A biblical perspective of Islamic totalitarianism

Sunday at our church, Community Christian, we began to study a book called The Story, a historical view of the Bible, making it relevant to our lives today.

In chapter two, “God Builds a Nation,” the focus was on Abraham and his willingness to pick up his family and all possessions to follow God’s direction. Pastor Scott Eynon gave us this definition of faith, “obeying God even when you don’t know where you are going, even when you are not sure where He is leading. It is walking with God during doubts, delays, and difficulties. It is trusting God when the story He presents makes no sense.”

Think about it. God told two senior citizens, Abraham and Sarah, they would have a child and their heritage would populate the earth. Even in their full faith they still doubted God. After all, at Sarah’s age, how could God’s promise for conception come to fruition? So Sarah offered up to Abraham her Egyptian maid, Hagar. Sarah did as we often do in our lives today – think we know what God intends but try to control the means to the end. Abraham complied, slept with Hagar and she conceived a son.

And here is the residual effect from the impatient decision of Sarah and Abraham from Genesis 16:10-12:

The angel added, “I will increase your descendants so much that they will be too numerous to count.” The angel of the Lord also said to Hagar: “You are now pregnant and you will give birth to a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard of your misery. He will be a wild donkey of a man, his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.”

Abraham was 86 when Ishmael was born, and it was from Ishmael that all Arab people descended. Some 14 years later, Sarah conceived and bore a son, Isaac, from whom the Jewish people descended.

If you view the Middle East from this biblical perspective, it is God’s direction playing out in the conflict between Ishmael and Isaac, the Arabs and the Jews, the West and Islamic totalitarianism. Nonetheless, there was relative peace in the Middle East until Mohammad appeared on the scene around 612 AD and introduced a new belief system, Islam.

For 10 years Judaism, Christianity, and this new belief did indeed “coexist.” However when Mohammad was rejected by his own tribe, he departed Mecca for Medina. With new permission from Allah to fight back, this once “peaceful religion” turned violent and spread throughout the Arab nation not by peaceful proselytization, but by the sword. Mohammad returned to Mecca in 628 AD and conquered the city, and as the Angel of the Lord foretold some 2500 years earlier, raised his hand against his brothers and massacred thousands of Jews at what was called the “Battle of the Trench.” Subsequently, Mohammad turned his bloodthirsty quest towards the Byzantine Empire, sending a letter to Emperor Heraclius demanding he convert, submit and be subjugated, or be destroyed — and we know what eventually happened to Constantinople in 1453.

And so it continues to today, not just in the Middle East, but across the world. I am so thankful to have a Pastor like Scott Eynon who makes the Bible relevant and forces us to think in not only a biblical but also a historical perspective. Interesting, isn’t it?

  1. It is interesting indeed. Let’s not make the same mistake as Sarah and abandon our faith in God’s promises. He knows and wants what is best for those who love him (Romans 8:28).

  2. There is something about the Bible that is much more up to date than most current news sources. The bible clearly tells us that Ishmael would be a violent person according to Genesis 16. Not only do the Arabs and Islamics claim they are descendents of Ishmael, it has been established through secular and biblical history that they are the direct descendents of him. Almost all religions and scholars agree to this point. It is of no consequence that they are an extremely violent people, just as Ishmael was. Some people will attempt to denigrate that fact either out of political correctness, it goes against their agenda, or they are just people who are totally ignorant of bibilcal and secular history.

  3. I wonder what God thinks of the religion Islam has become. It is so easy to judge the fruits of that faith because they are so bitter. So hard to try and see it through a godly lens. Maybe they are more afraid of us than we are of them. Will we ever live together in respectful peace after all they have done and continue to do? Will it be another Crusade? Only God knows and the righteous will prevail. If God be for us…

    • I suggest you rethink the Crusades. The public perception of them is quite distorted. The Crusades began as pushback against the slaughtering muslim hordes pillaging and raping everything in Europe – they made it almost to Paris. The European armies were decimated, an mercenaries were hired to do much of the fighting – and some of them were not nice boys. While there WERE atrocities during the crusades, given the reason for them and the climate of the time, they were actually rather civilized. Far more so than the muslim scourge had been which they were pushing out.

      • An accurate depiction of the Crusades was never presented to me in school, even in parochial school where I went for junior high . I got the impression that Christians whitewashed the Crusades out of embarrassment, and the Crusades were mostly not religious but political…and never once was Islam discussed. I don’t recall anyone even mentioning that the Crusades were a reaction to any opposing force. We were led to believe that the Christian nations just went out to grab more land in faraway places, forcing conversion at the point of a sword. I would have appreciated a more accurate account. I have found out so much as an adult that paints a completely different picture!

As a Christian, I have had the Crusades thrown in my face on numerous occasions as an example of how hypocritical, cruel, violent, and evil Christians are. You are right, the public perception is distorted.

  4. Intesresting. Those of us in the trenches in the fight against islam know its not a peaceful religion as liberals love to whitewash the atrocities against christains around the world. Its one of domination by the sword.

  5. I understood that another stream of Abraham’s decendants came from Ishmael and didnt know for sure but suspected it was the Arab nation. However I didnt equate Islam into the mix. I dont know how I missed that!

  6. It would be worth everyone’s time to read these two books of recent scholarship. One is straight archeology and scholarship showing how confused and incorrect many of our beliefs about the Islamic and Roman Empire and later interactions were. The other shows that there is NO evidence of Muhammed outside of internal writings by those who may have just made it all up in the Arab World!!!

    • Not only the Jews came from this, but also the Israelites of which the Jews were part of one of the tribes. Most of the Israelites came to Europe over the Caucasus Mountains into Europe. As the bible foretold that Abrahams seed would be a numerous as the sands of the sea.

  7. That’s why the Arabs are sitting atop the richest land on earth… God blessed Ishmael almost as greatly as He blessed Isaac. Ishmael’s blessing is contained (or locked) to the land, Isaac’s is spread throughout the world through God’s chosen people, the Jews; and also through His Son, Christ Jesus.

    • Jews, of the tribe(family) of Judah are but 1/12 of GOD’s chosen people. They along with Benjamin were not taken captive by the Assyrian, the 10 northern tribes were. They are called the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel(Jacob’s name change by GOD). Some of us know we are of those families, most people do not. I tell this all the time… All true Jewish people are Israelites, but, all Israelites are not Jewish!

  8. I also love how my pastor brings the word into the times we are currently living. Thanks for sharing this with us, Mr West. God bless you and your family.

  9. Love this! I wish I had a preacher like that here. Sometimes life is extremely hard to understand and after hearing that things become so much for clear! Thanks so much for sharing

  10. Rev 20:4 “Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus…and had not worshiped the beast”. Muslims just adore that beheading thing. Just sayin’.

  11. You would be fascinated by the End Times story taught in the Koran. I surely was. It’s like reading Revelation in a mirror. The anti-christ and false prophets are the good guys. Jesus is the bad guy. But it’s the same story. And it should give you a good idea of what faith will be the cause of the universal apostasy that will characterize the Tribulation period, as well as why so many people will die.

      • Its NOT plagiarized – it was dictated by Satan, who knew from his own wisdom and the revelation of God how it all turns out. Satan is the grand architect of the world politics we know – the general slide into wickedness from so many directions, against God and His people, could NOT be random happenings, but MUST be a choreographed event.

      • It is a choreographed event. All things happen according to God’s plan. Do you believe that Satan has some plan that God doesn’t know about? Satan may be an enemy of God but he is still God’s slave. He cannot do anything that God is not aware of. In the book of Job, Satan had to go to God and ask his permission to sift job like wheat.
If you believe in the sovereignty of God then you must believe that ALL THINGS happen according to His plan, including Islam.

    • DMcG , where did you get this crap that Jesus is the bad guy ……. even the Koran tells us that he will return to crush the usurpers, the antichrist and restore peace and justice .

n “The Islamic Antichrist,” Joel Richardson breaks new ground with this devastating account of the possible connection between the biblical Antichrist and the Islamic Mahdi. The Bible predicts that in the last days a charismatic leader will establish a global following in the name of peace. The Quran also predicts that a man will rise up to lead the nations, pledging to usher in an era of peace. The man in the Quran is called the Mahdi, or Islam’s savior. However, the man in the Bible is the Antichrist. Could it be possible that they are one and the same person?

Richardson’s stunning research and analysis suggest that it is. In “The Islamic Antichrist,” he exposes Western readers to the traditions of Islam and predicts that the end times may not be that far away. His book will stun readers who are unaware of the similarities between the Antichrist and the ‘Islamic Jesus.’

Chapter titles include “Islamic Eschatology,” “The Sacred Texts of Islam,” “Comparing the Biblical Antichrist and the Mahdi,” “The Dark Nature of Muhammad’s Revelations,” “How Should We Respond?” and “Preparing for Martyrdom.”

Joel Richardson is a human rights activist, lecturer and artist. Involved in evangelism and ministry to Muslims since 1994, he is the co-author, along with Walid Shoebat, of “God’s War on Terror: Islam, Prophecy and the Bible” and co-editor of “Why We Left Islam: Former Muslims Speak Out.”

    • I read “The Islamic Antichrist” a couple years ago and couldn’t help notice the parallels between how the Jihadists and Christians similarly interpret the end times, albeit from entirely opposite perspectives.

Given the never ending carnage inflicted by these fanatics, disproportionately on their fellow Muslims, there’s no gathering force within Islam opposed to them. I cannot imagine Christians tolerating the same were radical Christian elements out there doing the same to their brethren, or any other groups in society.

At what point do the Europeans, the Russians or Americans conclude that the passivity of non-violent Muslims is tacit approval, enabling the radicals? And, then what?

There is plenty of relatively recent historic precedence where governments become extremist in nature. This Summer marks the 100th anniversary of the start of WW I, when atrocities reached massive scale. I wouldn’t think for a moment that history is done with forced mass emigrations, state terror, ethnic cleansing, extermination, etc.

It’s just a question of if this is done as a fanatic attack to trigger the end times on the part of Shiites, an extension of Sharia law once Muslims have reached a majority through higher birth rates, or western cultures act preemptively.

It will come to this, sooner more likely than later.

      • Yeah, it’s a good read.

Did you know during the occupation of Japan after World War 2 our federal government abolished state Shintoism.

Islam is as much a political ideology as it is a religious worldview. It’s war like tendencies come directly from passages in the Quran. When these war like passages start affecting the freedoms, liberties and lives of others human beings around the world. Then it is time to start a discussion about the abolition of Islam. If the followers of Mohammed cannot police the Mujahideen, then it will be up to responsible nation-states to do it for them.

  13. `I have been trying to educate people on the evils of Islam, for the last ten years or better. I continue to do so on other sites. I’m extremely pleased, for the sake of ALL peoples, that the truth is coming out in force and more people are starting to wake up and see the reality of Islam and the coming End Times.
Yes, it’s a blessing that the Father loves us so much that in His own teachings He warns us of what is to come, by His own design. I’d encourage all readers to research Islam as much as possible. Find the truth now, before it’s too late.

    • Dale, if it was evil , why is it more and more Christians in the West , highly educated and with rational thinking who will not accept hearsay , are accepting Islam…. it is a better way of life … I totally agree with you that readers should research Islam and see the beauty within … it offers what a soul yearns for …. don’t accept media and hearsay comments .. read for yourself and enlighten yourself .

      • Well, mn, for starters, there are few things I detest more than highly educated, intellectual, academics and pseudo-scientists, who in reality, are babbling fools. Man has come to view his own religious creation as a smorgasbord, selecting whatever variety appeals the most to his carnal appetite, and nothing pains me more than finding Christianity among the fares peddled. Jesus DIED for us. His blood, His sacrifice, is PRICELESS. The thought that my relationship with God, through the BLOOD of Jesus Christ, is just another religious selection on the world’s religious menu, is anathema to me. It grieves me to know that the blood of Christ has been so cheapened by the Western church, and the world. Truth is rarely found in the majority, mn. This is a cold, hard fact. Truth is a heavy burden to bear, and Jesus bore it full-force, ALONE, on that cross. All of His disciples fled, and none were to be found, with Peter denying Him three times before the sun came up. This idea that men flocking to a religion proves its validity is false. Numbers mean NOTHING to God, and the evidence for this abounds in His Word. By His strength, not ours. Jesus minced no words in telling us to expect trial, tribulation, persecution, death, and loneliness in this world, but in Him we have more than we will ever need or desire. The prophet Elijah felt so alone and depressed while hiding in a cave from Jezebel, that he called out to God to take his life. God reminded him that he was not alone, that God ALWAYS has His perfect seven thousand, whether we can see them or not. The remnant principle is interwoven throughout the fabric of the Bible. God’s church is invisible, and it is everywhere. His people KNOW HIM, as intimately as a man knows his wife. Every religion in the flesh, is striving to make itself dominant, to look the best, the most desirable, the most delicious, all appealing to the flesh. This reeks of pride, not humility, and certainly not of Jesus Christ, the meekest, most humble man to ever walk the Earth. True Christianity thrives under persecution. Jezebel gets the upper hand when life gets too easy, and she’ll jump into bed with anybody. We may as well be living in Babylon! The demise of a love for Truth, for the true God, and for His Son, Jesus Christ, is creating a huge vacuum, into which many lost souls are falling, and Islam is stepping in to fill that void. God foretold of the rise of the wild sons of Ishmael, truly a great (in number only, hmm, how coincidental) nation, back in Genesis. Today, we have Islam, the barbaric desert cult, a swarm of Biblical locusts, that God will use to execute judgement on an unbelieving world. Islam, and its cancerous effects on the world, are self-evident.You, mn, think you have touched life, in the spirit, through Islam, but
you are touching death, in the flesh, through your own deceitful heart
(don’t be offended-we all have wicked, deceitful hearts, that only God
REALLY knows). I hope and pray that you will reflect on what Islam manifestly is, not what it falsely claims to be.

      • I have mn….and this is the best you can do? Refer me back to your canned comments? I poured out my own, individual, heart and soul to you, and you refer me back to your canned, intellectual, stolen-from-other-men, comments? How pathetic. Thanks for reading my comment, anyway, and may the Lord of Glory, Jesus Christ, open your eyes.

      • Whatever you think … read the Last Testament … Al-Quran .. you will see the difference .. its up to you to just shut yourself out … your prerogative..

      • As we say assalamualiakum ( May peace be upon you)..Oh dear me ? so much vitriol in your end comments .. instead of going on and on , I believe it would be simple to refer you to comments already made in connection with your stand viz a viz mine .. .. basically your laws in the bible compared to the laws of Al-Quran. .

      • No vitriol, mn, simply honesty. You and I are as far as the East is from the West, and so it shall remain. May the Lord of Glory, Jesus Christ, illuminate your mind and heart.

