Why the racists cry “racism”

Many in America believed the election of the first African-American president would be the cleansing of past sins this country has sought for so long. They believed we would enter into a “post-racial” period in America where we would all truly realize that anyone can achieve whatever greatness they desired.

But as I look back on the events of the past week there is one word that comes to mind: racist.

This week demonstrated the elevation of Barack Hussein Obama to the highest office in the land (twice!) was still not enough. It seems the achievement itself, which could not have been attained without white Americans, still falls short of the true desire, which was blind allegiance and submission.

President Obama has shown he is not up to the standard of leadership for which Americans expect, but criticism of such is met with the retort of racism. Castigating people as racist just because they disagree with proven failed policies is simply despicable.

The objective is clear: to silence opposition and demean inquiry, but in the end it promotes intolerance and tyrannical behavior. Could it be this monumental historical moment is only a revelation, at the highest level, that affirmative action, –lowering standards for the false granting of opportunity — is indeed a failed and detrimental concept?

We have a first amendment right to “petition our government for redress of grievances” — that is a defined right — unlike a right to healthcare. Sadly, we are not in a post-racial America. Thanks to the increased use of the word racist, and hateful actions such as the “knockout game,” we have not just gone backwards, we are descending into a very scary abyss.

  1. When the only thing you have left is the race card when discussing Obama’s failed policies and presidency you know that it really is a failure because if there was even modicum of an argument to be made you’d go there first. It’s the act of a child who knows he’s beat so he resorts to name calling. It’s sad to see public figures this high up the food chain behave in this manner.

  2. Screw Oprah. She is probably the richest woman in America, and she has the nerve to call the country racist. You show me any other country in the world where she could have had the opportunities she has had in America. Nowhere.

We have been hearing the drivel since the ’60’s when self-righteous whites started this political correctness farce. You know what? Let them keep saying it, because each time they do, it loses a little bit more of its power each time.

  3. It seems that the lies, power grabs and other heinous policies of our black president have just served to embolden others of his black brothers to think that their bad behavior is always going to be excused on the basis of their race. obama’s time is about up and so will theirs be. The real disgrace is that others tar true achievers of the black race with the brush of the criminal class.

  4. obama is a great president because he made true racists hate him, not because of the color of his skin, but because of his policies

    • There is no room for racists in America. People like that don’t deserve the time of day. However, President Obama and many of his administrations policies are a failure. Obama should manage better and look into what his people in his administration are up to.

      • the two most profoundly racist acts in US history were the election, and re-election, of obama who was elected, and re-elected, solely based on the color of his skin not on the content of his sleazy character

  5. Much of this countries racism does not emanate from the racist but from the religions or lack of religion. Unfortunately anti-religion is taught from within the schools, the churches, the synagogues and the mosques. Hate not against races but again against ethnic and religious groups. The religious leaders of today have become begets most having little or no knowledge of their own historical religious teachings. Most acquiring the what has become known as the one world view to teach their congregations. Each of us are individualist and whish to remain that way, However, our self appointed leaders want us to be all equal not to them but to ourselves. Well the Constitution does not make us equal but mandates that we all have an equal opportunity(right) to use our individual skills to become successful in what we individually are capable of accomplishing. We are not all farmers, or steel workers nor bankers. Individuality is what made this country great. Throughout human history an individual or a group of individuals have linked together to elevate themselves above the rest, calling themselves leaders. kings or in this country politicians, who have deemed themselves to know what is best for the rest us. (socialists, the Obamas, the Reids and the Pelosis) Obama is a master at social dissent and uses racism to insight ethnic hate to achieve his socialist economic slavery agenda.

  6. His failures and blaming others has put a bad taste in Americans, both of those who voted for him and those who did. His failures, lack of character and blaming of others for these failures has assured that will be no black president in the near future.

      • Lt. Col. West and Dr. Carson would indeed be good candidates for just about any federal office, including the two at the top. By rights, they should be unbeatable as running mates in the next Presidential election, and eminently acceptable to all conservatives — rank-and-file Republicans, Tea Partiers, even Reagan Democrats (and we’d then need an updated name for that group). But of course the Democrats would first call them “Uncle Toms” and/or “Oreos”, then “copycats” if that failed to work. They could win, but only if their supporters are willing to stand up for them … and stand up to the other side’s name-calling. And of course, Hillary’s backers (you know she’s going to run in ’16) would tell their base, “We’ve already done that. Now it’s time for the first female President.” We’d have to counter that too. Sadly, it’s no longer enough to have the best candidates in this age when people are concerned about no offending minority interests with their votes.

I say, let’s consider these two among the best contenders, if they’re willing to run, and make the other side defend against charges of racism. But just in case they don’t choose to run (individually or as a team), we need to look for other top-rank people who can win the Presidential race, AND fill other elected posts and/or top appointments. Any new administration is going to need a lot of new people in leadership positions, and so is any new Congress.

Whoever runs for our side, we have to be willing and ready to give them all the support we possibly can. This time around, even more than before, we can’t possibly risk letting someone win office who will continue the progressive agenda. You hear me, “perfect candidate” holdouts? We absolutely have to work as a team to beat back the progressives. That means we have to field winning teams in ’14 and ’16, even if your choice for “team captain” doesn’t make the cut. Win these two elections, and your preference still has a chance of making the team later. Lose either of those two, and your guy/gal’s chances of ever being elected become even slimmer.

