to liberal progressives like garlic and sunlight to vampires.

Reid’s ongoing despicable actions are that of a coward who believes he can hide behind his position to attack opposing voices, simple everyday Americans — as he recently referred to American citizens suffering under the onerous Obamacare edicts as “liars.” The Democrats, especially Senate Democrats, are running scared and when Democrats run scared they lash out. They create villains, i.e. the Tea Party is full of racists and extremists, the Koch Brothers are un-American. The objective is to create a chasm between the “villains” and the Conservatives seeking office in this critical midterm election cycle. Hence, the silly sound bite from Reid: “Republicans are addicted to Koch.” Sadly, they believe the American people will fall for this and it seems they always do.

As I learned from retired Marine First Sergeant Jim Reinfinger, “If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, it’s because your tactics suck.” The Republican party better wake up and realize this ideological battle for America cannot be waged using Marquis of Queensberry rules.

The response from Americans for Prosperity President Tim Phillips exemplifies the type of resolve we need:

“Americans know better than to take lessons in civic virtue from Senator Reid, a career politician who has spent decades in Congress, and now descends from his Ritz Carlton penthouse to mislead Americans. It’s laughable that Senator Reid is trying to preach about the importance of credibility, when he has been one of the most vocal defenders of President Obama’s ‘Lie of the Year.’ Instead of taking responsibility for ObamaCare’s failures, Senator Reid and his allies are going after those who have been harmed by the law and brave enough to speak out – and Americans for Prosperity, for giving these Americans a voice.

“Senator Reid is desperately trying to shift the public’s attention away from the health care law by, once again, attacking David and Charles Koch. Ironically, David and Charles create more jobs, more prosperity, and more well-being for Americans in a single year than Senator Reid and his big government policies will in a lifetime.

“At the end of the day, these attacks from the left don’t change the facts about ObamaCare – that it’s leading to cancelled plans, higher costs, lost access to doctors, and stifling economic growth. Unfortunately for Senator Reid and his friends in Congress, Julie – and the millions of other Americans being harmed by ObamaCare – are not going to just sit down and shut up. Mr. Reid is overwhelmingly underestimating the courage of these individuals; attacks from a powerful Senator will not silence them.”

Let us all remember, liberal progressive socialists are cowards who hide and hurl insults, but never address issues. They can’t stand it when you fight back, which is why I get so much flak. The Left will lie and cheat in order to silence voices of opposition. But to them I say Bring. It. On.

When all else fails the democrats, (no respect for them so I do not use a capitol letter), fall back to their typical projections. They know full well they are socialists/communists they know their plan is to destroy this country as we know it. Destroy Capitalism. Soros and the Koch Bros, are virtually the same types but opposite sides of the fence. Using their huge dollars to try to sway public opinion. The Global Economy and the “New World Order” is pushed by not only Soros, but world bankers and billionaires world wide. To believe dingy harry rants as true is… Read more »

George Soros wants to destroy the American economy, and he found the perfect one to do it: Barack Obama–a stealth Marxist ideologue–a man constitutionally incapable of telling the truth about anything, especially himself and what he truly believes. Sadly, what he truly believes is what his real father, Frank Marshall Davis, his old associate, Louis Farrakhan, Bill Ayers, his communist revolutionary friend, and countless other America haters believe: that America is and always was a racist nation founded and run by “evil” capitalists who “exploited” all “people(s) of color” throughout the world. It’s the most absurd, insane, and self-defeating ideology… Read more »

You are correct with the exception that it is not only Soros. There are several fronts this comes from Yes Soros is one, the Saudis are another. The Saudi’s put bho through school paid to have him get into office and he answers to Valarie Jarrett who is their agent. The following link is to insider reports by Doug Hagmann, I have followed them for a year now he has not been wrong about anything so far and this explains all the ties. These old farts in congress think they have all the answers. Most are far out of

Congress was never intended to be a career or a life long avocation. Each member was intended to serve a term or maybe 2 if they were exceptional, and get out. They were to serve at their own expense. These things, plus the term limits and election cycles would prevent the kind of “power broker” mentality that pervades Washington now. I realize that financial conditions would require some sort of adjustment ( the founders never expected the cluster coitus they’ve created) but MUCH change is needed that will be resisted stridently!

Thank you very much Doc! Most of the comments I receive are somewhat less “enthusiastic”. We’ve passed off so much of our responsibility to be aware, to instruct, to keep an eye on the goings on in our government, and to stay abreast of the issues they deal with so we have a good idea what the issue is about, why we should feel a… Read more »

Two wrongs make a right?
George Soros and the Koch brothers are flip sides of the same coin.

Multimillionaires using their wealth to steer the political conversation.
But just as harry Reid is hypocritical for attacking the Koch brothers while not mentioning Soros, you are also hypocritical for attacking Soros while making excuses for the Kochs.

DB1954

No, actually they’re not. They’re not even remotely the same. Sometime after the November, 2004 election, George Soros purchased 80% of the American television media. Since that time, Soros has financed both of President 0-bama’s presidential campaigns and countless other acts of political chicanery, voter fraud, and election theft. Soros financed Obama because he knows that 0-bama is the biggest FOOL on planet earth. Zero is a Marxist ideologue and therefore fits perfectly into Soros’ plan to destroy this country through the most self-defeating political regime and the most anti-American politician in U.S. history.

The Koch’s are libertarians who also donate heavily to NPR, PBS, & the ACLU for example. They base donations on what they feel is working in Americas best interest. None of the top 15 political donators who precede them in amount spent, and are democrats, have done any such thing. Open records of those that follow the laws and keep them verify this. Where this fails for whatever reason the Freedom of Information Act supplies much of this. The Kochs have earned a defense as far as I can see.

I suspect that Reid is motivated more by his cupidity than by leftwing ideology. For Reid, the ideology is only a vehicle to ever greater expansions of his personal fortune and political power.