    Etymology

Cognates of Hebrew Yishma’el existed in various ancient Semitic cultures,[2] including early Babylonian and Minæan.[1] It is translated literally as “God has hearkened”, suggesting that “a child so named was regarded as the fulfillment of a divine promise”.[2]

    Genesis narrative

The dismissal of Hagar, by Pieter Pietersz Lastman

This is the account of Ishmael from Genesis Chapters 16, 17, 21, 25

    Birth

In Genesis 16, the birth of Ishmael was planned by the Patriarch Abraham’s first wife, who at that time was known as Sarai. She and her husband Abram (Abraham) sought a way to have children in order to fulfill the Abrahamic covenant that was established in Genesis 15. Since Sarai had yet to bear Abraham a child, her idea was to offer her Egyptian handmaiden Hagar to Abraham, so that they could have a child by her. Abraham consented to a marital arrangement taking Hagar as his second wife[3]
when he was in his late 85th year of age. Customs of that time dictated
that, although Hagar was the birth mother, any child conceived would
belong to Sarai and Abraham (Sarah and Abraham).[4]

Genesis 16:7-16 describes the naming of Ishmael, and Yahweh’s
promise to Hagar concerning Ishmael and his descendants. This occurred
at the well of Beer-lahai-roi, located in the desert region between
    Abraham’s settlement and Shur.
Hagar fled here after Sarai dealt harshly with her for showing contempt
for her mistress following her having become pregnant. Here, Hagar
encountered an angel of Yahweh who instructed her to return and be
submissive to Sarai so that she could have her child there. The blessing
that this child’s father was promised was that Abraham’s descendants
would be as numerous as the dust of the earth. However, the promise
would be to a son of Sarai; yet God would make of this child a great
nation, who would be named Ishmael, because he was of the seed of
Abraham. When Ishmael was born, Abraham was 86 years old.

Inheritance rights and the first circumcision

See also: Account of Isaac in the Hebrew Bible

When he was 13 years old, Ishmael was circumcised at the same time as all other males in Abraham’s house becoming a part of the covenant
in a mass circumcision. His father Abram, given the new name “Abraham,”
was also at this time, at the age of 99, initiated into the covenant by
having himself and the males of his entire household circumcised. (Genesis 17)

At the time of the covenant, God informed Abraham that his wife Sarah
would give birth to a son, which he was instructed to name Isaac. God
told Abraham that He would establish his covenant through Isaac, and
when Abraham inquired as to Ishmael’s role, God answers that Ishmael has
been blessed and that He “will make him fruitful, and will multiply him
exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great
    nation.” (Genesis 17)

A year later, Ishmael’s half-brother Isaac was born to Abraham by his first wife Sarah.

On the day of feasting during which Abraham celebrated the weaning of
Isaac, Ishmael was “mocking” or “playing with” Isaac (the Hebrew word
    is ambiguous[5])[1]
and Sarah asked Abraham to expel Ishmael and his mother, saying: “Get
rid of that slave woman and her son, for that slave woman’s son will
never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac.”[4][6]
This proposition was grievous in Abraham’s sight because of his son and
the bondwoman, Hagar. Abraham only agreed when God told him that “for
in Isaac your seed shall be called”, and that He would “make a nation of
the son of the bondwoman” Ishmael, since he was a descendant of
    Abraham. (Genesis 21:11–13)

Hagar and Ishmael in the Desert, by Grigory Ugryumov (c. 1785)

At the age of 14, Ishmael was freed along with his mother. The Lord’s
covenant made clear Ishmael was not to inherit Abraham’s house and that
Isaac would be the seed of the covenant. Abraham gave him and his
mother a supply of bread and water and sent them away. Hagar entered in
    the wilderness of Beer-sheba
where the two soon ran out of water and Hagar, not wanting to witness
the death of her son, set the boy some distance away from herself, and
wept. “And God heard the voice of the lad” and sent his angel to tell
Hagar, “Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will
make him a great nation.” And God “opened her eyes, and she saw a well
of water”, from which she drew to save Ishmael’s life and her own. “And
God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and
    became an archer.” (Genesis 21:14–21)

    Descendants

After roaming the wilderness for some time, Ishmael and his mother settled in the Desert of Paran, where he became an expert in archery. Eventually, his mother found him a wife from the land of Egypt.[7] They had twelve sons who each became tribal chiefs throughout the regions from Havilah to Shur (from Assyria to the border of Egypt).[8] His sons were:[9]

Nebaioth Nabit (means First-born or First Fruit in Arabic نبيت or نبيط pronounced Nabeet)

Kedar, (in Arabic قيدر pronounced Qaidar) father of the Qedarites,
a northern Arab tribe that controlled the area between the Persian Gulf
and the Sinai Peninsula. According to tradition, he is the ancestor of
the Quraysh tribe, and thus of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad.[10]

Adbeel, (means God’s servant in Arabic عبدالله) established a tribe in northwest Arabia.

Mibsam (means Smiley in Arabic مبسم pronounced Mubsem)

Mishma (means Obeyed in Arabic مسموع pronounced Masmou’)

Dumah (means Sand-Hill in Arabic دومه Doomah)

Massa (means Night Fall in Arabic مساء pronounced Masa’) father of a nomadic tribe that inhabited the Arabian desert toward Babylonia.

Hadar (means The Rolling-Stone one of the many names of Lion in Arabic حيدر pronounced Haidar)

Tema (means “The Good News” or “The Right Hand Man” in Arabic تيمن pronounced Tayman)

Jetur (means Revolt or “Rebel” in Arabic يثور pronounced Yathur)

Naphish (means Genuine in Arabic نفيس pronounced Nafees)

Kedemah (means The Front Man or “Scout” in Arabic قدامه pronounced Qudamah)

Ishmael also had one known daughter, Mahalath or Basemath, the third wife of Esau.[11]

Ishmael also appeared with Isaac at the burial of Abraham.[12] Ishmael died at the age of 137.[13]

    Deuterocanonical references

The book of Jubilees places the location and identity of the Ishmaelites
as the Arab peoples residing in Arab territories. This is the current
view for the majority of the Christian, Islamic and Jewish faiths.
According to Biblical accounts the Arab people traditionally have had
long-standing alliances with the descendants of the Assyrians and the
    Medes.[citation needed]

    World views

Historians and academics in the fields of linguistics and source criticism believe that the stories of Ishmael belong to the three strata of J, or Yahwist source, the P, or Priestly source, and the E, or Elohist source (See Documentary hypothesis).[1] For example, The narration in Genesis 16 is of J type and the narration in Genesis 21:8-21 is of E type.[14]

Islamic traditions consider Ishmael to be the ancestor of Arab people,[2] excluding Arabs who are descendants of Ya’rub. Arabs who are from Ishmael-descendant tribes are occasionally referred to as “Arabized-Arabs” to highlight their ancestry.

Jewish traditions are split between those, like Josephus, who consider Ishmael the ancestor of the Arabs,[15] and those, like Maimonides, who believe that the northern Arabs are descended from the sons of Keturah, whom Abraham married after Sarah’s death.[16]

    Pre-Islamic Arabia

Some Pre-Islamic poetry mentions Ishmael, his father Abraham,
and the sacrifice story, such as the Pre-Islamic poet “Umayyah Ibn Abi
As-Salt”, who said in one of his poems: بكره لم يكن ليصبر عنه أو يراه في
معشر أقتال ([The sacrifice] of his first-born of whose separation he
[Abraham] could not bear neither could he see him surrounded in foes).[17][18][19]

“Zayd Ibn Amr” was another Pre-Islamic figure who refused idolatry and preached monotheism, claiming it was the original belief of their [Arabs] father Ishmael.[20][21]
Also, some of the tribes of Central West Arabia called themselves the
“people of Abraham and the offspring of Ishmael”, as evidenced by a
common opening of speeches and harangues of reconciliation between rival
    tribes in that area.[22

  16. Abraham’s role in Islam is different from that which he plays in either
Christianity or Judaism. Arab Muslims trace their lineage back to Abraham
through Ishmael. The Koran teaches that Ishmael was the one through whom
God’s covenant would be fulfilled. Abraham’s story in the Koran is not as
extensive as that of the Hebrew account. The Koranic account of Abraham dwells
mostly on a struggle going on between Abraham and his father over Abraham’s
father’s idol worship. The Koranic Abraham tries to convince his father not to
worship these things that cannot see, hear, feel, taste, or smell, so he leaves
his father to become a true Allah worshipper and in return for his faithfulness
Allah gives Abraham two sons Jacob and Ishmael, with Ishmael being the one that
Abraham offered on the altar to Allah.

    The
Commentaries on the Koran indicate that before Ishmael was weaned, Abraham took
the child and his mother to Mecca and left them there assuming that Allah would
take care of them. Abraham then has a dream that tells him to sacrifice his only
son, Ishmael, but before he can do so, God stops him. Later Abraham takes
various trips back to Mecca to find out how Ishmael is doing and he builds, with
Ishmael’s help, a “House a pilgrimage for men” devoted to Allah.

    The
Islamic holiday, Qurbani Id (or Id Al-Adha), is known as the
“Sacrifice Festival.” Muslims celebrate this “great feast of sacrifice” on the
tenth day of the last month of the Muslim year. According to their doctrinal
scheme, this day celebrates the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his son by
Hagar, Ishmael, and not Isaac as the Holy Bible records.

    • We all know that Mohammad changed and rewrote parts of the bible on things he wanted to be different so his way of thinking would be what people believed. The Koran was created by Mohammad after the Bible so I think the Bible holds more credence than the Koran.

      • Just about everything Mohammad says about Christianity came from the Apocryphal letters. He was told the info by a heretical Syrian monk who hated Jews.

      • Mohamed was a madman, a murderer and worse. Islam in not a religion, the Koran not a book of God, but a book of death. Islam is a political ideology with the stated purpose of subjugating or killing you.

      • again , hear say …..poor you …please research and read before picking up media filth . As they say … an intelligent person makes rational comments after enlightening himself on the fcats …. lokk before you leap..

      • I’ve done my research, One only needs to look at the lives that the muslims cultures have made for themselves. It is a culture of death. Enlightenment is a rarity in Islamic cultures. Mohamed (death and destruction been upon his hands) was a pedophile and a murderer, a blasphemer and a nihilist against his mother and all women for ever more. You are a propagandist for death “mn”. For those interested in learning about the history of political islam see Dr Bill Warner’s presentation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_Qpy0mXg8Y
        and visit politicalislam.com.

      • Glenn, did i touch a soft spot in you …. when cornered you have no excuse or reason but spill filth out of your mouth .. who is the propagandist here!!!!!.. .it just goes to show how sick you are when you spew froth ………. if anything I have put across views rationally so that people like you who are blinded by media and unsubstantiated facts see the logic and come on the right path ….. no point in argueing with a close and shut case like yours … as I said read and research and enlighten yourself further , it certainly will make you a better person… or pick up a copy of the Koran and read it with a clear conscience ..

      • It is interesting how the muslim will protest when the truth of mohamed (murderer, pedophile) is presented and refer to it as filth. I agree, the work of mohamed and his legacy is filth, destruction and death. You present your rational discourse but fail to initiate the dimmi into the ways of taquia. Our media does try to deceive us with their failure to speak the truth of political islam and to warn of it’s dire consequences for western civilization. We agree that all should learn about political islam and you will agree that for the dimmi, the goal is to subjugate or kill us. There is no other path other than to bow down to your false prophet and moon god. “mn”, why do you conceal your identity? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_Qpy0mXg8Y

      • As I said, you are a sick man … trap shut in your perception…. go and study Islam before making base comments … if I enter your house and am a muslim , I will certainly make an impression on you because of my different ways , does not mean I am wrong or there to destroy .. … that is what Islam does when it enters a household … … this is what happens when Islam arrives at your doorstep ….you are drawn to it becuase it is the religion of humanity .. it is a way of life … Islam is not a new belief , as Allen West puts it , it is the old religion as practiced by Adam, Noa, Abraham Moosa, and Isa … Mohamed came to cement the old good ways ….it is not political Islam that changes the arena , … it is a natural attraction, that is, the human yearning spirit to seek the truth that wins in the end ……because old fashioned moral ways are incompatible with the current way of life, you find it extremely difficult to digest and change your ways .. in the final outcome you realise that spiritual enlightenment comes from accepting what is good for you … good old abiding Christians are by their very nature “muslims” …they follow the true Injeel as declared by Jesus ( pbuh) and confirmed by the Koran……..

my identity is my privilege , as long as I don’t offend you….

      • My perception is not shut, it has been enlightened by the study of the great religions of the world since I was 16, I am now 56. For the novice, I highly recommend Dr Bill Warner’s discussion of the history of Islam, mentioned elsewhere in my previous posts. So, I have done a study of the Koran, the Siras, and Hidiths. It was not the religion practiced by Adam, Noah and the prophets of the Tora and Old Testament of the Christian Bible. Islam is designed to entice you with the teachings of Mecca, but then there is the aftermath, the political Islam of Medina. It is a system designed to lure the individual who’s yearning heart seeks the truth, to entice them with the stability of the “old fashioned moral ways” and then to leave them prostrate with their face in the dirt as a subjugant to to a false prophet, just like you without a individual identity. If you were to come to my house I would want to know who you are; you hide behind your privileged identity, a faceless, nameless subjugant to Allah. You do offend me by reciting your lies to my fellow citizens. For those of my fellow citizens who do have the intellect to discriminate wisely, consider:
What does Islam and Radical Islam have in common?
        1. they share the same mosque.
        2. they share the same Iman.
        3. they share the same Quran.
        4. everything is based on their religious beliefs.
        5. they seek to control.
6.The people of Islam dont condemn what the people of Radical Islam do or vice versa.
        7. Islam and Radical Islam are racist.
        8. Islam and Radical Islam dislike Jews.
        9. The Iman get richer from both Islam and Radical Islam.
        10. Their mosque are used as sleeping quarters for both Islam and Radical Islam.
        11. Islam and Radical Islam practice Taquia to the Kafir
        12. They share the same God, Allah.

Mr Privileged “mn”; do you dispute any of the 12 items above? Please tell us of the muslim relationship to the Kafir, and how you practice taquia?

      • Why Is
        Islam Popular?

Wilson: History indicates that Islam spread in its early times through
Asia, Africa, and Europe very rapidly. Probably no other religion spread
throughout the world as fast as Islam did. There must be some distinguishing
features in Islam that caused its rapid growth and made it so phenomenal.

        I would like
to know those factors which contributed to its rapid growth.

Chirri: There are many factors which contributed, and are still
contributing, to the spread of Islam. Among them are the following factors:

        1. THE HOLY
        QUR’AN

        It is an
undeniable fact that the Qur’an is a living book that has influenced millions
of people through its beauty and style. The superiority of the Qur’anic
discourse was, and still is, challenging. The Qur’an itself called upon its
opponents to try to produce a discourse that measures up to it.

        The Qur’an
repeatedly states that if the opponents will produce at any time a comparable
discourse, they will automatically disprove the whole faith of Islam. The Qur’an
has remained standing above and beyond any comparison in the whole Arabic
literature ever since its revelation in the 7th century The Holy Qur’an,
therefore, has remained since the time of its introduction until now a great
source of attraction for the Islamic faith.

        2. THE
PERSONALITY OF THE PROPHET OF ISLAM

        Mohammad was
born under the shining light of history. No cloud has shrouded his birth, his
existence or his life among his people. If any other prophet is considered a
part of the religious history, Mohammad is a part of both the religious and the
        world history.

        Mohammad was
born in Mecca from a well-known father and mother and lived with his people
forty years before he was commissioned as a prophet of God. He was observed by
the people during his childhood and manhood. He was noticed by all his
associates as an example of honesty and integrity. People never found in him a
fault. They called him the Truthful, the Trustworthy.