      • When will people learn electing someone to office JUST because they would be the first of anything is stupid. Obama is an on going example of that with one failure after another. Damn Hillary run, she is not worthy either. Remember Bengazi! Hasn’t the country had enough of the Clinton/Bush/Obama regimes & what they feel is right for America according to them. The people need to tell them what is right for the people.

      • No disrespect intended towards Dr. Ben Carson, Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Rand Paul or other potential 2016 Republican candidates, but Col. Allen West is the ONLY major U.S. political figure who has been consistently speaking out on national security issues, clearly and cogently sounding the alarm like a modern-day Paul Revere on the dangerous shoals our nation is drifting into like some sort of rudderless derelict ship under Captain Obama — while our enemies like the Islamic jihadists and our rivals like Russia and China – neither of them a real ally but at best a “frenemy” – watch with undisguised glee as we continue to alienate our real allies and stumble around after shooting ourselves in the foot.. And thanks to his own professional background as a 22-year active duty Army officer, combat commander and decorated war hero, plus his formal training at the Army’s elite Command and General Staff College – the graduate school that has produced most of our great military leaders over the past century – Col. West is probably the only major U.S. political figure one with the sufficient strategic training for thinking outside the box in order to anticipate and counter our opponents in doing the ABSOLUTELY most important part of a President’s job – overseeing the defense and protection of the United States of America and its citizens. If we don’t get that right, nothing else will matter.

      • I agree with your accolade for Col/Congressman West, but offer this caveat: When Mr West lost his seat in Congress in the last election, he lost …well,he came up short in the vote count… to the son of a big bucks weasel who wanted to buy his way into influence and power. The smear campaign that was waged by them against Mr West was despicable and untruthful……and, dare I say it…..racist. Through it all, Mr West and his supporters remained on point, but came up short in the vote count, losing to an unqualified rubber-stamper for all things Democrat. Until the politicians and voters cease to look upon our elections as some sort of team sport, placing “team” loyalty above loyalty to our country, we will forever be stuck with the victory of appearance over substance, promise over performance.

  8. It seems the word racist pops up more than ever since Obama and his administration has taken charge. The main stream media, Hollywood, and tv entertainers are also some of the biggest users. It is truly sad how this has accelerated. Col. West is right on the money acknowledging this problem. I wish there were more Americans like him.

  9. We are witnessing the RAPE of our freedoms, liberties, Constitution, and Bill of Rights. America has been transformed into the World’s newest Marxist State. The ghost of Hugo Chavez is crying tears of joy seeing his student gut America to the bone. The Marxist in Chief and his Puppet Master Valerie Jarrett are dismembering our way of life. Granted, they have such a huge percentage of citizens who are completely clueless of this reality. These are typically the ones who experience the steel bloody boots of The State on their dead body laying in the street. America is not exempt from history.

  10. When someone calls me “racist” I just smile and say…”Stick and Stones may break my bones…but WORDS will never hurt me”! Then just walk off or leave the page on the internet. That word does not hurt me ..AT ALL!

  11. I believe the only action that can be taken and succeed, would be to elect ONLY patriotic American men and women in the ilk of Cong. Allen West and others, who would DIE, rather than change the constitutional rights we have lived by for so long. We also need to change the name of the Republican party to something like “Conservative Constitutionalists” or “New Conservatives”. However I fear it will take an awful lot to rebuilt our constitutional republic after BO and friends are through making us over into the Marxist mold. We MUST act NOW to rid our hallowed halls of the hellish followers o Obamas, Oprahs, etc. These blind followers never see what is going on in the big picture, just as they see NOT the results of the “Gay Pride” era…that is the acceptance nearly nation wide of Homosexual Marriages. Now that so many blacks feel that those of us who criticize Obama are racists makes us all wonder HOW we may disagree with any politican, if he/she is racially different from ourselves.

  12. I also believe ‘racist’ is used when there is nothing else that can be said. It is a sad statement that bad actions can not be justified or glorified so therefore it is the only recourse left. Sad, sad, sad.

  13. Why do they always call it racism when someone does not agree with them?
Why are people labeled racist if we do not agree with the politics of present?
Please remember MLK….. “Not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character”
What type of character does BHO have to want to destroy this country?

  14. Just for the very usage of the word “racist” tells me that you have nothing more intelligible to say towards a subject. Liberal whites and the majority of the Black populace are the only ones that even use the term and they use it in a offensive manner, hoping that it will start an argument. I didn’t vote for Barry in either election. But I had hopes that he would prove me wrong. He didn’t. The first Black President for the U.S. is a total failure. I’m hoping that the next one, LtC Allen West, hint hint, will be a total reversal and nothing but a success for Americans as a whole but for the Black citizenry (especially their youth).

    Newt Gingrich/Allen West 2016/2020 succeeded by Allen West/? 2024/2028

  15. Obama uses his black half but he hates being black and hates being white. He is first and foremost a muslim and that is the side he shows. Just like any muslim, what ever you do to please him, it’s never enough and he wants more. He is one mentally sick person and he can’t ever be cured.

  16. The chickens have come home to roost; Barry O has proven himself to be what we knew all along, a complete inept fraud and a failure.