        Mohammad did
not live as an isolated person. On the contrary, he associated with the people
constantly. As a businessman, Mohammad travelled and associated with people
from all walks of life, but he was never affected by their low desires or
worldly ambitions. He lived in a pagan society, dominated by idol-worshippers,
but he never subscribed to their ideas, nor did he join them in their faith. He
lived in that world as a world to himself. He was respected by his enemies and
admired by his friends, and no prophet in history received as much as Mohammad
did of spontaneous obedience from his companions.

        3. THE STRONG
        FAITH OF THE EARLY MUSLIMS

        Due to the
complete honesty and the influence of the appealing personality of Mohammad,
the faith of his companions in him was unusually strong. It was based on their
first-hand acquaintance with his exemplary life.

        We are told
that the followers of Moses refused to enter Jerusalem when commanded to do so
and told him that he and his Lord should go to fight the enemies. We are told
that the multitudes who had gathered around Jesus deserted him when the crisis
came. Even his disciples deserted him. His chief disciple denied him three
times before dawn on that fateful night. Similar situations happened to most of
the prophets. None of them enjoyed a true support from their followers when they
        encountered a crisis.

        The
companions of Mohammad, however, were different. When Mohammad was in Mecca, he
and the hundreds of his followers were powerless and without any legal
protection. All of them stood the test of the crisis, and none of them abandoned
the faith or the Prophet. The actions of those Muslims proved their faith in
Islam and the Prophet. All of them preached Islam and practiced what they
preached, and every genuine Muslim gave his faith a genuine support in word and
        in deed.

        4. THE PRINCIPLES
OF ISLAM WERE A GREAT SOURCE OF ATTRACTION BECAUSE THEY WERE, AND ARE, LOGICAL
        AND CLEAR

        Upon serious
thought, one can easily accept a religious teaching which declares the
        following: There is no God but the Almighty Who created the whole universe;
none is worthy of worship but He; He is the Lord alone, without partner,
associate, or son; He did not beget nor was He begotten, and nothing is like
Him; He is the Just, the Merciful, and the Powerful, neither anthropomorphic
nor physical; and His power encompasses the whole universe.

        Such a simple
and uncompromising monotheism is readily acceptable to the human mind which
seeks an explanation to the existence of the world. It does not confuse the
human mind by stating that God is One and that He, at the same time, is more
than one. Nor does it represent God as a human being born out of another human
        being.

        5. THE
PRINCIPLES OF ISLAM ARE CONSISTENT AND COHESIVE

        They do not
contradict each other, nor do they contradict any other established truth.
Christianity, Judaism, and Islam all advocate the justice of God and His
fairness. Islam, however, takes this fundamental concept and follows it
thoroughly. It builds on it many other religious concepts which follow the
concept of justice inseparably. When God is just and fair, He does not impose
on any soul to do what is beyond its ability. Islam tells us also that the Most
Just does not hold an individual responsible except for what he does by his own
choice. He does not hold a person responsible for the sins of his father or
forefathers because he had no control over their actions.

        Islam tells
us also that because God does not hold a person responsible for what his father
did, He does not condemn the whole human race for a sin that was committed
before the existence of any human generation. Such a condemnation is
contradictory to the concept of the justice of God Instead of burdening mankind
with the original sin, Islam tells us that every human being is born pure and
free of any sin, and will stay so, until he commits a sin as an adult.

        6. THE
PRINCIPLES OF ISLAM HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE TOWARDS ALL ASPECTS OF THE HUMAN
        LIFE

        Islam, unlike
many other religions, stresses the importance of both the spiritual and
material aspects of the human life. God, according to Islam, does not want man
to neglect his biological needs, nor is there an intrinsical conflict between
our response to these needs and our spiritual development. On the contrary, the
two sides are interdependent. They merge in each other and can be united in
most of the human activities. A man who lacks the necessary food, warmth, and
shelter, can hardly meditate, perform a devotional duty, or do good for other
human beings. But when such necessities are satisfied, man can easily direct
        himself to his Lord.

        Therefore,
the well-intended work for meeting the bodily needs ought to be a portion of
our religious duty. Religion, according to the Islamic teaching, does not aim
at suppression of the biological desires; it aims at cultivating them and
preventing the individual from becoming excessive and harmful to himself or to
        society.

        7. THE
        PRINCIPLES OF ISLAM ARE UNIVERSAL

        The
universality of the Islamic teaching can be shown in its non-discriminatory
teaching in regard to the human race, and in the recognition of all the
        previous prophets.

        Since the
time of its birth, Islam has carried the brand of universality. It addressed
itself to the whole human race, discriminating neither among nations nor among
ethnic groups. Every human being is a member of a huge family. No individual or
nation is God’s chosen or favorite creation because of birth, nationality, or
belief in a particular dogma. People are equal in the sight of God, and
everyone may have an access to the kingdom of God, if he (she) is righteous.

        A truth never
contradicts another truth. Therefore, Islam proclaims that there is only one
heavenly religion which has been revealed at different times to the prophets
whom the Almighty had commissioned to convey His messages to mankind. It is
inconceivable that the Almighty would reveal a certain doctrine to one
messenger and then reveal to another messenger a doctrine that contradicts the
first one. The Almighty has revealed his heavenly principles, commandments and
laws at different stages of the human civilization according to the capacity of
the human understanding. The subsequent revelation supplements, and never
contradicts, the previous ones. Therefore, Islam says that it is a duty for
every Muslim to recognize and respect Jesus, Moses, and all true prophets and
their true teachings. This is repeatedly recorded in the Holy Qur’an:

        “Say: We
believe in God and (in) that which has been revealed to us, and to Abraham, ..
.and that which was given to Moses and Jesus, and that which was given to the
prophets from their Lord. We do not make any distinction between any of them,
and to Him do we submit.” 2:136

        The
Christians who were in contact with the Muslims in the early days of Islam
observed the great respect the Muslims had for Jesus. As a result, millions of
them embraced Islam, not because they wanted to abandon the teaching of Jesus,
but because they wanted to continue their adherence to his true teaching within
        the coherent teaching of Islam.

Wilson: Does Islam advocate sending missionaries to convert non-Muslims
in a manner similar to that which has been practiced in Christianity?

Chirri: Islam, like Christianity, invites people to its principles and
calls upon the non-Muslims to join its followers. However, Islam has never
organized missions such as those of Christianity. Whenever a non-Muslim shows
an interest in learning about Islam, it is the duty of every Muslim to inform
him. Such work, however, is far from being organized missions.

        The absence
of clergy in Islam was one of the reasons for the absence of organized missions
parallel to those of Christianity. Another factor is that a great number of
Muslims incline to believe that Islam would spread without missionaries. This
inclination was a result of many spectacular gains for Islam through no great
efforts on the part of the Muslims.

        Millions of
people in many countries embraced Islam, not through organized missions, but
through their contact with some Muslims who impressed them with their integrity
and sound principles. Those Muslims imparted the ideas of their faith to the
others, not because they were sent by some authorities as missionaries, but
because they believed that Islam is every Muslim’s business.

        I have been
in West Africa several times. I found numerous Christian missionaries in that
part of the world, but I failed to see any organized Muslim missions. In spite
of this, the consensus of the opinions of the informed circles in this field is
that Islam is spreading more rapidly than Christianity in that area.

Wilson: Do you have any information about the number of Christian
        missionaries throughout the world?

Chirri: The number of Christian missionaries throughout the world
(according to the Detroit News of Sunday, April 2, 1961) is 212,250. This
figure includes 170,000 Catholic missionaries and 42,250 Protestant. This huge
army of missionaries is supported by thousands of religious organizations who
are spending billions of dollars every year on these missions. Compared to
this, the Muslims have some information centers whose number throughout the
world does not reach one thousand. These centers do not enjoy any of the
financial support which the Christian missionaries receive, nor do they aim at
converting others. Their work is only to inform, within their limitation, those
        who seek information about Islam.

Wilson: Some people attribute the spread of Islam to its leniency. They
think that Islam is less demanding of its followers than other religions such
as Christianity. What is your comment?

Chirri: I think that this opinion is not sound. Islam demands from its
followers more than many other religions do. It demands from the Muslims to
pray five times a day: before sunrise, at noon, in the afternoon, at sunset,
and in the evening. It requires Muslims to fast thirty consecutive days every
year during the month of Ramadan. A fasting person is required to refrain from
eating, taking any liquid, and smoking from dawn to sunset. Islam requires
every physically and financially capable adult to make a pilgrimage to Mecca
and all the holy places in it and its vicinity, where men are to renounce all
luxuries and materials including sewn clothes for a considerable time.

        Islam also
requires every Muslim to give a portion of his wealth every year to charity. It
prohibits liquor and pork. None of these things are easy, and none of them show
a leniency on the part of Islam. Nor is there any leniency in its demanding
from its followers to treat others in a brotherly manner, protecting their
reputation and refraining from saying anything that may expose them, even those
        who do them harm.

Wilson: Some critics say that Islam promises the good Muslims a paradise
in which they will enjoy everything they may desire. These critics think that
Islam out-promises Christianity, and therefore, it is attracting people through
        its promises.

Chirri: A promise is attractive only if it comes from a reliable source.
If a reputable company offers an individual a well-paying job, he is likely to
accept the position. On the other hand, if the same individual is offered a
position by an unreliable or a bankrupt firm, he is expected to refuse the
offer because he will not have any confidence in the firm’s financial
        reliability.

        Similarly, I
do not think that a convert would be willing to perform so many duties and
renounce so many desirable things for the sake of promises if he does not have
the confidence in Islam. No promise is attractive if it is made by an
unreliable source. Attractiveness of a promise is a result of confidence. Faith
in Islam, therefore, precedes the attractiveness of its promise, not vice
        versa.

Wilson: History shows that the early Muslims were militant and warriors.
Many armed conflicts between Muslims and non-Muslims took place in Syria,
Egypt, North Africa, Spain, and many other places. Some critics think that
Islam was spread by force, and not by preaching and discussion.

Chirri: Force may conquer the body, but it cannot conquer the spirit.
You may subdue an individual or community by the use of force, but you cannot
make them believe that you are right. The Algerians were dominated by colonial
France for about a hundred years, but that did not make them love their rulers.
As soon as they had the opportunity, they rose in arms against their masters
        and broke their yoke.

        It is
illogical to believe that Islam had spread itself by force. Mohammad, as one
person, could not force thousands or hundreds to embrace his faith. History
testifies that Mohammad lived thirteen years in Mecca after he proclaimed his
faith, under a constant threat from his opponents who were the overwhelming
majority of the Meccans. Anyone that desired to join Islam was denounced,
threatened, and persecuted by the Meccans; and, in spite of this, the number of
Muslims steadily increased. Can we conceive that Mohammad under these
circumstances could convert people by force when he himself was a subject of
        persecution?

        At a later
stage, the Muslims had become powerful enough to fight their opponents; and history
shows that they did fight for Islam. But this does not mean that Islam had
converted people by force. There are now over 100 million Muslims in
Indonesia and scores of millions in West Africa. All these millions were
converted through peaceful contacts with Muslims who came to these areas as
        merchants or educators.

        There is,
however, no reason to deny that Muslims were militant The Muslims actually were
good defenders of their freedom We know that no ideology would spread or live
in an unfree society. Freedom of belief, practice, and speech, are necessary
for the growth of any ideology. In the absence of a constitutional protection
of freedom, it would be the duty of the people of the ideology to secure their
freedom on their own. If this does not justify the military might of the early
Muslims, there will be no way to justify the military might of any modern
nation that rises in arms to defend its freedom when it is threatened by its
        adversaries.

      • Glenn, wow … 56 years old !! … never expected such language from a mature person like you …… anyway ….
by the way I am 58 years old, am a finance professional, live outside USA ( not a US citizen ) , am an Asian by origin and have worked mostly in Christian organizations, have Christian friends, who respect me for what I am, and are aware of the principals and strong moral values that Islam dictates, studied comparative religion as a passion, and am a progressive modern muslim.

      • Islamophobia was a word coined by muslim brotherhood operatives in the USA several decades ago in an attempt to confront and silence those knowledgeable about the islamic taquia, those warning our fellow citizens of the REAL DANGER to western civilization of the philosophy and politics of Islam.

      • Here
are some opinions of Mohammed by a few well known persons in history what you
say as primitive: Alphonse De Lamartine a French writer: “If greatness of
purpose, smallness of means and outstanding results are the three criteria of
human genius, who would dare to compare any great man in modern history with
        Muhammad?”

Michael H. Hart, a Jewish astrophysicist writing in his “the 100: most
influential persons in history said “My choice of Muhammad to lead the list
of the world’s most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be
questioned by others. But he is the only man in history who was supremely
successful on both religious and secular levels. It is this unparalleled
combination of secular and religious influence which I feel entitles Muhammad
to be considered the most influential single figure in human history.

One can understand your stand if you have read and attained some scholarship in
the interpretations of Quran and I assume you have not?

Correct me if it is not true. I doubt it because you say that with no
        substantiation what so ever.

        Brain washed?

Give me a break….. Muslim Brotherhood influencing the Millions of America Muslims….. wow .. that a far fetched one …
        Watch Peace TV…. bye

      • Now you are a schizophrenic talking to your imaginary friends. So who are you MN? You fail to answer my several simple questions, but instead waste our time with your voluminous propaganda. You mention Mecca but not Medina, you mention Islam just magically spreads about. The truth is that Islam’s greatest expansions were with the sword. Submit to Allah or die. Pay the dimmi or die. Your latest bout of literary diarrhea is a great example of “taquia” or deception and lies to non believers. The Saudi Wahabi’s haven’t been funding thousands of mosques and imams in the US and abroad? There is no plan by the muslim brotherhood to make the US a muslim land? Your presentation is riddled with lies and propaganda.

      • It does not matter what Abdalla Yusufali writes. For Islam, it starts with the Koran; the early koran is from mecca (109:1 you have your own religion, I have mine), the latter koran is from medina (8:12 I shall cast terror into the hearts of the kafirs. Strike off their heads…). As a muslim, the koran instructs you to emulate mohamed, it only matters: what did mohamed do?, We have his traditions (hadiths) and his biography (siras). mohamed perpetrated violence and evil against the world in his own time (jihad). Islam is Allah and Mohamed, not what muslims (mn or Yusufali) do. Most of Islam is about how to treat the kafirs (unbelievers). Islam= Worship of Allah + imitation of mohamed. If you practice Isalm you worship allah (the moon god) and you imitate mohamed (practice jihad). You (mn) lie and deceive the kafirs and position yourself to subjugate or kill us. Islam is evil, it is no religion, Islam is a political ideology which plots to destroy western civilization in order to impose Sharia.

      • cannot go on with a stereotype islamaphobe…..just go on watching, as Islam the religion of truth ( not radical islamists) ..grows ..Your Quote ” For Islam, it starts with the Koran; the early koran is from mecca
(109:1 you have your own religion, I have mine), the latter koran is
from medina”… where did you get that crap from ….. the Koran has not changed for the last 1400 years …. ….. your US statistics say it is the fastest growing …. 1.2 billion and growing .. PEW ( the US institution that collects demographics) states that by 2020 it will surpass all religions…… the Vatican confirms that Islam now has overtaken Christianity in the Vatican,

Reuters Mar 30, 2008 – VATICAN CITY (Reuters)
        – Islam has overtaken Roman Catholicism as the biggest …
“For the first time in history we are no longer at the top:
the Muslims have overtaken us,” Formenti told …
        This discussion is now closed.”……..
it states that it is matter of time when most of Europe will convert ,… ..in the last 20years no Islamic Country has invaded any West country and yet the numbers go on increasing in the Western hemisphere.. who would want to associate with a vicious cult if it was not true, Islam is the answer to your problems .. Islam is destined to conquer all “isms” .. as the true religion of mankind… which states that you must submit to your creator … today islam is the only religion which practices the laws as were practiced by ALL the prophets since Adam…. if you can’t digest this it is not my problem … you can circle round your own perceived notions as picked up from media and non substantiated sources……don’t start giving me lectures about radical islamists ( radicalism exists in all religions as history has proved it ) , etc , etc …. see you…. bye and good luck to you…..

      • The Muslim Brotherhood’s mission statement, and it was written in 1987, so it’s been in implementation for over 20 years.
“The Ikhwan [The Muslim Brotherhood’s name for itself] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”
There is a similar strategy being implemented in Europe.

Islam the religion of truth = radical islam; what would mohamed do? There is no difference. There is no moderate Islam, what would mohamed do? JIHAD!!

      • n 1978, Jewish American astrophysicist Michael H. Hart (born April 28, 1932) released a book
titled “The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History”.
This book, which has sold over 500,000 copies to date, has been
somewhat controversial, not least due to its placing of Prophet Muhammad, the founder of Islam, over Jesus Christ, the founder of Christianity.

This has led to the list, as with Paul Vallely’s list of “20 greatest Islamic inventions”, being used for the purpose of Islamic propaganda. Its choice of Muhammad as the most influential person in history has been, and still is being, celebrated on numerous Islamic websites and blogs, used in various videos on user-contributed media sites, and has been cited during the course of countless forum discussions.

      • Jesus wasn’t the founder of Christianity Jesus was the reason for Christianity big difference. He is God’s son. Not some wack job Arab that get their jollies from molesting little girls and dumping people in tubs of acid while they are still alive. Of course he was number 1 in influence, who is going to defy him when the results is a slow death. Just because he was number 1 doesn’t mean he was good.

      • Its your perception …. substantiated info lacking ..
Read and research before you put your ill concieved thoughts on paper ..

      • How can a man who could not write or read create siuch a massterpice of literature, the Koran. You simply have to give credence to the fact that this wrtings were from no mortal , the language , the phrases , the consistency cannot be and has never been achieved by any human genius todate , yes , todate . Research , and enlighten yourself befire making base and unsubstantiated comments . Why would Cristians historians, writers , researchers agree that this is one book which has unmatched beauty . I simply ask you to get a copy and read with and open and enlightened heart and see for yourself .

      • what “massterpice?” You have a bunch of folk scared to death that their head will be chopped off, like in North Korea, or so involved in the murder of their religion that they are afraid to leave it, not having a homey in the world to protect them from justice, you will hear a lot of praise for the thing that when read cannot produce doctrine of any consistency…only your secondary so called revelation, being the imaginiations of those smarter than Muhammad, tries to make some sort of story out of it.

      • I could easily rest my case from your very comment that gives amen to my statement “only your secondary so called revelation, being the imaginiations of those smarter than Muhammad, tries to make some sort of story out of it.”

      • Before the onset of the Islamic anti-scripture, the Biblical
tradition found in BOTH Hebrew Scripture we call the Old Testament and the
Christian Scripture we call the New Testament is the basic interpretive schema
called the law of two o three witnesses that establishes a matter. This is not OLD Testament being a first
testimony and the NEW Testament being a second testimony, but the whole of
scriptures found within each together is an ARCHIVE of testimony FULL of individual
testimonies that are gathered two and three before us and interpreted. In truth while the Bible is a SOURCE of
teaching it actually has few teachings
or DOCTRINES. We gather the teachable
material by setting together several scriptures focusing on a single concept
and obtain a TRUTH or doctrine by means of an analysis of these.

This is simply the same thing introduced by Moses in the
Torah (his five volume law) when he introduced this same concept in terms of
dealing with things relating to capital punishment:

        Numbers 35:30(KJV)

30 Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by
the mouth of WITNESSES: but ONE WITNESS shall not TESTIFY against any person to
        cause him to die.

        Deuteronomy 17:6(KJV)

6 At the mouth of TWO WITNESSES, or THREE WITNESSES, shall he that
is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of ONE WITNESS he
shall not be put to death.

        Deuteronomy 19:15(KJV)

15 ONE WITNESS shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or
for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of TWO WITNESSES, or at
the mouth of THREE WITNESSES, shall the MATTER BE ESTABLISHED.

And this was Introduced upon what Moses has Joseph the son
of Jacob (Israel) say concerning his interpretation of the dreams of Pharaoh:

        Genesis 41:25-26,32(KJV)

25 And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is ONE:
God hath showed Pharaoh what HE IS ABOUT TO DO.

26 The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good
ears are seven years: the dream is ONE….

32 And for that the dream was DOUBLED unto Pharaoh TWICE; it is
because the THING IS ESTABLISHED BY GOD, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

Don’t be too disturbed if you have not heard of this in that
it is our fault not pressing these things in a more pedantic manner.

        There are two corollaries to
this manner of obtaining doctrine, and they are stated, I admit, by
myself in that I cannot refer you to any Christian/Hebrew Theologian for the
        breakdown, as follows:

Corollary One: In the mouth of ONE WITNESS shall no matter
        be established.

Corollary TWO: In the mouth of TWO or THREE witnesses shall
        a matter be established.

Corollary One is found in that part where Moses says that
one witness cannot cause a man to be put to death, and where Jesus says in John
“If I bear witness of myself my witness is not true,” and where Peter says in
this corrected translation of the Greek of 2 Peter 1:20 “This first knowing
that every prophecy of scripture is NOT OF ITS OWN INTERPRETATION.” So you see even this portion of the law of
multiple witnesses is found in BOTH Old and New Testaments.

Corollary Two is that part where it says that in the mouth
of two or three witnesses a man CAN be judged worthy of death or a matter is
        established. The New Testament
restatement of this corollary can be found here, first from the mouth of Jesus
and then from the writing of Paul,

        Matthew 18:15-20(KJV)

15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell
him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast
        gained thy brother.

16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or
two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be
        established.

17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the
church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an
        heathen man and a publican.

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be
bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in
        heaven.

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as
touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father
        which is in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am
I in the midst of them.

        1 Corinthians 14:27-33(KJV)

27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by
two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one
        interpret.

28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the
church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let
        the first hold his peace.

31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all
        may be comforted.

32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as
in all churches of the saints.

I presented this concept in the very nature of the law of
multiple witnesses by producing multiple testimonies in scripture of its
        existence and practice. You cannot
really do that in the Qur’an in that in the spirit of antichrist Muhammad,
bless his poor wounded heart, presents not positive testimony but a contradiction
to every real honorable possible doctrine to be derived from both Old and New
Testament, and this on top of a Biblical admonition to be found in BOTH Old and
New that we should not heed false prophets, those not speaking of things found
in these scriptures, and this is BEFORE we even had a controversy with all
things Muslim. And when I, in the spirit
of a true fundamentalist that I am in Christian scriptures, try to find head or
tail of what is actually taught in the Qur’an, I am poo pooed by some Imam
saying that the Qur’anic scriptures are too wonderful for a person to derive
some concrete teaching, but should be held in the opinion of the same or other
like minded Imam desirous to manhandle this slippery book we call the Qur’an. I am told that the very Arabic language of
the Qur’an is slippery and vague and no real solid established understanding
can even really be had, ergo for the simple Muslim, Taqiya rules and sneaky
words are spoken by the likes of you to deceive so you can either oppress the
non-Muslim in his rightful Liberty of conscience or to off him when Islam’s
        heroes cuts his neck.

I have not blabbered, and here is the real problem with Islam basing all of its abrogationary doctrines on the Qur’an.

      • Boy.. who was the greatest lawmaker on earth as far as family values and human life was concerned ?… and which is considered to be the greatest statement of justice todate ?

      • Jesus in that He was JHVH of ALL THE GODS (HA ELOHIM) who as EL SHADDAI delivered the commandments to Moses and as JESUS, delivered the commandments to the Apostles. He is the ONLY lawgiver, the rest of men only distilled what they could from such laws. As for Prophets, none exists after John the Apostle the very last eyewitness of what Jesus said and did…meaning, anyone CLAIMING to be prophet since John is a liar, including Pat Robertson and Oral Roberts and Joseph Smith, the great imitator of Muhammed, this very Muhammed, who by his own word, was abused by a demon…it was a so called Christian relative that tried to convince him otherwise.

      • Well ,well, well… Wrong there !!!! ..Jesus (pbuh) came to fulfill the old law . He never claimed that he was there to make NEW laws… I don’t intend to argue here but refer you to the Bible,so as I claimed you just state unsubstantiated info ……JESUS never made new laws …On the contrary …..

        John 14:26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all
that I have said to you.

        John 16:13
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the
truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears
he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

        John 16:7
Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I
go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.

        John 14:16

8:And when He has come , he will convict the world of sin and of righteouness and of Judgement:

9: Of sin because they do not believe in me (the Jews)
        10: Of righteouness because I go to my father and you see me no more;
11: Of judgement becaus the ruler of this world is judged
12: I still have many things to say to you but u can not bear them now.

If u deny the fact that

Prophet Mohammed(peace unto him) was the helper Jesus(peace unto him) was referring to in the Bible verses above u can do that with a valid prove and not just human view.

If u are among those that deny Prophet Mohammed u are just doing what the jews did by denying Jesus(peace unto him)

Jesus ( pbuh) is consistently talking about ….., he , he , he in various ways… what is your reaction when when someone refers someone with a HE…. he means human, not Spirit(which to a natural human is IT)

Jesus (pbuh) was refering to a Man who would come after him to bring new laws . Prophet Muhammad’s success
and influence is unparrelled when compared with that of all
other leaders, social reformers, politician, and spiritual
revolutionarys in all time. He is viewed as the most extraordinary single human figure in human history. He has been deemed by both Muslims and Non-Muslims alike to be of the most influential people

If u are among those that deny Prophet Mohammed u are just doing what the jews did by denying Jesus(peace unto him)

The United States Supreme Court honors Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam,
as a source of law and justice alongside Moses, Solomon, and Confucius.
He is depicted in the Courtroom Frieze among the great law-givers of
        mankind.

Here is what the Supreme Court’s website says about this frieze:

Muhammad (c. 570 – 632) The Prophet of Islam. He is depicted holding
the Qur’an. The Qur’an provides the primary source of Islamic Law.
        Prophet Muhammad’s teachings explain
and implement Qur’anic principles. The figure above is a
well-intentioned attempt by the sculptor, Adolph Weinman, to honor
Muhammad, and it bears no resemblance to Muhammad. Muslims generally
have a strong aversion to sculptured or pictured representations of
        their Prophet.

In the year in which the frieze of Prophet Muhammad
was erected, Franklin D. Roosevelt was president, and Charles Evans
Hughes was the Chief Justice. It is not known how the court deliberated
on this architectural contribution. No one at that time thought it
inappropriate to include Prophet Muhammad as one of the greatest
lawgivers of the world at the chambers of the United States Supreme
Court. This was despite the fact that American society at that time was
not as diverse as it is today. Women had just acquired the right to
vote, and Japanese-Americans were about to be sent to concentration
camps. What non-Muslim scholars said about Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him)

Nepolean Bonaparte – Quoted in Christian Cherfils BONAPARTE ET ISLAM (PARIS 1914)

“I hope the time is not far off when I
shall be able to unite all the wise and educated men of all the
countries and establish a uniform regime based on the principles of
Qur’an which alone are true and which alone can lead men to happiness.”

        M.K.Gandhi, YOUNG INDIA, 1924

        “…I
became more than ever convinced that it was not the sword that won a
place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid
simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the prophet, the scrupulous
regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and
followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God
and his own mission. These, and not the sword carried everything before
them and surmounted every trouble.” YOUNG INDIA, 1924

Lamartine – Histoire de la Turquie, Paris 1854, Vol II, pp. 276-77:

        “If
greatness of purpose, smallness of means, and astounding results are
the three criteria of human genius, who could dare to compare any great
man in modern history with Muhammad? The most famous men created arms,
laws and empires only. They founded, if anything at all, no more than
material powers which often crumbled away before their eyes. This man
moved not only armies, legislations, empires, peoples and dynasties, but
millions of men in one-third of the then inhabited world; and more than
that, he moved the altars, the gods, the religions, the ideas, the
beliefs and souls… the forbearance in victory, his ambition, which was
        entirely devoted to one idea and in no manner striving for an empire;
his endless prayers, his mystic conversations with God, his death and
his triumph after death; all these attest not to an imposture but to a
firm conviction which gave him the power to restore a dogma. This dogma
was twofold, the unit of God and the immateriality of God; the former
telling what God is, the latter telling what God is not; the one
overthrowing false gods with the sword, the other starting an idea with
        words.

        “Philosopher, orator, apostle,
legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational dogmas, of
a cult without images; the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of
one spiritual empire, that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by
which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man
        greater than he?”

Edward Gibbon and Simon Ocklay – History of the Saracen Empire, London, 1870, p. 54:

        “It
is not the propagation but the permanency of his religion that deserves
our wonder, the same pure and perfect impression which he engraved at
Mecca and Medina is preserved, after the revolutions of twelve centuries
by the Indian, the African and the Turkish proselytes of the
Koran…The Mahometans have uniformly withstood the temptation of
reducing the object of their faith and devotion to a level with the
senses and imagination of man. ‘I believe in One God and Mahomet the
Apostle of God’, is the simple and invariable profession of Islam. The
intellectual image of the Deity has never been degraded by any visible
idol; the honors of the prophet have never transgressed the measure of
human virtue, and his living precepts have restrained the gratitude of
his disciples within the bounds of reason and religion.”

Rev. Bosworth Smith, Mohammed and Mohammadanism, London 1874, p. 92:

        “He
was Caesar and Pope in one; but he was Pope without Pope’s pretensions,
Caesar without the legions of Caesar: without a standing army, without a
bodyguard, without a palace, without a fixed revenue; if ever any man
had the right to say that he ruled by the right divine, it was Mohammed,
for he had all the power without its instruments and without its
        supports.”

Annie Besant, The Life and Teachings of Muhammad, Madras 1932, p. 4:

        “It
is impossible for anyone who studies the life and character of the
great Prophet of Arabia, who knows how he taught and how he lived, to
feel anything but reverence for that mighty Prophet, one of the great
messengers of the Supreme. And although in what I put to you I shall say
many things which may be familiar to many, yet I myself feel whenever I
re-read them, a new way of admiration, a new sense of reverence for
        that mighty Arabian teacher.”

Montgomery Watt, Mohammad at Mecca, Oxford 1953, p. 52:

        “His
readiness to undergo persecutions for his beliefs, the high moral
character of the men who believed in him and looked up to him as leader,
and the greatness of his ultimate achievement – all argue his
fundamental integrity. To suppose Muhammad an impostor raises more
problems than it solves. Moreover, none of the great figures of history
is so poorly appreciated in the West as Muhammad.”

James A. Michener, ‘Islam: The Misunderstood Religion’ in Reader’s Digest (American Edition), May 1955, pp. 68-70:

        “Muhammad,
the inspired man who founded Islam, was born about A.D. 570 into an
Arabian tribe that worshipped idols. Orphaned at birth, he was always
particularly solicitous of the poor and needy, the widow and the orphan,
the slave and the downtrodden. At twenty he was already a successful
businessman, and soon became director of camel caravans for a wealthy
widow. When he reached twenty-five, his employer, recognizing his merit,
proposed marriage. Even though she was fifteen years older, he married
her, and as long as she lived, remained a devoted husband.

“Like almost every major prophet before
him, Muhammad fought shy of serving as the transmitter of God’s word,
sensing his own inadequacy. But the angel commanded ‘Read’. So far as we
know, Muhammad was unable to read or write, but he began to dictate
those inspired words which would soon revolutionize a large segment of
the earth: “There is one God.”

“In all things Muhammad was profoundly
practical. When his beloved son Ibrahim died, an eclipse occurred, and
rumors of God’s personal condolence quickly arose. Whereupon Muhammad is
said to have announced, ‘An eclipse is a phenomenon of nature. It is
foolish to attribute such things to the death or birth of a
        human-being.’

“At Muhammad’s own death an attempt was
made to deify him, but the man who was to become his administrative
successor killed the hysteria with one of the noblest speeches in
religious history: ‘If there are any among you who worshipped Muhammad,
he is dead. But if it is God you worshipped, He lives forever.'”

Michael H. Hart, The 100: A Ranking of
the Most Influential Persons in History, New York: Hart Publishing
        Company, Inc. 1978, p. 33:

        “My
choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world’s most influential
persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but
he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the
        religious and secular level.”

Sarojini Naidu, the famous Indian poetess says – S. Naidu, Ideals of Islam, Speeches and Writings, Madaras, 1918

        “It
was the first religion that preached and practiced democracy; for, in
the mosque, when the call for prayer is sounded and worshippers are
gathered together, the democracy of Islam is embodied five times a day
when the peasant and king kneel side by side and proclaim: ‘God Alone is
        Great’… “

Thomas Caryle – Heros and Heros Worship

        “how
one man single-handedly, could weld warring tribes and Bedouins into a
most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades?”
        “…The
lies (Western slander) which well-meaning zeal has heaped round this man
(Muhammed) are disgraceful to ourselves only…How one man
single-handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a
most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades….A silent
great soul, one of that who cannot but be earnest. He was to kindle the
world; the world’s Maker had ordered so.”

Stanley Lane-Poole – Table Talk of the Prophet

        “He
was the most faithful protector of those he protected, the sweetest and
most agreeable in conversation. Those who saw him were suddenly filled
with reverence; those who came near him loved him; they who described
him would say, “I have never seen his like either before or after.” He
was of great taciturnity, but when he spoke it was with emphasis and
deliberation, and no one could forget what he said…”

George Bernard Shaw – The Genuine Islam Vol.No.8, 1936.
        “I
believe if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern
world he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would
bring much needed peace and happiness.
I have studied him – the man and in my opinion is far from being an anti–Christ. He must be called the Savior of Humanity.
        I
have prophesied about the faith of Mohammad that it would be acceptable
the Europe of tomorrow as it is beginning to be acceptabl

      • Well, Well, Thank you MN for the
heavy dose of DEEDAT so I do not have to go look up my several volumes by this
man who has set you up for a sure head cutting with the greatest statement of
blasphemy against the prophet that any infidel could muster.

Even in our scripture our God is
considered Spirit. And how about your Allah does he have a body? How many “HE” pronouns is used upon him in
the Quran. Do You say Allah Praise upon IT?

That you have acquainted the Spirit,
the “helper” to be Muhammad himself, you have accused him of rape of an
unmarried girl that if it was understood by your peers, might have your head on
a platter in the manner of the Religion of Peace happening every day today at
the slaughter of peaceable Christians by your Religion of Peace.

If the Helper, the Holy Ghost, is
Muhammad why did he become the Father of Jesus?
I believe my scriptures over any other input, but you are going to have
to come to grips with this verse, and if you say you care not for our
Scriptures, then Good Day, there is a homecoming fire for you, because by this
Man Jesus, there is no other way for you to come to GOD, the real one, the JHVH
of which Jesus the lawgiver is. You see
there is not one GOD, but one JEHOVAH, and Jesus, the Father, and the Holy
Spirit are ALL THE GODS (HA ELOHIM) who is named JEHOVAH. The Shma of the Bible says, “JEHOVAH our GODS
(ELOHIM being plural for GOD) is ONE JEHOVAH.
This is the trinity that you deny, and it is scriptural so you can take
a hike and your raping Prophet if you understand what you are saying when you
say that it is MUHAMMAD who is that Spirit, the helper:

        Matthew 1:18 (KJV)

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ
was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they
came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Remember I DID NOT SAY THIS that
Muhammad is the person in question.

      • This is it…. “This is the trinity that you deny, and it is scriptural so you can take
a hike and your raping Prophet if you understand what you are saying when you
say that it is MUHAMMAD who is that Spirit, the helper:……..
Go ask your pasters about whether Jesus ( pbuh) made NEW LAWS …. the answer will be a NO !!, so he cannot be the LAWGIVER …( He came to fulfill the laws of Moses ( pbuh) .), ( except one where he stated Love your Companians ” ) before his departure .. Jesus ( pbuh ) states to his disciples … “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
When the Comforter comes, he will guide you into all the truth,
for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he
will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. ”
What does he imply here… He will send someone, A Comforter who will be a mercy to mankind, who will speak as a mouthpiece of God (he will not speak of his own authority , but whatever he hears from God ‘
Mohamed ( pbuh) came and brought new laws on family life and affairs, society and affairs , etc , etc , in short , the complete code on the way a righteous person should live … .. HE WAS A LAWGIVER …..like Moses ( pbuh)… Ask your Pasters and confirm…

By the way the quotes above and before were not from Ahmed Deedat …. these are the Holy Bible quotes ..verbatim …

As I stated when cornered you and have no grounds to challenge “what is said by the Holy Bible’… the standard under which I have argued .. .. you simply fly insults to me and to Mohamed(pbuh) .. it goes to show that there is no substance in your arguments .

By the way , explain the concept of Trinity to your child and tell him that the Father , the Son and the Holy Spirit are One and yet they are Seperate .. He will naturally ask you… ‘Dad, this doesn’t make sense , how can three persons be One and at the same time Seperate” ..You will be at odds to explain him .. he is being natural and in his pure and innocent form cannot fathom this , nor can a rational person… You stated ….”You see there is not one GOD, but one JEHOVAH, and Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are ALL THE GODS… so your scriptures teach you that there are “many Gods!!!!… this is against the Holy Bible !!! .. where is it stated by Jesus (pbuh) in the Bible.
The New Testament frequently emphasizes God’s infinite power and might,
and describes Prophet Jesus (pbuh) as a messenger of God with human
characteristics. Those expressions that purportedly support belief
in the trinity, clearly contradict the New
        Testament as a whole.

The Qur’an states that the Gospel was revealed as a confirmation of the Torah:”And We sent Jesus son of Mary following in their footsteps,
confirming the Torah that came before him. We gave him the Gospel
containing guidance and light, confirming the Torah that came before it,
and as guidance and admonition for those who guard against evil”

Prophet Jesus (pbuh) himself rejected all claims concerning his supposed “divinity”:
And when God asks: “Jesus son of Mary! Did you say to people:
‘Take me and my mother as deities besides God?'” he will respond: “Glory be to You! It is not for me to say what I have no right to say! If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is in my self, but Ido not know what is in Your Self. You are the Knower of all unseen
        things.” (Surat al-Ma’ida: 116)

So lets rest the matter here ..

By the way did you know ……

        Harvard
University: Quran verse at the entrance of its
        faculty of law.

Harvard University says Quran verse one of the
greatest expressions of justice in history

        DID YOU KNOW

        Harvard University, the oldest
institution of higher learning in the United States, was founded in Cambridge,
        Massachusetts in 1636.

The U.S. Harvard University, one of
the most prestigious institutions in the world, has placed a Quran verse at the
entrance of its faculty of law.

Described by the institution as one
of the greatest expressions of justice in history, Verse 135 of Surah Al Nisa
(The Women Chapter) is dedicated to humanity as the best expression defending
        and articulating justice.

        “O
you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for
Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one
is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal]
inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or
refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.”
        Surat An Nisa 4: 135

        According to the
official website of the university, The Words of
Justice exhibition is a clear sign of humanity’s craving for fairness on this
        earth.

        At present, visitors to Harvard,
researchers in particular, have the chance to identify themselves with the best
articulations of justice since time immemorial.

A Saudi Student at Harvard published the picture
of the verse on his Twitter page.

“I noticed that the verse was posted
by the faculty of law, which described it as one of the greatest expressions
for justice in history,” Abdullah Jumma said.

      • MN, I suspect you are a person, and one perverted in their
understanding of the things of the Creator, and as such you are not alone, for
there are too many like you of all races and of all types of philosophy, and
you are NOT the only one in need of absolute mercy, a true mercy, that only the
JHVH, who is the ONLY JHVH, and since there is no other JHVH who is the
creator, not only of this world but the Universe containing this world,
whatever is considered GOD He, JHVH, is the only one, but HE, JHVH, is also a
plurality, and in every language there is no other way to present it but as a
plural of the singular word for God. You
are right it is not for the SIMPLE to understand, HECK, it is not even for the
mature in thought to understand, and mainly because we are indeed limited in
capacity to understand, but here is where faith comes in. If the ONLY scriptures of credibility, our
Bible made up of BOTH Hebrew and Christian scriptures tells us in this archive
of testimony that JHVH a single unit is made up of a plurality ELOHIM being a
plurality of some manner, then by FAITH, for the truly FAITHFUL, the FAITHFUL
must consider and believe it, having compared all the other testimony of
scriptures relating to the subject, and all doubters such as you and the
Unitarian makers whether Jew or that in the Christian religion, are faithless,
taking human understanding, which JHVH tells us not to rely on that does not
consider JHVH, as being their final arbiters.

A lot of the credibility of the scriptures is built upon the
eyewitness testimony of those that wrote the scriptures giving expression of
their eyewitness when JHVH, whether expressed by his presences (FACES which in
the Hebrew is express in the plural so that by context you have to determine if
talking of ONE face or several), or HIS entirety, or by one or the other of HIS
three identities being present in some form of FACE or presence, before the
        eyewitness. Jesus, Himself a professed
single portion of JHVH He calls Himself the SON, as apart from the presence of
the HOLY SPIRIT, and apart from the FATHER, says in John 5:31 that “If I bear
witness of myself, my testimony is NOT TRUE.”
But He also says right after:

        John 5:32-47(KJV)

32 There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the
witness which he witnesseth of me is true.

33 Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.

34 But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say,
        that ye might be saved.

35 He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a
season to rejoice in his light.

36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the
works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear
witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of
me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent,
        him ye believe not.

39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life:
and they are they which testify of me.

40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

41 I receive not honour from men.

42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.

43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another
shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek
not the honour that cometh from God only?

45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one
that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.

46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he
        wrote of me.

47But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Now if the words of Jesus are true because they are
consistent with the rest of scriptures, a second testimony, and of John the
Baptist, a third testimony, and even by GOD, in reference to the Father, who so
isolated in reference is found in the SINGULAR, but is as JHVH as Jesus is, and
as the Holy Spirit is, and of which there is but ONE JEHOVAH, absolutely, and
why there cannot be any more gods whether singular, plural or even other
trinities, and why JHVH IS ONE and being the only creator than HE AS GODS is
the ONLY GODS in the world, this word in English is the true translation of the
plural ELOHIM, then your SINGLE TESTIMONY OF MUHAMMAD IN COMPLETE CONTRADICTION
TO THE SCRIPTUES BOTH HEBREW AND CHRISTIAN WHICH CAME EARLIER AND WITH ‘THE
PRESENCES OF THE FINGER OF GOD.” Can only be NOT TRUE, not having the agreement
with the HEBREW and CHRISTIAN scriptures.

Again, take your own head out of the sand and read the
scriptures of the Bible which you are saying that I am not considering, and
consider this formulation found in the HEBREW scriptures, and even the mistaken
doctrine of the JEWS, in contradiction to their own scriptures, and taking a “rational”
easy way out like RAM BAM the Jewish nickname for the writer in Spain who
substituted the Jewish word for absolute unity for the Hebrew word written by
Moses of a unity that can be considered a unit or singular having several
variables. Muhammad agreed with the Jews
in their Unitarianism, thus deceived by the manmade doctrine of the Unitarian Jews,
as our Christian so called prophet Joseph Smith who founded MORMONISM created a
whole book similar to the Qur’an taking the opposite RATIONAL idea and agreed,
YEP, the trinity IS made up of THREE SEPARATE GODS.

I refuse to take the easy way out, and knowing all the
RATIONAL arguments, even of those of my familiars, will take the word of God to
mean what it says when it says in Deut. 6:4 “Hear O Israel, JEHOVAH (JHVH or JHWH – singular) OUR GODS (ELHYN –
Eloheynu from ELOHIM a plurality in some manner with NU being OUR) is ONE
(Echad – a unit of one or of several variables) JEHOVAH (JHVH or JHWH –
singular). Or without the notes, “JEHOVAH OUR GODS IS ONE JEHOVAH.”

Notice ONE JEHOVAH not one GOD, though technically it can be
ONE GODS or if you refer to the individual parts of JEHOVAH, each one is
considered ONE GOD (the father) and ONE GOD (the Son where in the Hebrew
Scriptures He is called EL SHADDAI or THE ANGEL OF GOD), and ONE GOD (the Holy
Spirit). In the New Testament it then
becomes appropriate for Jesus GOD THE SON to refer to His father as ONE GOD (THE
FATHER). But as Paul says, and in
reference to your illustration about talking to one’s son about God:

        1 Corinthians 13:11 (KJV)

        11 When I was a child, I spake as a
child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man,
        I put away childish things.

So basically if JHVH is our only GODS then it is rather
straight forward to heed a warning that we should not go after OTHER GODS or
OTHER ELOHIMS, whether it is one ALLAH or all the Gods of the Hindus, but for
the Jews, they were just warned not to go after other LORDS (BALAAMS) or other GODS (Elohim).

If I have ONE GODS, I cannot consider another GODS or even
another GOD when three is company but four is a crowd.

I need to consider having one JHVH who is made up of three
individuals ELOHIM who is as a whole are called ELOHIM…right there in the Bible
and in contrast to the ELOHIMS of the neighboring peoples, and tell me if I am
deficient in knowledge to know if there is another Creator called JHVH.

Now to show you that it is the Jews tendency to desire a
simple Unitarian approach, their Great Spanish teacher nicknamed RAMBAM writes
his own scripture to come up with the shma (or Deut. 6:4) to say, something
like “JHVH our ELOHIM (or ELOHENU a plural word from ELOHIM meaning OUR Elohim)
is ONE (YACHID a word meaning absolute unity replacing ECHAD meaning a unity
sometimes made up of several variables) JHVH.
Why do you think RAMBAM felt a necessity to trade YACHID for ECHAD if he
did not know the significance of Moses’ use of the word ECHAD for ONE? Even so there is only one JHVH anyway, and
being the only JHVH and he being GODS, there is only one GODS. If that is made up of FATHER, SON and HOLY
SPIRIT, how can we indeed attach another to JHVH…he is ALREADY GODS in the
personalities of those three. Jesus has
never been ATTACHED, He has as the SON already BEEN JHVH. The only difference is that the SON who was
originally ONLY A SPIRIT had that spirit placed into an earthen vessel that
together was born into the family of man…only no one, as MARY TESTIFIED,
whether man or physical personality of some spirit, went into her as the manner
of man and wife, but as EVE was formed out of the body of a man, ADAM. God the SPIRIT manipulated the physical
genetic material to take the genetic material of Mary and make an XY set of
chromosomes out of an original set of XX chromosomes, as JHVH ELOHIM or JEHOVA
GODS took the genetic material of Man’s rib and manipulated it into the genetic
material and complete body of a woman, EVE.
How that is done, is not one that science has answered thus far and
should we expect it since our science is a defective or incomplete knowledge of
how things were done by God? And God
warns us we would be having a problem with the way He does things when he says:

        Ecclesiastes 3:11 (KJV)

11 He hath made every thing
beautiful in his time: also he hath set the WORLD (a word meaning also eternal)
in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the
        beginning to the end.

In other words God has set the
vision of eternal things in a heart made of clay, a vessel that at this time
can NEVER contemplate ALL THE WORKS OF GOD FROM BEGINNING TO END. Man may grasp this portion and another man
can grasp another portion of God’s works and yet, in one individual can no
complete knowledge of the mind of God can exist.

Why fault ME with something even you
cannot contemplate, and why call ME faithless when I indeed believe my Bible,
My Scriptures, and take at face value from the testimony of those who have SEEN
God, as Moses and as JESUS, being God the Son or JHVH, and of the eyewitnesses
that Jesus HIMSELF chose out to deliver His knowledge to us, and what is the
difference in GOD JESUS telling his PROPHETS to write things when you claim
your PROPHET took words from something called ALLAH and had it written down?

        Matthew 23:34-36 (KJV)

34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto
you PROPHETS, and WISE MEN, and SCRIBES (these are folk who WRITE THINGS DOWN) :
and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them
shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to
        city:

35 That upon you may come all the
righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the
blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the
        altar.

36 Verily I say unto you, All these
things shall come upon THIS GENERATION: (there has been no promise of Jesus to
send scribes that did not exist during the generation he lived in).
Now if you are wrong on the fundamentals of reading Hebrew/Christian scriptures, since this portion is too long, I will show you without referring to any outside opinions…they no doubt as scholarly and wantingly ignorant of the truth as you…I will show you BY authority of the Hebrew/Christian scriptures why you are wrong in taking Deedat’s doctrine of Muhammad being the “helper”, instead of the obvious HOLY SPIRIT.

      • Wow… a “full lecture on divinity”… all quotes were man made.. Mathew , John , Luke ……. where are the words of Jesus(pbuh) .. where he said I am GOD … Give me the true words as spoken by Jesus (pbuh) himself …. the concept of Trinity has been tossed in and out of the Bible versions until there are now denominations: who believe and those who do not… Look up the red letter Bible which highlights the words spoken by Jesus(pbuh) and you will see he crys out to the Lord as a human … He is not GOD . nor is he a SON nor the Holy Spirit … He was a prophet sent down ( with a miraculous birth) .. we Muslims do not need any proof … our Quran states this and as an article of faith we believe that he was one of the greatest apostles who walked on this earth and did miracles by the will and leave of Allah and not because he was supernatural.. Moses(pbuh) did likewise ….

You are going way away from the subject ..the Helper , Comforter are words from the various versions of the Bible …

( Ahmed Deedat also used the same quotations )

Jesus ( pbuh) was NOT a Lawgiver … he came to FULFILL and CONFIRM the Law of Moses and prior prophets ….

NEW were given by Prophet Mohamed (pbuh)…as confirmed by ancient scriptures, historical, current and present research and thoughts of historians, philosophers and writers …..period .

        Quran
was spoken by an illiterate Mohammed. He is not “people”, one person!
What he uttered was memorized by others; unlike any other. Primitive? The
entire world including his haters know his contribution made to this world
civilized. Starting from stopping female infanticide to giving voting rights to
women. Stopping child marriage, allowing marriage between consenting adults
only (giving a say to women in marriage). Most of which was introduced only in
20th century in the west! And people like you think 20th century is midi-val
        and primitive?….

As I said lets leave it at that … you stay with your Trinitarian dogma and believe in three Gods ( by the way christianity claims to be a great monotheistic religion).. I am happy with my concept of the ONE God as explained in the Quran… bye

      • Having made myself clear as far as any can read “scriptures” as to how they ought to be interpreted, my “secondary revelation” is the imagination of those, like any Liberal trying to interpret legitimate scripture giving rise to any of the cults of Christianity such as the Islam look alike we call Mormonism, is to take scripture and then with one’s own imagination try to come up with a religion that such a one would like to have oppressing humanity…enter the Imams and their commentary or hadiths and extra scriptural tradition, like the Jewish talmuds, and the Catholics in their verson called the magisterium. After all, do not kid yourself that Islam is the only predetary worldview, it is the only one current that advocates the murder of all infidels with real consequence. I guess this is their 15 minutes of fame, if they did not try to hog up all of the rest of the 15 minutes of the other ideologies.”
You recommended Deedat, and he is an off brand Islamicist spouting HIS brand of Islam under color of defending classical Islam, he using HIS imagination to flesh out some sort of doctrine passing off as Islam, taking advantage of the fact that NO ONE can come up with any real Islam from the Qur’an outside of that which denies every real good doctrine derived from the Judeo/Christian scriptures according to that scriptures internal schema of interpretation…one that even is mirrored in modern science and an article concerning impeachment in the American Constitution (Article three, Section three).
I read this Deedat several years ago, though I am not sure it was the volume you recommended, but why go secondary when you have to come up with something righteous from the original Islamic scripture….the Qur’an.

      • Read the one that is printed in Arabic because the one translated into English does not have the same content. There is no consistency in it at all. Even to this day they make things up as they go along. They lie and they cheat to gain what they desire. As the saying goes that building over there is the holy site de Jour.

      • So you agree that it was written by men !!! … the Koran challenges by stating ….
        Gather
all the Jinns and men and together with each other as support they will
never be able to produce alike the Koran …so the words are from a
supernatural source … Allah ( even the Jewish scriptures mention God
        as Allah)…

Why has it remained unchanged for 1400 years ….

      • Actually, Bev, a demon posing as the Angel Gabriel dictated the koran (lower case intentional) to mohammad in a cave over an extended period of time. Pastor Hagee preached a really good sermon explaining it all probably 5 or 10 years ago. Can’t remember how long as its been a long time. I ran across it back then by accident but hung around to listen. It was extremely interesting.

One of the things that stood out to me was when Pastor Hagee pointed out how you could tell if what you’re encountering is from God or the devil. During the course of mohammads writing out the dictation of the so called angel he wanted to quit but the demon grabbed him & either squeezed or shook the daylights out of him & told him he was not going to stop taking his dictation. Pastor Hagee said a true Angel of God would Never have done that–used fear as a tactic. Because every time a person encounterd an Angel in the Bible the first thing the Angel always said to the person was “Fear Not”. No intimidation tactics necessary.

      • Oh Boy ,, … this is really interesting … the wierdest thing I have heard … dictation … to a man who could not write or read ..

      • The three men who wrote the words of God in the first bible couldn’t speak the same language either but we have the bible.

      • Well everything I have read says that when mohammad was 12 years old he grew tired of the bickering going on between the Arabs and the Jews so he took the bible, because that’s what most of the bickering was about, and took out what he didn’t like and added what he did like. I think originally he thought he was doing a good thing but as he grew he became crazy, don’t know why he hated women so much but they were his favorite target. The Arabs do believe that Jesus was a prophet and they recognize Mary but the way mohammad wrote in the Koran is that he was the descendent of God not Jesus. He was constantly changing his wording and telling his followers to dismiss what he wrote earlier and follow the newest writings. I don’t know who Pastor Hagee is but I have a feeling what he is preaching more fable than fact. No doubt that mohammad was a disciple of Satin. Love is not something they have, it seems to be lacking.

    • mn, good post but I’m pretty sure you meant to say Abraham’s sons were Isaac (not Jacob) and Ishmael, as noted at the end.

Would also like to add that Ishmael, according to Genesis, was mid-teens when Abraham, at Sarah’s demand, banished him and Hagar. Hagar was Egyptian, not Arab, and her people would have been in Egypt (Sinai area, most likely) as was indicated when she headed home the first time and God told her to go back and pronounced the aforementioned future for Ishmael. And get this, Ishmael’s mother’s name is never mentioned in Koran!

Islam itself teaches that Ishmael did not speak Arabic but had to be taught the language by his wife’s people, the Jurham.

As Genesis says that Isaac was indeed the son of sacrifice, the Koran never names the ‘son of sacrifice’ as Ishmael, but Isaac’s name does appear in that Sura. Interestingly enough, Koran only mention’s Ishmael by name 12 times, whereas Isaac appears 16 times.

      • So whats the point here …. the holy lands were one and many tribes existed than ,… you come from a region where language, dresscode , culture manners are different… , does not imply you are not from the same land ( area)… so any movement will mean you ought to learn the ways of that land …

whats the point in the mention of the names … Do you know Jesus Christ ( peace be upon him) is mentioned more times in the Koran than Mohamed(pbuh)himself … why would Mohamed(pbuh) not glorify himself if this was his book… the bible states that God made a promise to Abraham that he will make a great nation out of Ismhael…
        the Koran confirms this ..
Read the relevant chapters inits correct context and you will see that the promise/covenant points to Ishmael …period .

      • covenant with Abraham to make Isaac’s descendants abandant…… but , a great nation would be born out of Ishmael

      • mn, did you read verse 21 closely? The covenant(promise) GOD gave Abraham would pass on to Isaac. (Then to Jacob, and to Jacob’s offspring-the Tribes of Israel(Jacob’s name change by GOD)). The word great” means to make or be large(in many senses), even in Pride! And you know what is said about “pride”…

      • God did promise to make a great nation of Ismael’s descendants. However, if it were not for a lack of faith in God’s promises to Abraham and Sarah that he would bless them with a son of their issue, Ishmael would not have existed. He is, therefore, not the son of promise … Isaac, the firstborn son of Abraham AND Sarah, is the son promised to them by God.

Unfortunately, Ishmael is the result of what happens when man, thinking that he knows better than God, attempts to bring about a result apart from God’s purpose or design. This is typical tree-of-the-knowledge-of-good-and-evil thinking.

In Jewish and Christian tradition, Abraham is told by God to sacrifice his son Isaac (ʾIsḥāq)
and at the last minute is stopped, at which point a ram is provided to
sacrifice instead. In Islamic tradition, it is typically believed that
Abraham is told to sacrifice his son Ishmael, not Isaac, though the
Quran does not actually state which son. Due to this ambiguity, there
has been a lot of debate over which son is the intended sacrifice and
there are many versions of each view recorded. The narrative of Abraham
almost sacrificing his son is called the dhabih in Arabic.[10]
This story, as all stories from the ancient past, has been altered and
adapted over time. The multiple versions suggest that the dhabih was
originally an oral story that had been circulating before being written
as it is in the Quran and in additional commentaries.[11]
Norman Calder explains, “…oral narrative is marked by instability of
form and detail from version to version, and by an appropriate creative
flexibility which makes of every rendering a unique work of art.”[12]
Each version is indeed a “unique work of art,” differing from another
in various ways to present certain ideas, such as the importance of
    Ishmael over Isaac.

Abraham sacrificicing his son, Ishmael Abraham cast into fire by Nimrod

The general narrative pertaining to Ishmael in Islamic literature
describes the sacrifice either as a test or as part of a vow. Some
versions tell of the devil trying to stop God’s command from being
obeyed by visiting Hagar, Ishmael, and Abraham. Every time the devil
says Abraham is going to sacrifice Ishmael, each person answers that if
God commanded it, they should obey. Eventually, Abraham tells Ishmael
about the order and Ishmael is willing to be sacrificed and encourages
Abraham to listen to God. Often, Ishmael is portrayed as telling Abraham
some combination of instructions to bring his shirt back to Hagar, bind
him tightly, sharpen the knife, and place him face down, all so that
there will be no wavering in the resolve to obey God. As Abraham
attempts to kill Ishmael, either the knife is turned over in his hand or
copper appears on Ishmael to prevent the death. After God tells Abraham
that he has fulfilled the command, a ram is provided which is killed
    instead to redeem Ishmael.[13][14]

The actions of Ishmael in this narrative have led him to become a
prominent model of hospitality and obedience. This story in the Quran is
unique when compared to that in the Bible because Abraham talks with
his son, whichever it is to believed to be, and the son is thus aware of
the plan to become a sacrifice and approves of it. As noted above, in
some versions, Ishmael makes sure in different ways that neither he nor
his father hesitate in their obedience to God. In this way, Ishmael is a
model of surrendering one’s will to God, an essential characteristic in
    Islam.[15]

Though it is generally believed by Muslims that Ishmael was the son
who was almost sacrificed, among scholars and historiographers of early
Islam, there is much debate. There are such persuasive arguments for
both, that in fact, it is estimated that 130 traditions say Isaac was
the son, while 133 say Ishmael.[16] Such dispute over which son suggests that the story, and where and to whom it happens, is extremely important.[17]
It is argued that the story originated from rabbinic texts and was
adapted to Islam over time in order give Mecca religious importance and
connect the story with the pilgrimage, which is how Isaac in Jewish
    versions was changed to Ishmael.[18]
Arguments by early Muslim scholars for Ishmael as the intended
sacrifice include that Jews claim it is Isaac only because they are
jealous that it was actually the ancestor of Muslims, Ishmael, and that
the horns of the ram that was sacrificed instead hung in the Kaaba at
    one time.[19]
In looking solely at the text of the Quran to determine which son was
to be sacrificed, there still are various views. Tabari argues that in
the Quran, it is only Isaac who is indicated by birth announcements and
that the announcement at the start of the sacrifice narrative means that
    the story is about Isaac.[20][21]
The strongest case for Ishmael in the Quran is that directly after the
sacrifice narrative, Abraham is told of the coming of Isaac’s birth,
therefore, it must be Ishmael who was about to be sacrificed if Isaac
    had not been born yet.[22]

    Construction of the Kaaba

At some point, often believed to be after Hagar’s death, Ishmael
marries a woman from the Jurhum, the tribe who settled in the area
around Zamzam. Abraham visits Ishmael in Mecca and when he arrives at
his home, Ishmael is not there. Instead Ishmael’s wife greets Abraham,
but she is not welcoming or generous to him. Abraham instructs her to
tell Ishmael some version of the statement that he is not pleased with
or to change “the threshold of his door.” When Ishmael returns home and
his wife tells him this, he knows it is from his father and taking the
advice, divorces the woman. He then marries another woman from Jurhum.
Abraham once again visits and is met by Ishmael’s second wife, as
Ishmael is out. This wife is very kind and provides food for him.
Abraham instructs her to tell Ishmael some version of the statement that
he is pleased with “the threshold of his door.” When Ishmael arrives
and his wife repeats Abraham’s statement, Ishmael knows it is from his
    father and keeps his wife.[13][14]

There are many versions of the construction of the Kaaba that differ
in fairly significant ways, although all have Abraham build or cleanse
the Kaaba and then immediately after, or at an unknown time, God calls
Abraham to establish the Hajj, or pilgrimage. These narratives differ in
when these events occurred, if and how there was supernatural
involvement, the inclusion or omission of the Black Stone,
and whether Ishmael assisted his father. Of those that say Ishmael took
part in the construction, most describe Abraham visiting Ishmael a
third time in Mecca, during which they raise the Kaaba. Some versions
say Abraham has Ishmael look for a final stone, but Abraham does not
accept the one he brings back. Instead an angel has brought the Black
Stone, which Abraham puts into place. Ishmael is left at the Kaaba, in
charge of its care and to teach others about the Hajj.[13][14]
The starting of the Hajj has many versions and scholars believe this is
due to the late association of Abraham with the Hajj after Islam had
developed to help remove its connection to early pagan rituals.[23]

Ishmael is considered a prophet in Islam and is listed in the Quran with other prophets in many instances including 2:136,[24] 3:84,[25] 4:163,[26] 6:84-86.[27] In other verses, such as 21:5-86[28] and 38:48,[29] Ishmael is praised for being patient, good, and righteous.[30] A particular example which describes Ishmael individually is 19:54-55[31]
    – “And call to mind, through this divine writ, Ishmael. Behold, he was
always true to his promise, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet, who
used to enjoin upon his people prayer and charity, and found favour in
his Sustainer’s sight.”[32] As a descendant of Ishmael, Muhammad is justified as the Prophet and continues the line of prophets from pre-Islamic times.

    Genealogy and association with Arabs
As Islam became established, the figure Ishmael and those descended from him, the Ishmaelites, became connected, and often equated, with the term Arab in early Jewish and Christian literature.[33]
Before Islam developed as a religion, Ishmael was depicted in many
ways, but after its establishment, Ishmael was almost always seen in a
negative light in Jewish and Christian texts, as he becomes the symbol
for the “other” in these religions.[34]
As the Islamic community became more powerful, some Jewish midrash
about Ishmael was modified so that he was portrayed more negatively in
order to challenge the Islamic view that Ishmael, and thus the Muslims,
were the favored descendents of Abraham.[35]
This became the genealogy according to Jewish sources and the Bible, in
contrast with the genealogy of Arabs according to Muslims.[33]
The development of Islam created pressure for Muslims to be somehow
different than Judaism and Christianity, and accordingly, Ishmael’s
lineage to Arabs was stressed.[36] In pre-Islamic times, there were three distinct groups of Arabs- the Ba’ida, Ariba, and Musta’riba.
The Ba’ida were the “legendary Arabs of the past,” while the Ariba were
the “Southern Arabs.” Ishmael’s descendants became the Northern Arabs
known as the Musta’riba or the “Arabized Arabs.” The Musta’riba were
described as Arabized since it is believed Ishmael learned Arabic when
he moved to Mecca and as he married into the Arabic tribe of Jurhum.
Ishmael’s line is then traced from his son Adnan, down through the Musta’riba, to the Quraysh.[37]
In this manner, Muhammad’s ancestry leads back to Ishmael, joining
“…original biblical ancestry of Abraham with a distinctively Arab
afinal stock,”[33] and connecting Muhammad with Mecca and the Kaaba

  18. Very interesting & informative, thank you for sharing this with us. The coexist bumper stickers are very trendy yet they show a lack of understanding of Islam. You cannot coexist with a people who have sworn an oath to destroy you. Satan’s greatest trick has always been his ability to convince people he does not exist. The world will not be destroyed by those who wish to see it done but by those who stand by an allow it to be done.

  19. Although they give reverence to Abraham as their patriarch, islamists do not follow Abraham’s god nor his traditions. Instead they worship Hagar’s god, Allah the moon god of the Sumerians.

      • Right what … human comments designed to discredit Ismahael because Isacc came along … Islam glorifies both as prophets but Ismael as the elder on whom a promise was made by God… even the Bible clearly states that Abraham loved his son Ishmael and his heart grieved when he was banished by Sarah … God states in the Bible both are the seeds of the patriach Abraham and HE will make them both abundant . .. a great nation was promised out of Ismhael .. Ismhael is considered a prophet in Islam and is listed in the Quran with
other prophets in many instances including 2:136,[24] 3:84,[25]
4:163,[26] 6:84-86.[27] In other verses, such as 21:5-86[28] and

  20. I am also studying this in a Beth Moore study of the Patriarchs of the Bible (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob). We all had an “a-ha moment” when she explained that Muslims believe that it was Ishmael that God saved from the sacrifice on the mountain and not Isaac. They, therefore, believe that the heritage promised to Isaac was actually promised to Ishmael. That is why they want Jerusalem (and hate the Jews).

    • Very interesting, DIYDiva. That fact I didn’t know–Ishmael instead of Isaac–but then I’m not surprised because what I know about islam (lower case intentional) is that a lot of it is a perversion of Judaism & Christianity. The Jesus they believe in is Not the same Jesus we believe in. It’s all satan’s perversion of the truth muddied up with hate & violence. Exactly what you’d expect from satan because as Brother Copeland has said satan can’t come up with anything original on his own he twists the truth around to its polar opposite e.g. faith became fear, love became hate, life became death, happiness became sorrow, etc….

      • I also look at islam this way. Since they do not believe Jesus is God’s son, I throw this at them when they TRY to insist that Allah and God are one, “If you don’t believe in the Son, then you don’t believe in the Father.” Case closed. Walk away.

      • Traveller62…. see below … case fully open !!!!…

Allah the Omnipotent and Omnipresent doesn’t require a Partner … He himself Alone is Sufficient and Sustainer and

2 He beget nor nor is begotten

BEGET means that birth from creation or something
        BEGOTTEN Means born from something

Allah is uncreated and there is nothing similar towards his creation, nothing like it

      • As expected ….cannot accept the truth…. insult is the way out …suggest study the Quran so that you are enlightened .. you are not lost, just need the guidance to be on a right path … Amen

      • Check out below …. and ask yourself which version of the miraculous birth of Jesus(peace be upon him) and purity of Mary(pbuh) would you give to your child … I asked a Pastor and he cleverly stated that he would hand over the Quranic version , as it is simple, straight forward and without ambiguity and gives more credence to Jesus (pbuh)… but would say that it is from the Bible !!!!!…so indirectly confirming the truth that the Jesus is same in both the books of revelation

Birth of Jesus in Gospels and Qur’an

Birth of Jesus in Gospels and Qur’an

        By Mansoor Alhameed

Out of the four Gospels only two, Matthew and Luke
mentioned the birth of Jesus. Both agree that birth was a miraculous
event and that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary but in details the two
accounts differ greatly. Matthew has described the birth briefly (I: 18)
while in Luke (1:27-38) it is in more detail. Birth of Jesus in the
Qur’an has been mentioned in two Surahs; Al-Imran (3:42-49) and Maryam
(19:16-35). Qur’an agrees, adds, differs, corrects or criticizes Gospels
        account.

Following is a description of events as mentioned in Gospels and Qur’an.

        1. Angel’s visit

Luke says that the Angel Gabriel was sent from God to
a Virgin Mary. The Angel came to her and said : Hail thou art a highly
favoured women And when she saw him she was troubled at his saying and
cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the Angel
said unto her; Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favour with God. And
behold, thou shall conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son and shall
call his name Jesus Then said Mary unto the Angel; How shall this be,
seeing I know not a man? And the Angel answered With God nothing shall
        be impossible. (Luke 1:26-39)

The same is Described in Qur’an

When the angels said; O Mary Allah has chosen you and
made you pure and has preferred you above the women of creation. O
Mary! Allah gives you good news of a Word from Him. His name will be the
Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the
Hereafter and shall be one of those who are nearest to Allah. She said
My Lord! How can I have a child when no man has touched me? He said
Even so. Allah creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He
says to it only, “Be and it is” (Qur’an 3:42-45)

Qur’an adds to the Gospel’s Account

According to Qur’an Mary had secluded herself into
eastern part of the temple for prayer and devotion to Allah. It was in
this state of purity that angel Gabriel appeared before her in the form
of a man. Seeing a man in her privacy she became frightened (rather than
being tempted towards a handsome man) and said I seek refuge from you
to (Allah) Most Gracious: (come not near) if you do fear Allah. At
this point angel introduced himself by saying I am only a messenger
from your Lord to (announce) to you the gift of a righteous son. (Qur’an 19:

        2. Different places in different scriptures

Luke and Matthew differ greatly as to where Mary used
to live when she conceived Jesus and where she went after the birth.
Luke says When angel came to Mary she was living in Nazareth (a town in
        Galilee). She and Joseph then went to Bethlehem (a town in Judaea);
Jesus was born in Bethlehem, and after the birth they went to Jerusalem
        and then back to Nazareth.

Matthew says Mary and Joseph used to live in
Bethlehem, Jesus was born in Bethlehem, they then went to Egypt and from
        Egypt to Nazareth.

Qur’an says Mary lived in Jerusalem and
secluded herself to the private eastern chambers of the temple. It was
there that Angel Gabriel came. After she conceived Jesus she went to a
distant area (could be Bethlehem) and after birth came back to
        Jerusalem.

        3. Place of Birth

Luke and Matthew agree that Jesus was born in
Bethlehem. Qur’an says she went to a distant area away from Jerusalem
and it was there that Jesus was born. Name of this ‘distant area’ is not
mentioned but many Quranic scholars say that it could be Bethlehem.

        4. Events at birth

In the Gospels the events at birth are only mentioned
in Luke who says that Mary and Joseph found shelter in a stable. Jesus
was born there and Mary made a cradle for him in a manger. Shepherds
near Bethlehem saw angels in the sky, singing glory of the Lord.

Qur’an says that when the pains of childbirth
started, Mary went to a palm tree in a deserted area. Jesus was born
there. In the moments of her anguish and grieve, angel spoke to her. By a
miracle, a water stream came out around her and fresh ripe dates fell
        close to her.

        5. Events shortly after the Birth

Matthew and to some extent Luke say that news of
Jesus’s birth spread as King of Jews has been born. A promised Messiah
who will restore the kingdom of Israel. Such news disturbed King Herod,
who was the Roman ruler at that time so he ordered all boys above the
age two, to be killed. According to Matthew, King Herod found out about
Jesus by some men who studied stars and had come from the east to see
the newborn Messiah. They first asked about him at Herod’s court in
Jerusalem and then they followed the light of a star to Bethlehem. There
they found Jesus and gave him gifts of gold.

Qur’an says after birth, Mary carried Jesus in her arms, and returned back to her own people. According to Qur’an: “They
said O Mary! Indeed you have brought a thing that is mighty unheard of.
O sister of Aaron, Your father was not a man who used to commit
adultery nor your mother was an unchaste woman. Then she pointed to him.
They said how could we talk to one who is child in cradle. He (Jesus)
said; Verily I am a slave of Allah, he has given me the scriptures and
made me a prophet. And he made me blessed wheresoever I be, and has
enjoined on me prayer, and charity as long as I live.” (Qur’an 19:27-31)

It was probably this miracle, Jesus, speaking in the
cradle, which spread as the news that a ‘Saviour’ of Israel has been
born. News like these could have urged Herod to search for the baby and
that ultimately led to flight of Mary with Jesus to Nazareth.

        Genealogy of Jesus

Although Luke and Matthew say that Jesus was born
without human intervention but then contradicts themselves by giving a
human genealogy to Jesus. This was an attempt to prove that Jesus was
the same Messiah, who according to biblical traditions, would have been a
descendent of David. Luke and Matthew showed Mary as married to a
person, named Joseph, called him as father of Jesus and then tried to
portray Joseph as a descendent of David. While creating genealogy they
        again differed.

Matthew gave names of twenty-six persons between Adam and Jesus, while Luke gave names of forty-two persons of the same period.

Qur’an says that Mary was told that the Jesus would
be the Messiah but always calls Jesus as son of Mary. Human genealogy of
Jesus, Dividic descent of Jesus or Mary marrying to Joseph are the
        concepts, which Qur’an contradicts.

Doctrine of Divine sonship of Jesus

The early Christian theologians didn’t relate birth
of Jesus with his divinity. But later it was connected with the
doctrine of Divine sonship. The usual argument is, since he had no
father so his father must be God.

Qur’an answers that birth of Adam was also a miracle
as he was born not only without a father but without a mother also. Both
were created by words of God. Qur’an says: “The likeness of Jesus with Allah is as likeness of Adam. He created him with dust, then He said to him; Be! And he is.” (Qur’an 3:59)

    • Islam can believe all they want, it’s still a lie. And I agree with Alisa as to Satan’s use of “man” in his Lie, this case being Muslim Arabs. The generations of Arabs that would have existed after the Flood and before Muhammed (Islam’s patriarch died in 632 C.E.) The first writing of the Qu’ran wasn’t done until 650 C.E., 12 years AFTER Muhammed’s death.

Moses was commanded by and tasked by GOD to keep an accurate record of the Generations. [RE: Deuteronomy 4:1-2, 31:24-30]

When the Isrealites demanded a KING reign over them it was mandated that the King make a copy of GOD’s Law and KNOW IT so that he may reign Righteously. (Which on a side note is where we get that our President shall be ONE OF US, not a FOREIGNER….but I digress, IT IS WRITTEN:

“And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:
And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:” [Deuteronomy 17:18-19]

The Levites were charged with keeping the accurate history of the Bible (OT) by Moses. Here is an article that goes into detail the HOW of the Old Testament preservation.

      http://www.biblestudy.org/basicart/how-was-old-testament-preserved.html
Islam HATES because Muhammed was filled with BITTERNESS and MALICE, and he spread such to Satan’s Joy. There will NEVER be the lovie-dovie COEXIST you see on ProgressiSocialCommunist’s “Love-bugs”, Volvos, SAABs, and beater Subarus because ISLAM’s AGENDA is a TOTALITARIAN THEOLOGICAL OLIGARCHY.
Semper Vigilo, Fortis, Paratus et Fidelis

  21. One thing, the book of Daniel tells us that the world will never come under one ruler ever again. So in the end Islam will not realize a goal of world domination.

    • What concerns me Pam is the “tribulation” of what we will/are suffering because of our ABANDONING our Judeo-Christian Principles. Many including I, have cited 2 Chronicles 7:14 as the answer to our Problems, but IT IS ALSO WRITTEN:

“I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.” [Isaiah 45:19]

And IT IS WRITTEN even before 2 Chronicles 7 in 2 Chronicles 6:

“If they return to thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, whither they have carried them captives, and pray toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, and toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I have built for thy name:

Then hear thou from the heavens, even from thy dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive thy people which have sinned against thee.” [v. 38 and 39]
I find it amusing how people repeatedly and foolishly say that the Old Testament doesn’t apply to us. Jesus specifically says he HAS NOT COME to change the Laws of His Father. Why do we believe that GOD would not repremand us for our insolence?

Semper Vigilo, Fortis, Paratus et Fidelis

      • I have no idea. Jesus plainly states that we are to obey the law. It is misunderstood as the commandments, and it was the Jewish law of the church was over when the cloth was rent in half and it was proclaimed that it was finished. The old and New Testament fit together perfectly.

    • Reasonable question and I’ll neither vote you up or down but I will answer you based on known facts. Judism, Chistianity and Islam; all three are not just religious beliefs but complete lifestyle systems. Where in the first two you are allowed to make your own choices; the end result will be spiritual ramifications for your choices. With Islam’s dogma it is a complete submission as Mohammed confirmed by his rampage of death for those who refused to submit.
Islam also supports poligamy in the East, that is like putting a hare in a cage full of rabbits or like the current wild hog epidemic in Texas. The family must submit to the patriarch’s demands, there is no democracy, so one man with three wives give you at a minimum 3 new followers each year as many years as the patriarch produces; the more wives and possibly concubines a Muslim man has, the more children he will produce.
When compared to Christianity and Judism, we are losing to a belief system who produces at the minimum rate of 3:1 and then there is the possibility the children may not remain Christian or Jewish. GOD’s promise to Hagar, full circle; blessing her with generations too numerous to count and he will live in hostility towards his brothers. Islamists even kill Muslims……..and “YES” Islam IS EVIL.

Semper Vigilo, Fortis, Paratus et Fidelis

      • 1.2 billion and growing …. in reality, over 99% of world muslims have only one wife .. Islam allows upto 4 only if you can maintain equality between them, , otherwise only One … so the question of growing also comes from converts …other religions showing a decline , even Christianity … your theory doesn’t add up… look at the US Pew demographics…

      • We are seeing Biblical prophesy as we speak. It is written in 2 Timothy 3:

        “….This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.” [v. 1-9]

I can see why people convert; they are tired of the hypocisy that Christianity has become, even though they only have to look in a mirror to see it. But they do so at their own peril by their own sluggard ignorance of GOD’s Word. The same hypocrisy they are running from is also within Islam. IT IS WRITTEN where Jesus warned the Apostles:

“Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
        [Matthew 16:16]

Islam touts to be the “RELIGION OF PEACE”; what is left out is the “HOW” Islam intends to attain that “PEACE”. It is through a TOTALITARIAN Theocracy form of Governement by certain minority factions who take the Qu’ran to the furthest extent of loyalty to Allah. A few examples of the violence cited in the Qu’ran:

        http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/023-violence.htm
You cannot say it isn’t happening, because the news is filled with accounts of Coptics and other Christians being killed in the name of Allah. These fanatics are no different than the “leaven” Jesus warned above. The problem is once you are converted, you are STUCK; should you again become disinfranchised with your religion, now with Islam, you risk violent “REAL TIME” death, depending on which sect you have associated yourself with and where you are located.
I cannot blame Islam for their reasons for their hatred towards the United States and Christians. We have abandoned our Judeo-Christian Principles, America HAS BECOME a cesspool with “politically correctness and “tolerance” of abominal sinful behavior. But where does Islam get off becoming JUDGE, JURY and EXECUTIONER. CONDEMNATION, regardless of which Religion you associate with, is reserved to GOD ONLY; these radical islamists are no different than radical Jews and Christians, the little leaven that leavens the whole loaf.

I repeatedly refer back to the Prophetic Books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the last Malachi, when GOD abandoned Isreal for over 400 years because of what the Jews had become. This is America today; I wonder if Islam would have left the West alone if we had maintained our integrity and morality. I highly doubt it because their “Peaceful” leaders and followers rarely disavow their RADICAL FACTIONS actions and that is because it contradicts the DOCUMENTED ultimate intent, which is a TOTALITARIAN THEOCRACY form of Government. Muslims even kill Muslims. I wonder how many converts Islam would have if the COMPELTE TRUTH were presented on what is expected of you becoming Muslim.
Semper Vigilo, Fortis, Paratus et Fidelis

      • Whatever you say makes no sense.. look at the American muslim families… may be even your Muslim neighbor …..are they radical ?… they have been around for 20 years plus… and most are good natured , well mannerred , uphold family values and morals … islam is a way of life……so the fear of TOTALITARIAN THEOCRACY form of Government does not arise … … and most non-muslims are not able to digest this … other religions seem not to place so much emphasis on such values and if they do than its members do not follow them as required ….if they do follow than that person is like a ‘muslim”. becuase you will see no difference … you mention minority sections of islam use the theoracratic route to gain governance …this radical elements are found in all religions … does not mean the whole sum ( religion ) is branded radical … satatistics show that converts actually are better followers of Islam and adhere to the teachings than those born into Islam , converts are also more knowledgeable …. so your assertion …”I wonder how many converts Islam would have if the COMPELTE TRUTH were presented on what is expected of you becoming Muslim”… does not hold water!

      • “…this radical elements are found in all religions …”

True, “a little leaven, leaveneth the whole loaf.” These extremists take away from GOD’s Word.

“may be even your Muslim neighbor …..are they radical ?… they have been around for 20 years plus…

Mohammed ATTA (et al.), The Tsarneyev brothers, Sir-han Sir-han, look at the number of Islamic attacks here in the U.S.

        http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Pages/AmericanAttacks.htm

“….and most are good natured , well mannerred , uphold family values and morals … islam is a way of life…”

I’m sure everyone who was these people’s neighbors were shocked and in disbelief because of IGNORANCE. How many Radical Christians have gone out and dragged mild-mannered “Peaceful” Muslims and beheaded them? Hanged them? How many Radical Christians have murdered or mutilated their daughters for bringing shame to their family? “A little leaven, leaveneth the WHOLE LUMP.”

Let me tell you about working in Saudi Arabia, they held public executions and punsihments. Sometimes they would grab an American out of the crowd; bringing them to the front of the line and make them watch, so they UNDERSTOOD the ramifications of crime in their Country.

        http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/feb/3/iranian-executions-spiking-despite-thaw-with-west-/

If you lead a peaceful life in accordance to Allah and have a rational understanding and have made a PEROSNAL CHOICE of applying the peaceful CLEAN Life portion of Islam, Bless you, your rewards will be great; just as are TRUE Christian followers and TRUE Jewish followers who understand GOD’s TRUTH and only GOD’s TRUTH through His Word and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

No Dogma/Doctrine is better than the other, or RIGHT because…..”man is evil from his youth [Genesis 8:21] It is what we as INDIVIDUALS do regarding that evil which is important. When the “ACTIONS” contradict the “WORDS” we shall know them by their “FRUITS”; as the individual, the faction, the institution and their Doctrine.

I believe in GOD’s Word, not man’s Doctrine/Dogma. GOD’s Law was written long before the first commission of the Qu’ ran; GOD commanded HIS WORD be kept and carried on through the generations Thousands of years BEFORE that first commission of the Qu’ ran. No progress will be made towards PEACEFUL COEXISTANCE until ALL PARTICIPANTS shed their hearts MALICE, BITTERNESS and BACKBITING. You have stated what you believe, I am showing you how there are problems for you to get across your belief. As for conversions, it is FREE WILL and a REPROBATE MIND that has been given to ALL; it is WHAT WE DO WITH IT, that will determine our eternal destiny.

        IT IS WRITTEN:
“Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.

Ye stand this day all of you before the LORD your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel, Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:
That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day:
That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

        Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:
        (For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;
And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:)

Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; (ROOTS OF BITTERNESS)

And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:”
        [Deuteronomy 29:9-21]

Semper Vigilo, Fortis, Paratus et Fidelis

      • .you…..”GOD’s Law was written long before the first commission of the Qu’ ran;
GOD commanded HIS WORD be kept and carried on through the generations
Thousands of years BEFORE that first commission of the Qu’ ran.”………..which Word ? …. Which laws ?

    • Islam is not a religion it is a criminal political agenda, that is why it is the fastest growing non religion in prisons. It allows/encourages lying cheating, theft, murder and rape of those who do not follow the non religion. It encourages and allows pedophiles. There is no way to list here what the last half of the Quran allows and encourages its followers to do in treatment of non followers. It is not a religion it is a manifesto for on going war on all of those who will not submit to their phony warlord, pedophile as the messenger of Allah. It is a cult of hate and death. Anyone who believes otherwise is a FOOL.

      • see my comments below …. Why Islam popular ..and why Mohamed the greatest according to your historians and phylosophers..

      • Excellent response. I have been using a similar description of the “religion” of Islam for friends who ask this very same question.

      • The angel added, “I will increase your descendants so much that they will be too numerous to count.” The angel of the Lord also said to Hagar: “You are now pregnant and you will give birth to a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard of your misery. He will be a wild donkey of a man, his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.”Read more at http://www.allenbwest.com/2014/01/biblical-perspective-islamic-totalitarianism/#XkJMlc4I7kt7QWmk.99

      • Why are So Many Westerners Converting to Islam?

Christain Broadcasting Network… CBN.com – It is a fact that Islam is growing rapidly in the
West. In the U.S. alone the number of Muslims has risen dramatically, from
about 10,000 in 1900 to 3 million or more in 1991 (some authorities say 4.5
million). Most of this growth is due to recent immigration and the high birth
rate of Muslims (5 children per family on average), rather than to conversion.
Still, the number of those who convert to Islam is significant. In the U.S.,
the majority are African-American (a third of all Muslims according to most
authorities), but there have also been significant numbers of Anglos to convert
as well, many of them well-educated.

What is motivating people to turn to Islam? A recent article in Christianity
Today (Aug 20,1990) reported that in the U.S., the average age of those
converting to Islam (31) is about twice that for conversion to Christian faith
(age 16). It listed 5 main reasons given for becoming Muslim: Islam’s doctrine
is simple and rational, all believers are equal, it is a “practical”
religion, and lacks a priesthood. I read and clipped the article at the time,
but when I recently pulled it out to re-read it, it struck me that those
“reasons” merely parrot the arguments Muslim apologists use to
propagate Islam. On reflection, I would say that all that they show is that
Muslim apologetics is having some effect, but these are not necessarily what is
        motivating Americans to become Muslim.

An American Muslim interviewed in a fairly recent book (Neighbors: Muslims in
North America. Friendship Press, 1989) gave the following reasons when asked
why African-Americans are turning to Islam. I have heard the same things from
African-Americans in Philadelphia more than once. First on his list is racism
in the church. “The discrimination that we feel makes Islam attractive to
us because it’s a way of rejecting the culture that will not have us. In
sociological terms I think that one of the reasons that many African-Americans
go to Islam as opposed to Christianity–and many of us have been raised
Christian–is that the people doing these things to us are also
Christian.” How often does one not hear it said, “America is no more
segregated than at eleven o’clock on Sunday mornings.” The second reason
he gives is, I believe, also important in the conversion of Anglo-Americans.
“Another factor–and this is part of what attracted me to Islam–is
direction and discipline.” Our society is disintegrating for lack of
discipline, especially in the city. Through its disciplined life-style, to many
people Islam seems to hold out the promise of helping them get their lives back
        in order again.

Finally, there is a third factor which probably no one would ever mention
explicitly, for obvious reasons, but which, I believe, is nevertheless
important. This is the fact that Islam offers a conversion experience and the
opportunity to get one’s life in order, without needing to confess ones sin and
need of salvation. In fact, Islam makes quite a point of denying these truths.
It tells people they do not need salvation; all they need is to follow the
“guidance” of God’s law, and they will make it to heaven. That is
something the natural man likes to hear.

        Why Are Black People Converting?

Posted on October 8, 2009 by Reem

Growing up in the United States, I was exposed to all
different kinds of Muslims, especially those who chose to convert to Islam
later in life. I have always been fascinated with the challenges that new
Muslims face. Conversion seems like a very difficult decision in the context of
American culture and the Western sociopolitical setting more generally, where
Islam is often represented so negatively. Yet, even after 9/11, the interest in
Islam and the number of converts around the world continues to grow.

        One particular conversion context
has caught the attention of author Richard Reddie: that of Blacks in the United
Kingdom. In his book Black Muslims in Britain, Richard Reddie explores the reasons for the growing
numbers of Black Britons who are embracing Islam. Reddie was surprised to find
a lack of previous research about this phenomenon, but he did find a number of
aspects that offer insight into why the number is growing. Among these is the feeling that Islam offers an identity
that transcends ethnicity and race. This particular aspect has been echoed by
African-American converts to Islam, probably the most well-known of whom is Malcolm X.
In fact, Malcolm X’s life, Reddie found, continues to play a role in why some
black men, in particular, consider Islam. His life story provides a blueprint
for many of these young men, not only in the United States, but also in the UK.

        Also, some of Reddie’s interviewees
said that Islam “provided inspiration and
strength to engage with a society they regarded as corrupted by materialism and
moral relativism.” Many converts appreciated the
rules and structure of Islam. Unlike the image of Islam that is often
propogated in the media that focuses on violence and destruction, Reddie
underlines that Black Muslims in the UK have the reputation of helping those
involved in crime, drugs, and violence and of being among the most vocal about
calling others to Islam and to a life as a constructive member of society.

While his focus was on young men,
Reddie also interviewed women, many of whom said that the focus on modesty in
Islam was liberating. This last point is especially interesting because one of
the most prevalent stereotypes of Islam is that it oppresses women.
Nevertheless, Reddie highlights the fact that many women choose to become
Muslim and read Islam’s dictates concerning women positively. In my own
interaction with Muslim women converts, like Reddie, I have found that many
find Islam’s position on women to not only be refreshing but to be a motivating
        factor to convert.

The image of Islam is continously
being misrepresented and thus Muslims and those who decide to convert are often
misunderstood. Reddie not only explores the many reasons why someone would
choose Islam as a faith, but he also recognizes that it is important to
understand the real and positive role that Islam can play in a person’s
personal journey and in the society at large.

Are you a convert to Islam? What was
your reasons for conversion? Please share your story.

  22. Wow, Col. West, if you think your pastor is something, you would really love mine! He is a Marine that fought in Korea at Chosin, and teaches how history goes along with The Bible. One correction, the Jewish people are not the direct descendants of Isaac, except in being their grandfather. Isaac would have Jacob and Esau, and Jacob would be the father of 12 sons, Judah was but one of them. He and Benjamin would be the 2 tribes not taken captive by the Assyrian, and would be, and still are known as the Tribe(House) of Judah. The other 10 Tribes(Families) are now scattered from Europe, and later on to Canada and The Americas, so many in the United States of America, and because of their size they would be, and are known as the House of Israel. I stated earlier to someone… All true Jewish people are Israelites, but all Israelites are not Jewish. Some of us are not ‘lost”, we know who we are, and GOD knows too! Ask Pastor Eynon about The Caucasus Mountains…”so interesting”! I would really like to know what he thinks happened between Gen.1:1 and Gen.1:2, another thought for another time I guess… GOD Bless you Col. West!

  23. Exodus 34

11 Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

12 Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:

13 But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:

14 For thou shalt worship no other el: for יהוה, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous El:

    15 Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their elohim , and do sacrifice unto their elohim, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;

16 And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their elohim, and make thy sons go a whoring after their elohim.

17 Thou shalt make thee no molten elohim.

18 The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month of the aviv: for in the month of the aviv thou camest out from Egypt.

  25. WOW! What a great piece of Islamophobia work! I wonder how much you are getting paid to spread this anti-Islam propaganda? Is there any other religion or people that you hate that much? None of the article above is true, not even the Bible verse that you quote, unless your Bible is different than mine. You should have the guts to write and print the truth about Islam, Muslims and every other religion that you hate. Do you hate HIndus and Buddist too? Do you call your self a Christian? You should be ashamed.
